[It's not a fun thing, discovering your ex has quite possibly gone off the deep end. It's even worse when he decides to shove you like unwanted trash at a 15 foot man-looking sorceress who's about to Junction you to her. Just as Adel reached for her, Rinoa screamed and tried to scramble back...

And suddenly found herself soaking wet and stumbling backwards into a fountain. She sputters and splashes, trying to regain her focus. When the panic finally subsides and she's calm enough to think, she slowly climbs out of the fountain, spitting out some of the water she swallowed. Yuck.

Once she's on the edge of the fountain, she sits and looks around, taking in the... strangely familiar surroundings. A bubble under the sea. She's seen this before.]

...Oh.

[Although the monitors and wires and needles still scared Rinoa, the care she has been receiving counter-balanced the uneasiness the place made her feel. And really, the doctors and nurses had been doing a good job of taking care of her, to the point where she was likely ready to go home in another day or two.

All in all, she was lucky. She wasn't as drugged as the other victims (although it was going to make for some bad nightmares for awhile). The needlemarks on her arms were covered with band-aids, and the tears in her back were stitched and bandaged. The only other visible injury was her eye. The swelling had gone down, leaving a nice black and blue bruise in its wake. That would heal on its own.

But until she was clear to leave, she was stuck in there, with only her SFC and a small television to keep her occupied. Now that the drugs had been flushed out of her system, she was coherent. And she could really use some company.]

[Assuming this curse would function like all of the others, Johnny would be back in his body soon and, as much as he would rather have that for Rinoa's sake, there would be aspects of being human that he would miss. Being able to walk about without the urge to sink his teeth into everyone around him, not having to hear the constant thumping of hearts...it was quiet and peaceful in comparison.

So he was taking his time today as he wandered around doing shopping for his apartment, Jacob, and the tavern, including stopping by a flower shop to get something colorful for the other man. And, of course, he decided that he might as well take advantage of the difference between his body and Rinoa's and dress a little differently than usual.

Of course...the last thing he did was go up to the island. One day in the sun, that would be nice. He hadn't gotten the chance when that one curse had turned him into an angel, but now he had the time.

Once he was out of the elevator, though, he sighed and shook his head. Of course it was cloudy.]

Even when I'm human God doesn't want to share His light.

Ah well.

[A walk along the beach would still be nice.

After a bit, he settled in the sand, watching the waves. He retrieved the flute he'd brought with him began to play, just taking a moment to let the music fill his head and chase everything else away. Sometimes a moment of peace was necessary.]

[It's been a long time since Serph's disappearance. Maybe it seemed like he wasn't going to be coming back to Vatheon.

But if you happen to be passing through the Plaza, there's someone appearing out of thin air and... falling into one of the fountains with a great splash. If you're curious enough to look at the water, it's gaining a reddish tinge.

...Yeah, that's blood mixing with the water.

But wait long enough, and there's a guy pulling himself out of the fountain, looking like a drowned rat. There's a break in his abdominal armour. But while there are some stubborn bits of blood at the break's edges, there's no wound in the flesh underneath; the skin is unmarked, like it had been healed perfectly.

Serph's back. And he's alive.

...And totally dripping water all over the Plaza again.]

It's a good week in the bubble! ...Then again, every week is fairly pleasant, temperature wise, in this little city under the sea.

But!

This week is extra pleasant, because there are training dummies set up all over the field in the park, all ready and waiting to be smacked around or smashed into itty bitty bits. Oh, but if hitting dummies aren't your thing, there are also targets for the archers and marksmen who want to get some target practice set up at the north end, cordoned off so people don't accidentally wander into the line of fire. And for those who'd rather play it safe or would like start learning the art of battle, there are plenty of practice weapons in... wheelbarrows? at the corners of the field.

Well, okay, this week would actually be unpleasant if you use the park for some peace and quiet. But for everyone else wanting to get some good old fashioned sparring and training in, this week's a great time to do it!
