The host club Golden Victory was closed for the last two days to facilitate a change of theme. When its doors reopen on the first, the change from the upscale classy atmosphere of last month is dramatic. The interior is now decked out to the theme of a pirate ship. There's rigging along the booths at the walls and the bar has been done up to look like an exotic market. Fruits and nuts have replaced the bowls of peanuts that had graced the bar top and the herbs and spices cast a pleasing aroma over the entire club floor. There is a small Help Wanted: Bartender. Contact Zelos for Details sign on the bar but it's oddly hard to spot, partially obscured by various bits of decor. The hosts themselves have been given opulent pirate attire to go with the theme! Each, of course, has been allowed to add little details of their own to the uniform as long as it fits with the theme, and of course lets not forget the hats. The host list is, as ever, placed by the door for the customer's perusal next to the posting of the rules. Hosts: Angelo Asbel Lhant
Atem Dhaos
Duke Pantarei Fai D. Flourite Ioder
Peony Malkuth IX Rin Okumura Roy Mustang Ryu Serph Sora and Roxas (take clients together.) Zelos Wilder (Only takes appointments with women.) So how about it, patrons? Would you care to spend some time with Vatheon's dashing buccaneers? ((ooc: So I've decided to knock out the structure of the last post since it didn't really help anything. Hosts can still make appointment threads as they prefer and if something is to take place in a certain section of the club privately, just note that in the subject line as a closed thread. Otherwise, have fun!)) |

Who: Shing Meteoryte and YOU. Where: Still the hospital. Yep. When: Forward-dated to anytime between Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon. Style: Action Status: Open
[There was a quiet groan from Shing as he came to all at once; wincing, it takes him for a while to remember just what had happened. They were... ambushed, right? That... that thing, Vanitas? So many of those creatures... Rin...
And then the flash of pain as a sword was driven into him, lingering just long enough to see Kohaku die before he eventually succumbed.
Yeah, he died.
...
... he doesn't want to look or even talk to anyone right now. Shing groans again, placing a hand on his forehead as he stares up at the ceiling. Oddly enough, it wasn't actually dying that bothered him, but watching Kohaku and Rin suffer as he passed, not being able to do anything but watch... he felt like a failure. Well, he was one, for lack of a better term.
One hand moved to feel around for any scars, but he couldn't feel anything. He wasn't sure if that was a blessing or not yet. It didn't really change the fact that he'd died on everyone, failed protecting Kohaku... just failed everything in general.
Did they hate him for it? Of course, they probably did. He wouldn't have been surprised if that were the case... collapsing back onto the bed, he sighed. Why was he never strong enough when these kinds of things happened...?
Sitting up again and attempting to get out of bed, he winced as his body refused to listen, his head swimming from dizziness. The last thing he wanted was to face either of them right now... how was he going to apologize to them for letting them down so badly?]

Who: Spirit Albarn and You Where: The Plaza When: Tuesday, late afternoon Style Any style will do. Status: Open
Spirit peers at the bizarre, starfish-like device and turns it over in his hands as he aimlessly wanders about the plaza, leaving a trail of wet footprints in his wake. Every so often, he looks up, glacing around at his current surroundings with wide, apprehensive eyes. He eventually fixes his gaze upwards, shivering and as he stares at the sky -or what looks like it might be a sky. It looks vaguely sky-like. It must be some kind of sky. What else could it be? |

Who: Walter, Tiir, and Guriko Where: Forest, near the lake When: Later afternoon Style: Either Status: Closed
[Walter is before the large lake in the forest today, not really doing anything but thinking. With little choice in the matter of allowing Shirley more freedom -- or so he's convinced himself -- it's all that's left to be done.
His thoughts are fragmented, plaguing his mind with loathsome ideas. He stands there, quiet but scowling at the surface of the still water.
At one point, he goes forth and dips a hand in it with an upturned palm. He's still for a moment before he pulls the hand out, his expression blank.
This water has neither a voice nor a conscience, as far as he can tell. And it bothers him.] |

Who: Sophie and Dad Asbel Where: The Island When: Wednesday afternoon Style: Whichever Asbel wants~! Status: Closed
[ The flicker of the lantern lights was casting enough of a glow over the beach on the island to see by. Sophie didn't mind the darkness, and she wasn't sure why so many other people did. But with her tonight was her dear friend and not!dad Asbel. Sophie herself had intended to show him what she learned from Ryu, though not...actually..having fishing gear was putting a bit of a bump in that plan. No matter, she could catch them by hand too! Eventually.
But for now, she was crouched at the edge of the water, watching the fish dart to and fro beneath the surface, before she turned to the elder boy. ]

Who: Kohaku Hearts ( spiria) and whoever wants to come and welcome her back to life! When: Wednesday 08/01, Night Time Where: Hospital Style: Starting in Brackets, will match whatever you do! Status: Open!! [ The first thing she noticed upon gaining some fuzzy semblance of consciousness was that she had a pretty nasty headache. She stirred, slowly opening her eyes and seeing ... well, darkness. Almost all around her, darkness. The only light that shone was coming from the open door to the room she was in, which led out into a hallway. She could hear sounds coming from that hallway. Voices.
She closed her eyes again, lifting an arm and laying it over her eyes. Her head hurt, her mind was fuzzy, and she wasn't entirely certain of where she was.
What had happened ...?
And then, in a flash of ... something, it all came back to her. The attack, the fight, and the pain as Rin's sword was run through both her and Shing. The fear she had felt as she realized that she was going to die from that injury, and that Shing was probably going to die, too ...
It was as she thought of Shing that she sat up, suddenly; she opened her mouth to call out for him, and for Rin, but she was stopped by a sudden wave of dizziness adding to her already fuzzy mind, and her head flaring up again in pain. ]S-Shing ... Rin? [ She forced her eyes open, and looked around the room. She was in a hospital.
... Had she died? She was sure she had. ] |
