What was with this place? Selphie knew the pattern of comings and goings well enough. But this time, it was too much. One of her best friends had gone home, and the other was fast asleep, with no sign of waking up any time soon.
Suddenly, Selphie feels quite abandoned.
And this, after a week of a curse that was fake. That time she could get over it, especially with Rinoa's help. She'd been haunted by images of Squall and Rinoa leaving her, and was so frightened of being alone. Now, she really is alone.
Selphie's sitting in the plaza with her acoustic guitar on her knee. She's not really singing, just quietly humming along to the soft melody that she's strumming on the instrument. She's not half bad, actually, and she's likely to sit there playing for some time.
