◣ Summer Fair ◢

If anyone actually wanders up there, they will find the whole village decorated with strings of light, fish shaped lanterns, streamers, and kelp. Just past the North edge of the Village was a fair.

✗Lanterns on Saturday

There was a large stage in the center of the fair, rides, a fortune teller, contests, games, a petting zoo, a fish exhibit, stalls, booths and everything else you can find at a fair.

"Annabeth. W-why...? Why are you not at camp?" She doesn't say it in an impertinent way, more surprise that they could actually exile a god here as well as your regular everyday demigod.

...although her comment does confirm his suspicions that this is, in fact, his own little pocket of eternal torment. He didn't think he'd insulted Hades so gravely. Not recently, anyway.

"Did you say 'we'?" It really was worse than Mr D could have hoped for. "Not that I care, but how many half-bloods are here?"

Annabeth can't deny that - the gods went where they wanted to. "True. Just... I thought we were out of the gods' reach here."

"Um, yes. Only three of us so far - Percy Jackson, Leo Valdez and myself."

Of course she was here with Perseus Jackson. Why wouldn't she be? It wouldn't be the same torturous existence without him. That she had said 'so far' actually worried him.

His voice was flat. "Luckily for us both, you are not quite so out of reach as you assumed." He summoned a fresh can of Diet Coke and angrily sipped it. "How long have you been in this place?"
