[Izaya couldn't believe his luck. Just as he had been starting to wonder if he should get a pet for his too-empty pent house, this little guy showed up in the Plaza. Practically asking for Izaya to adopt him.

So after Izaya seemed to confirm that there was no owner following after the cat in the fountain, he shoved the cat into his jacket to get him dry and frolicked off to his humble abode.

Once there, he loosened his arms from where he had hugged the cat to his body and unzipped the front of his jacket to finally let him go.]

Welcome home, kitty~. Ah, I need to think of a name for you...Anyway.

[He's just going to lock his door and kick off his shoes.]

You can sleep with me tonight~. Tomorrow we can go and get some supplies. I wonder what type of food you like. You don't really look like a normal cat, hn...

[ Duzell couldn't believe the unlucky thought of being adopted yet again. This one was highly more aggressive than Ishtar will ever be. Despite all that He didn't struggle after a ten minutes of trying to get away from Izaya. The vampire cat just gave up for now. It might serve him some good purpose in the future one way or another.

He just chills quietly in Izaya's arm kind of half growling at the human still. At least he wasn't dripping wet anymore. The vampire cat continues to wait until the human lets him go in which he runs across the room away from Izaya. Please if you were going to give him a name give hime something worth using.

A vampire king cannot be called silly pet names. It's insulting. Duzie was already drawing a line so he better give him something useful....even though it won't be his name at all. Supplies? Why? Did this kid seriously want to keep him here? ]

[Yes. Did you not see yourself in cat form? Adorable! And Izaya's always wanted a cat. It figures that some weird demonic looking cat would be his ideal pet. This is to be expected.

[ Is a terrible vampire king. He is not adorable. He refuses to admit he looks adorable. How mocking of you human boy! Wow he pretty much got all that in a small package.

Yes, he will try to get away form you Izaya you creepy child. He doesn't even know how to react to this. He manages to move away at least until he gets scooped up again. There's a growling meowing noise and him maybe swiping at Izaya because hey stop doing that!

Let's see. Now to think of a good name. You look kinda like a...Maximus. That's always been a pretty strong name to me! But you kinda look like a demon...Aheh. Damien maybe...?

[He does not care about your swiping, cat. Your little paws do nothing to him. He's just going to put him against his chest again.]

[He wanders over to his windows and turns the cat a bit so that he could look out as well.]

[ No do not call him silly names like that. He growls disapprovingly at the second name as well. He doesn't like it because it's not his name. Not that a silly human boy would know the name of a vampire king in a cat's body...really.

He's swiping again and they have claws human claws.....no struggling. Kitty is struggling beyond belief. ]

[ He glances out with his golden eyes as he's put towards the window. At leas the human was somewhat useful in his information. Duzell was getting it slowly. ]

[ no deaths huh? Well that's a surprise to him. ]

Stop it. You're not a very smart cat are you, Maximus? I'm just trying to help you. If you're going to live here, you should probably learn to relax a little. Be a good kitty.

[Have a thwack on the nose for that claw-swiping. Izaya doesn't appreciate it. Okay. Even if it doesn't even hurt. It's about the manners.]

See, look. We're under water. And then that coral? It's apparently capable of healing people. Although one time, nyaha, I crippled this one boy but it couldn't heal that so he decided to kill himself instead. So I guess it can't perform miracles.

[Of course he was going to speak loosely to a cat. He hasn't got much to hide after all.]

There's no legal system either, in speaking of which. So it's not like anyone ever came after me. Just his friend who's more of an annoying Jesus figure than anything else so ff- not like he was going to do much...

[He's just going to hug the cat against his chest but his tone's become a little more serious now.]

Humans are really very interesting though. Nn..So complicated but...Heh. Not to me. That's why I get bored! And lonely of course. But that's why I have you now.

[He throws himself into his spinning chair and raises the cat above his head, smirking up at him.]

[ He refuses to be called Maximus. He doesn't like that name thank you very much. You're lucky he hasn't ripped your head off. Well that isn't much of a threat considering the predicament he is now stuck in. The cat just growls some more even though his struggling almost completely stopped. He's still trying to claw out Izaya's eyes though. Might be amusing. He's not too sure how blood of these kinds of humans taste like.

Though, he'll stop here and there to listen to the human. The human seemed to enjoy talking to him as if he could understand. Well, he did but wasn't it strange to talk to cats? Well Ishtar did plenty of talking to him too. This one seemed to trust him even more than the bratty princess. ]

[ A twisted human being. Well that's interesting. It might not be too bad after all since this little human would be easy to mess with later. For now, though, he'll behave. The boy's feeding him good information and it's better than wasting his time trying to find it or demand it from other people.

He still doesn't like being hugged like a stuffed animals. A twisted human you are. No wonder you're lonely. He thought to himself as he glanced at the boy. ]

[ Really...what is with these humans? ]

[Like the cat has a choice. Despite his growling and general disposition of bad temperament, Izaya just finds this kitten cute. Granted he's totally not a kitten but whatever.]

[He's heard of declawing. Of course he's all for animal rights and being kind to animals but hey, he wasn't about to let a cat try and hurt him for the sake of being gentle.

Easy to mess with? Well one could only wish he were easy to mess with. Izaya brings the cat down against his chest, hugging the small cat body against his chest.]

You're my cat now. I hope you get used to this~. And you will, really. At least you're not so wet anymore, hn? Nya..do you take cat naps too?

[ He will have one sooner or later....He's being fairly civil right now. Yes, him and that girl...how does a cat like this look cute? ]

[ Another growl. Just watch he'll claw him if he wants to. If the human tries to rip his claws out, well that won't be a pretty sight for either of them. Yes he has his cautiousness and the cat doesn't blame him but he won't just sit there and watch him rip out his claws either if the human tried to anyway.

Well he could hope. This human was a twisted little thing so it might be difficult. He's getting really tired of being cuddled like a baby but he deals with this humiliation for the sake of his own sanity. No need to ruin his identity right now. He's still giving the boy the dark look.

Cat naps....well yes...but we'll leave that for him to find out. ]
