Evening, on SundayStyle:
OPEN. Threadjack, threadhop, spam away![ Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen of Vatheon— whatever your newfound stature may be, Prince, Princess, Knight, or Peasant, you will all receive a message on your SFC on the eve of Saturday regardless:
You are cordially invited to the castle for this evening's ball. In addition, you are all welcome to try and solve the riddle if it fancies you. It just may break the curse!
The invitation is unsigned, but its intentions are clear. Maybe you hadn't quite noticed the sizeable castle in the distance of the city that had sprung up, but this message would surely garner your attention toward it now.
Should you arrive at the castle, plenty of attractions await you:
Ballroom ❧ A very large and beautiful ballroom is lighted up, complete with a playing violin orchestra. While the curtains will be drawn during this event, there is a windowed view and exit on one side of the ballroom that leads to:
Smee's Rose Garden ❧ A broad and colorful spanse of a garden, complete with many paths and turns. Plenty of roses are arranged in great arches, which provide perfect little places should you need some privacy with your sweetheart. Anyone familiar will even tell you that the garden was purposefully designed for just that sort of thing.
The Riddle ❧ There is an inscription located on a noticeable plaque set in one of the garden's benches. It reads:
Two are necessary to break this curse
Riled up, upset, what kind of love?
Only this kiss will stop it from getting worse.
Look for a winged one is push comes to shove,
Look for a glance slightly dark,
Search for a pair in reluctant love.
One answers a call; that's your mark;
One longs for patria though adverse.
Dining Hall ❧ Connected to the ballroom is an extremely long hall that stretches as far as the eye can see, elegantly arranged as the dining area. Expensive and exquisite cuisine seem to be on the menu— try something new? Chances are you won't be eating from a selection such as this again anytime soon!
Dais ❧ There is a noticeable raised dais that is easily visible via any area within the ballroom. It's locked off from guests, though— what is it for...?
Do enjoy. ]

Who: Denzel the Magical Genie and you
Style: Up to you
Denzel the genie had been rather disappointed, despite now having his very own magical powers; he was bound by the rules of the genie. Inside his magical lamp sitting on his sofa reading a book, "I wonder if this is how Norm felt."
James and Snape had already been Crocker's masters. Denzel lounges about till some other loser rubs his lamp. That might just appear anywhere.
(Warning don't be vague, you probably won't get what you wished for~)

Everything is strange.
The people, the world, it all feels wrong and right at the same time; and crowded, crushing down on the delicate lady like a stone. She raises her hands to her head, unable to block the silence that now reigns, the dullness of the world around her. There is magic, yes, but it is mortal and small, paltry. She hardly recognizes it to compare to hers, she thinks, as she runs her hand over the star-shaped scar on her forehead, hidden under her long ruby hair. Oh but she has none, now that she's mortal. The body is small and makes her feel sick, weak. She must continue, though. She has to find them.
But who? Who does she need to find? She can't remember, can't focus enough to try, just knowing she must keep searching.
So she walks, barefooted through the streets of the city and outlaying regions, seeking.
Won't you come to this lost maiden's aide?

['Pan' - for that's who he was, not the paththic mockery that passed for that false life Silver or whatever it was that kept trying to trick him - paced. The two childern that he'd half-drained had long since been discarded into a holding cell somewhere with the help of his mount. Such a useful thing it was. Ungainly on land, but it was much the same with his crocodile.
Oh well. It was useful and it fit what he wanted in a pet, so he wasn't going to look a gift in the mouth.
And it looked like he was going to get another snack to day, that stupid bird-human thing. He doubted that it would 'taste' as pleasent as the childern, but... beggers could hardly be choosers right now.
Either way, 'Pan' still paced. After he'd feasted, he would have to find a more permanent home. Perhaps a castle that he could make his own? And then focuse on finding his queen - the wretch Wendy.
Though, food first, fun later.

Might not be the best idea, questing ones and those just wandering around. There's a large, white, winged cat taking up seat in the middle. Large as a lion, the odd bit is besides the wings, that's not a cat's head, but Duke's.
He doesn't seem too bothered by the fact he's now a sphinx. In fact, there are a few bird feathers on the ground by his paws. He's discovered how easy it is to snack on flying things, and is now waiting for any travelers to want to pass.
]((OOC: Duke will give difficulties (easy, medium, hard) and three chances to answer - you can ask two clarifying questions and give your answer, or answer earlier. PM, plurk, or aim me (@ AurianEnasni) if you're having trouble with answers. ))

[It's been two days since he started coming to his senses, the false memories of that other life already fading back into the ether of whatever spell had created them. As they disappear, though, he remembers. The ball, the one he'd danced with, that moment of timeless magic when their eyes had met and their hearts had known.
The tolling of the bell as midnight approached.
His partner had fled, he didn't know why - but they'd left their shoe behind. The shoe he now holds clutched in his hands. It must have been crafted with magic, he knows, because there is no other way to explain how the delicate glass could support a person's weight without breaking. Surely this shoe was made to fit one foot and one foot alone. It's the only clue he has to the identity of his love. He doesn't even know his love's name or gender. He only knows that they hold his heart.
And that he's going to find them, even if he has to try this shoe on every person in the land.
Speaking of which...
He approaches the next person he sees, giving them a bow fit for the knight he is.]
Excuse me, yes, you. Your pardon, but can I have a moment of your time?
[ooc: Only a "Cinderella" will fit the shoe. Let me know if this is the case. o/]

[As goddess of love,
Johnny Aphrodite had been flitting around, overseeing all sorts of interactions and 'noble quests of love' throughout the bubble.
As such, she decided to check on some of her favorite

Surely, they wouldn't mind having someone as gorgeous as her laying about the place.]
Characters: Carol and all of you people
Location: In front of the castle that was once the Station Master's house
Style: Up to you lovely people!
Status: OPEN; threadjack and spam at will. Carol will be fluttering around reluctantly.
[If any Vatheonite takes the time today to take a look around the castle, they will find a very, very grumpy fairy godmother fluttering around.
Look, it's Carol, in full-costume and fluttering her wings and looking very sour indeed.]
Play along, he says. Grant wishes, he says. Ugh!
[She looks like she might snap that wand, oops. But she's also fluttering next to a crude, poorly done sign that says Quests for heroes!
...Maybe she'll give you a quest if you go talk to her?
ooc: let's get some questing going, Vatheonites! No fairy tale is complete without a plot, right? If you have a quest in mind, you're welcome to use this log to play it out and get people in on it; just mark the subject line Title of quest | Location | Open/Closed. If you don't have an idea for a quest or would like to talk to Carol, that's perfectly fine too; just mark those threads with Castle to indicate where your characters are! She'll only be sticking around the castle, so she won't be going on any quests with you guys.]
