If anyone actually wanders up there, they will find the whole village decorated with strings of light, fish shaped lanterns, streamers, and kelp. Just past the North edge of the Village was a fair.

There was a large stage in the center of the fair, rides, a fortune teller, contests, games, a petting zoo, a fish exhibit, stalls, booths and everything else you can find at a fair.

Food & Drink

Close to the stage at the center of the fair were all of the food booths. The food will consist of everything you could imagine being deep-fried. Fish? Check. Squid? Double check. Cookie dough? Bread? Doughnuts? Meat? Ice cream? Soda? Bugs? All way covered. You can find octopus shaped hotdogs and pizza (with the option of fish on it) if you don’t feel like completely clogging your arteries.

There is a rather large slushy machine with every flavor and a mystery black flavor. Soda, cotton candy,
and ice cream could also be found.
Rows of tables with umbrellas and benches could be found surrounding both food carts and the stage.

Once he was done riding the rides, Fai decided to help himself to a number of the tasty treats that were unique to the festival. He moved from booth to booth, checking out the various items and determining which ones he wanted to sample. Some things didn't look particularly appetizing to the vampire..particularly deep friend squid. Fai could be adventurous in his food tasting but even he had limits.

At the moment he was going to enjoy a slushy. He plopped down on a nearby bench and stretched his legs out to watch the people passing by while enjoying the cool drink.

The deep fried squid was a maybe on this reaper's list. It pays to be dead -- no arteries to clog up. But he catches sight of Fai wandering about. He's seen him at the host club one or two times and decides that now is as good a time as any to try and make friends with his co-workers.

"Had a mind to try that mystery flavor yet?" he asks as he comes over, arms folded behind his back.

Fai looked over when a voice spoke to him and smiled bright at his fellow host. Even though they hadn't interacted, Fai made sure to at least meet everyone who worked there so he was vaguely familiar with Ronald. It was good to see that the other host had decided to come out and enjoy the festival.

"I haven't yet but it is certainly on the list. It's fun to be adventuresome at times like these, right? And who knows! It might be tasty and if I didn't try it then I would certainly miss out."

"It's all about the experience if you ask me. 'Course, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be squid ink."

He was never one to turn down a party and in Ronald's fair opinion, Vatheon threw the best. It wasn't the typical pub-booze-and-ladies affairs he was used to but it was diverse and interesting. A good change of pace in his opinion. He's nibbling on a piece of octopus tentacle himself when he comes over.

"D'you mind?" he asks, motioning to the bench.

[ Gumball cruises by the food and drink area and notes the fun looking cotton candy.

Party hat indeed..

He official dons him now his gay apparel and is 100% more ready to join the party. ]

[Leo hadn't yet met Gumball in person, but he'd found the guy interesting enough in the network conversations. So when he sees him standing around in a silly party hat, he approaches.]

'Sup, dude? You look like you're raring to go.

[ He recognizes Leo from the starfish communicator and greets him with the formality of a royal but the enthusiasm of a friend. ]

Good day, Leo! It's a great day for a festival, isn't it? It's about time we celebrated Sunday.

Yeah, sure is. This is totally the best Sunday we've had since I arrived. [He's not going to inform Gumball that they're not celebrating Sunday. He seems to excited about that and Leo was anything but a buzzkill.]

On Friday, after the Chocobo Race, Saber decides to finally get a good look around the festival as she's only been in certain areas and has kind of rushed her visits.

Before the games and contests catch her eye again, the food booths do. It doesn't really matter what type of food it is, and as long as it's cooked well.. Saber is happy. So, for the majority of Friday, Saber can be found in the food booths area, with something always in her hand ready to eat.

Although he's tried the games and spent a significant amount of time at the arcade, the main draw for Laharl is naturally the food. He isn't picky, especially when it comes to foods that are considered unhealthy, and his appetite is substantial.

When he almost literally bumps into Saber, he's got one of those gigantic black slushies in one hand and what might be a fried octopus on a stick in the other. Instead of snapping at her to watch where she's going, he blinks and actually offers a greeting, albeit a short one and with his mouth full.

"Oh, hey."

Currently, Saber has ..something covered in chocolate on a stick. She doesn't even know what it is, but she's wondering if it can even be seafood.

"Greetings, Overlord Laharl. Are you enjoying yourself?"

A brief smile. It's nice to see the boy, again. She'll have to ask him how his new residence is, if he's not in a hurry.

[ Annabeth wanders back through the food area from the contest area with an entire wing of Prince Gumball's castle cake on her plate. How on earth was she going to eat all this? Then she spots the gallant knight Saber in amongst the food stalls and quickly approached her. ]

Saber, hi! You don't happen to like honey cake filled with real cream, do you? I can't possibly eat all of this on my own...

[ Saber was about to refill her left hand with another item, but she turns to Annabeth as soon as she hears the girl start to speak.

There's a slight tilt of the knight's head (as the piece of cake is quite large), and then she nods. ]

I have no reason not to like it. Would you like to sit and we can chat while we eat? [ She gestures towards one of the nearby picnic tables. ]

[Festival food is kind of a novelty, even with the amount of time Dirk's spent here in Vatheon. Deep-fried squid tentacles are certainly not something he's had the chance to eat before. Which is why he's grabbed up a couple sticks, and is working his way through those, bite by bite.]

The food selection here was like something out of Mr. D's uncle's (pardon the pun) wet dream. However, honestly, it provided Mr. D with a minor source of amusement. Food cooking wasn't the same as offerings, and spilled drinks weren't libations... but for now, it was enough to watch the humans (and a few obvious non-humans) enjoying themselves.

Mr. D sipped a Diet Coke as he walked, looking perfectly miserable despite his hint of interest, and pined for a "real" drink.

Annabeth's attempting to find something other than a cream-filled castle turret to eat when she lays eyes on possibly the last person she'd expected to see here in Vatheon.

Truly - apart from Hades or or her own Mother, Mr D is the most unexpected guest she can think of in this place. Given that he's here at the welcome festival he must have only just arrived too.

She almost turns around and walks right away but unfortunately she's stood there for too long, mouth agape, and he's seen her already. Plus really, it's courtesy to help someone she knows to get settled here.

Oh look. It was the Cabin #6 girl who Mr. D had known for years and probably even knew her real name by now. Even in this weird pocket of what was surely Tartaros designed just to personally torture the wine god, Mr. D couldn't be rid of them. More would likely turn up as he explored. They always did.

Oh well, at least this one annoyed him slightly less than the rest of that lot. He leveled a Look at her and took another sip of his Diet Coke. Her initial flight response pleased him, and actually took a little off of his edge.

"Annie Bell. And why are you not at the Camp?" He didn't sound angry. He sounded bored.

[Hunger gets to everyone sooner or later, and the smells coming from the food court eventually pull the wiry, bushy-haired Pokemon enthusiast over in that direction.

Arriving there, though, left him at a lost. He didn't know what half these foods were, and the other half just looked revolting to him. He had a rule of not being picky when there weren't any other options (because if he had it his way he wouldn't ever eat meat, and there wasn't much else he actually liked) but this...

One might find him, staring at the food choices with a scowl, looking very concerned about what was being offered.]

[ She saw him move over to the food and she followed him, peering at what he was looking at from behind his tall form. ]

[Little Fai is just sort of around, his fun being mostly in watching everyone else enjoying themselves. However he is quite happy to see the other there- Fai has grown to think of N as his friend and he hopes that the boy can make more. What friend wouldn't want to make that scowl go away?]

[N looks down at the voice, recognizing Fai. He doesn't look particularly thrilled to see him, but that's an expression that's more directed at the food.]
