[Since refusing to go to the masquerade, Vegeta has been banned from his gravity room until he goes out and "has some fun". No amount of protesting that training is his idea of fun has restored his access. Training in the living room is not the same, though it was satisfying to see the look on Bulma's face when he made the entire room smell like a dirty gym bag.

Until she sprayed him with perfume.

It's been a few days and he's finally antsy enough that he's just conceding to the damn woman. He walks up to the first person he sees, looking intense.]

[It's been a long time since Serph's disappearance. Maybe it seemed like he wasn't going to be coming back to Vatheon.

But if you happen to be passing through the Plaza, there's someone appearing out of thin air and... falling into one of the fountains with a great splash. If you're curious enough to look at the water, it's gaining a reddish tinge.

...Yeah, that's blood mixing with the water.

But wait long enough, and there's a guy pulling himself out of the fountain, looking like a drowned rat. There's a break in his abdominal armour. But while there are some stubborn bits of blood at the break's edges, there's no wound in the flesh underneath; the skin is unmarked, like it had been healed perfectly.

Serph's back. And he's alive.

...And totally dripping water all over the Plaza again.]

[Today finds Aizen out of his comfortable apartment of the Ordo neighborhood, taking a stroll to the Patchwork Laboratory. Almost two weeks after his first encounter with Szayel, it was more than time for him to visit the Arrancar's home and see what he was up to.

Standing in front of the door, Aizen gives a soft impulse to his spiritual pressure, raising it just enough for Szayel to notice his presence. And he better not let his master wait.]
