Who: Zelos and Duke Where: Forest quadrant, Duke's tent When: Wed, May 2nd, morning Style: [action] Status: Closed
[Zelos had once proclaimed the bubble to be full of prudes and virgins but after a conversation with Estelle, he'd decided to amend the statement. He'd been wrong. There was another type of person here.
There were mass murderers here.
Mithos notwithstanding (he was trying to handle that on his own), Estelle had shared some information regarding Duke. Regarding how he'd nearly wiped out every Human on their world. And now he's getting friendly with Zelda.
Fuck that.
It doesn't help that Zelos is still barely keeping afloat from the myriad of emotional traumas this past curse and days before it had dredged up. Their world in chaos even after being reunified, two years later to two thousand years later. Kratos and Mithos in the bubble. Having to tell Lloyd about his mother, having to endure the memories of his own, having Zelda meddle. Even in his dreams, his memories, always meddling. He can't take it anymore, he's afraid he might break. That all the carefully bottled up issues are starting to crack free and threaten to drown him. His rage is like a ship in that torrent, heading on a course straight for Duke's tent.
He's aware he's a hypocrite, aware that seeking out someone with that sort of power for the soul purpose of screaming at them is more than halfway to idiotic. He's also aware he doesn't really care.
When death isn't permanent, people have a lot more leeway to make stupid decisions.]
DUKE you effeminate bastard! Get out here!

Characters: Ky Kiske and Dizzy Location: Middle District Time: Early Evening Style: Prose? Status: Closed
For all the Dizzy seemed to be doing well here -- as well as could be expected, at least, with this place constantly playing with their minds -- Ky certainly understood that the people here weren't all that much like who they had known before, and that even just having a familiar face around could help with this place. Besides, it was Dizzy, and Ky would happily help her however he could.
He couldn't claim entirely selfless motives for inviting her out to dinner. He did enjoy her company quite a lot and her view of the world was always refreshing to be around. Still, he was okay with it being mutually beneficial as long as it was that, so he stood outside the restaurant, waiting for her. |

Characters: Ky Kiske and Johnny Rayflo Location: Forest Time: Evening Style: Prose? Status: Closed
Ky offered to spar with Johnny almost entirely for the vampire's sake. While he had no doubts that he could use the practice himself -- after all, more practice never hurt -- he had been sparring with other people since coming to Vatheon to stay in form and to take advantage of what different techniques had to offer.
He also had plenty of other ways to stay busy, and it seemed to be that which Johnny was missing. It was better not to let fears or nightmares eat them alive, and the trick to that was to keep moving, keep focusing on other things.
With the specific dream of Johnny's that Ky had seen it seemed even more important that Ky make room in his schedule to spar with Johnny, and he'd informed the Defense Force patrol for the forest that this was planned, and then invited Johnny to join him in a clearing. |
