Who: Chibiterasu and you!
Where: Any mostly empty street in town.
Style: Starting with action, but I'll follow you!
Status: Open. o/
[It's been bothering him for awhile.
It's noisy. It's constantly rousing him from naps with it's obtrusive flashing and dinging. Sometimes weird images with incomprehensible symbols appear on it. Other times he hears people talking through it, but he can't figure out how they do it! What a confusing and annoying contraption. :(
But it seems, at last, Chibi has finally found a use for the SFC. And judging by the way it bangs off a nearby trashcan and he has to go chasing after it himself, it looks like he could use a second player. Street hockey, anyone?]
( ooc note: Warning for blood and gore. )[ooc note: Consider this your mingle log. Have fun, go forth, threadjack.
And as a further note, the fog does not seem to be clearing up as the week goes on. ]

Who: Izaya and whoever wants to interact
Where: Plaza. Probably near the elevator.
When: Evening about.
Style: Action. Because.
[It's not that unusual to see Izaya looking happy. It's just unusual to see him lugging so much shit with him. Okay, it's not a lot, but by his standard- it's too much.
There's a telescope slung around his shoulder, a blanket under the other arm, and then a basket filled with who knows what, probably heads of dullahans or something, in his spare hand.
He's peering up at the bubble as he makes his way towards the elevator.
When. Oh no. A book that had been crammed into the top of the basket topples out. The tragedy.
Izaya keeps walking. Wow, his attention must be elsewhere pretty intense. And what is that book anyway? It looks weird. Are those instructions on human sacrifice------!!!
Actually it's just a fairy tale. But who can read kanji anyway? Aw look at the fairies-]

up on the island, on the shoreWhen:
action preferred but prose is ok too!Status:
[ It figures that now that Feferi doesn't have
to be up on the island, she would choose
to be up there, but it's a nice day to relax, build sandcastles, and force starfish and crabs to be the king and queen of said sandcastles! But she hasn't stopped there, no-- she is well on her way into building herself a sand fort
, complete with turrets and little sand-canons, around a small little dugout she's created and filled with water. It's deep enough so that sitting down, only her head is poking above ground. Her usual skirt, and shoes, and jewelry have been left a few feet away, next to a box of beach toys she's obtained for herself, although shes got quite a little collection in the hole with her.
Oddly enough, you will not find a single brightly-colored beach pail in sight. ]
The island was certainly all abuzz now. The natives mingle around, decorations abounding and food laid out on tables and still being made. They certainly went all out this time, but if asked they just respond “We’ve been granted another year by the great Lamufao.”
Don’t think about it too hard.
Either way, they’re showing all of their gratitude for the foreigners now. Food is being offered shamelessly, good cheer and compliments and thank you’s passing through each native’s lips.
Near the elevator, in an open field, the party is taking place. They nagged and nagged for the foreigners to dress up; if you didn’t, you might feel a little out of place here. But the food and the music are both excellent and dancing is optional, at least.
The beach is a bit more chill. Enjoy the warmth and the water, maybe kick back and have a drink. It’s night time, certainly, but the weather is still pleasant and the sand is warm.
More attracted by the food on those tables? That’s quite alright; there’s food of all sorts from all sorts of places, not just seafood (be grateful to the natives for trying). There are a few Vatheon only dishes, however, for the daring! (Is that more kraken on that plate…?)
And then, near midnight, comes the fireworks. How romantic would it be to exchange kisses at the stroke of midnight under the light of the fireworks? Or just enjoy them with a friend; they light up the sky, pretty and nothing too fancy…though the natives seem to think that they are incredible.
Most of all, have fun, mingle and enjoy the new year!
