◣ Summer Fair ◢

If anyone actually wanders up there, they will find the whole village decorated with strings of light, fish shaped lanterns, streamers, and kelp. Just past the North edge of the Village was a fair.

There was a large stage in the center of the fair, rides, a fortune teller, contests, games, a petting zoo, a fish exhibit, stalls, booths and everything else you can find at a fair.

Laharl grimaces. "Don't remind me. Everyone says time's stopped back there, but if it's not, I'm sure Etna's declared me dead and taken my place by now."

At least she'd do a good job, but it'd be a pain taking it back from her.

Time's stopped there.. back home. Saber's heard that too, it's just.. bizarre. Vatheon has been hard to adjust to for the knight.

"Well, it's been an eventful week. I won one contest and nearly another.. and I think I've had my fill. I'll be taking my leave, Laharl."

Saber stands up from the table, stick still in her hand. It's wiped clean, of course. Bowing her upper form briefly, the knight smiles.

Laharl blinks. Honestly, he's not used to people 'taking their leave' of him so much as him dismissing them or pissing them off. But she doesn't seem angry for any reason, and although he hasn't dismissed her, he doesn't mind her leaving. She probably needs time to digest all that pie anyway.

"Yeah, sure. I'll be seeing you."
