Who: Cielo and whoever is out this fine morning
Where: Plaza
When: Morning
Style: The style of your choosing
Status: Open
[Good morning, Vatheon, are you perhaps still a little sleepy this morning? Well, worry not! The last bits of your grogginess are probably going to be cast out very soon.
Anyone in the plaza will probably notice a demon suddenly appearing in the air and making a rapid and rather uncontrolled descent downward until he crash lands into a fountain.
Hey, remember the last time some dude splashed into that very fountain and the water started turning red? Yeah, that's happening again.
The demon thrashes about in the water a bit, roaring with annoyance until it lifts his head and rests it on the side of the fountain. Blood drips through its teeth and out his mouth and for those who dare to take a closer look, they'll notice that half of the poor thing's left wing is missing and the wound is still bleeding.
That does explain why the water's turning red quite nicely.
Cielo nudges his half-wing with his head, the light of a Diarama spell mending some of the damage and sets it back down on the side of the fountain again.
He'll get out in a bit just...give him a minute here. He kind of hurts a lot. Everywhere.]

Tiir blinks when Cielo appears, as it takes a moment before the form registers. Isn't that—?]
Cielo!
[He rushes over to him, though he halts and steps back when Cielo casts a spell, as he doesn't want to accidentally interfere.]
... Cielo?
no subject
Hey bro.
[This water is nice, but he should probably get out of the fountain, huh?]
no subject
Tiir manages a smile as he offers his hand to him.]
It's good to see you—disregarding your condition, of course.
no subject
This? Ah, don't you worry, it can be fixed easily.
[A quick revert to human form shows that the limb loss is not permanent!]

And sure enough, when she makes it to the fountain, she finds poor Cielo laid out in the fountain, looking worse for wear.]
Cielo!
[She hops onto the fountain ledge, gently examining his wing. Fff, she's not great with healing spells, but this can't be ignored. Concentrating hard, her fingertips brush the injured wing as she summons a Curaga spell.
There will be profuse apologies if she accidentally blows off the wing.]
no subject
Thanks, sis.
[He uses his one good wing to push himself up and stand.]
Funny I ended up back here.

You and Squall. And Serph just the other day. You guys need to stop crash landing in here.
[Her tone is dry and sarcastic, but she's smiling all the same. Now everyone is here, and minus an injury, everything is well! How could she not?]
no subject
I'll try not to in the future, ja?
[But first, the more immediate problem of his wing. Cielo doesn't like having half a wing. It makes him unbalanced along with being incredibly inconvenient. Often, when he returns to human form, he likes to snap the fingers/claws on his left hand.
The hand that is currently missing.
:T
So he'll just have to do without that then, and he returns to human form. If Rinoa was expecting him to only have half an arm, surprise! It's whole and it looks perfectly fine. Cielo looks up towards the bubble's "sky."
It's morning here.]

...After finding Serph crawling out of the fountain just the other day, she hadn't expected to find someone else, doing essentially the same thing. She'd hoped that Cielo would return, of course but it had taken Serph weeks, so she'd still been waiting. On her way back to the base, her eyes lingered on the fountain instinctively, and that's when she sees him. It's hard to mistake him for anyone else, and she runs to check on him.
Still in her human form.]
Cielo!
[...Her Atma tattoo glows, ready to transform and heal him, but it kind of fades when she notices that he's already healing himself.
She backs up just a couple steps to give him room. And though she desperately wants to ask what happened, she just...lets him breathe, for now.]
no subject
Okay, forget pain, forget missing half a wing, forget dying. He's getting up right now. As he does, he reverts back to human form, repairing his lost limb and he very nearly stumbles as he gets out of the fountain to hug Argilla.
Just...hug her. Nothing else.]
no subject
But his human form admittedly-- and thankfully-- looks less brutalized. So when he moves in for a hug... she returns it. Still speechless.
That look in his eyes just now... why...?]
...
[She opens her mouth to say something but closes it again; only hugging him tighter. Although it'd only been three days or so, it... for some reason felt like a lot longer.]
no subject
...ow.
Maybe this wasn't the best idea - oh who cares? He'd chop off his other wing for a chance to see Argilla again.
Since she doesn't seem to be saying anything, he'll will.]
I missed you.

Serph had been disappointed to find out Cielo had left Vatheon when he'd returned, but with Tiir's return, he thought that maybe, maybe Cielo would, too. In a way, he's glad he's right. But in another... he's never seen Cielo so hurt before...
He's running over in an instant. Serph doesn't have healing spells, but he does have some healing items. Cielo looks like he's on the verge of keeling over, but he's also not in immediate danger, so Serph holds off on giving him their only Soma. Instead, he crouches and holds out a Revival Gem, close to Dyaus' jaws.]
no subject
Serph had disappeared from Vatheon weeks earlier and Cielo had held adamantly (and some would say foolishly) clung to his conviction that Serph would return to the city. He is glad to see that he was right.
He's just sorry that their reunion had to be like this.
Cielo considers refusing the Revival Gem Serph offers him. He's fine and this is totally not as bad as it looks-
Yeah, whom is he kidding? He's not fine and it is perhaps a tiny step above as bad as it looks when one accounts for the fact that he can repair his severed wing by reverting. And he's not about to insult his leader by rejecting the offered help.
With more delicacy than one would expect a flesh eating bird demon with large serrated teeth to have, he picks up the gem in his jaws, careful to avoid biting Serph's hand. And similar to a bird gulping down a meal, he lets it drop into a mouth and chews it up before swallowing and putting his head back down on the side of the fountain.
Already, he's starting to feel better.]
no subject
When Cielo had finished swallowing the gem and rested his head back on the fountain, Serph reaches out and gently rests a hand against the side of Dyaus' head, a signal for him to rest. What sort of battle had Cielo just left to be so injured?
He idly runs that hand along Dyaus' head. Yep, Serph sure is petting Cielo right now.]
no subject
But Serph's touch him makes him forget all his questions and he instead makes a rumble of content.
Petting is nice.]

Cielo.
[Gale can't heal the way Cielo can, of course, but he can provide help in other ways.]
Do you need to go to the clinic?
no subject
No.
[This is him getting up and looking rather sad about it.]
no subject
Then, the base. What happened, Cielo?
no subject
I...you...

[As strange as it was, the harsh words are comforting to hear. Sure, there was some...tense relations between Heat and the Tribe, but the fact was that Heat was still a comrade and Cielo still cared about him. Nothing could change that.
Cielo casts another Diarama on himself.]
no subject
Come on, get out of there. ( he leans down to get a grip on the remaining wing-arm thing to give it a tug -- not too harsh, mind you... ) What the hell have you been doing? Where were you?
