If anyone actually wanders up there, they will find the whole village decorated with strings of light, fish shaped lanterns, streamers, and kelp. Just past the North edge of the Village was a fair.

There was a large stage in the center of the fair, rides, a fortune teller, contests, games, a petting zoo, a fish exhibit, stalls, booths and everything else you can find at a fair.

[Leo hadn't yet met Gumball in person, but he'd found the guy interesting enough in the network conversations. So when he sees him standing around in a silly party hat, he approaches.]

'Sup, dude? You look like you're raring to go.

[ He recognizes Leo from the starfish communicator and greets him with the formality of a royal but the enthusiasm of a friend. ]

Good day, Leo! It's a great day for a festival, isn't it? It's about time we celebrated Sunday.

Yeah, sure is. This is totally the best Sunday we've had since I arrived. [He's not going to inform Gumball that they're not celebrating Sunday. He seems to excited about that and Leo was anything but a buzzkill.]

[ He knows it's not all about Sunday but he just likes to celebrate everything so this is a multi-purpose celebration with many layers and phases. ]

I would have to agree with you on that one. This place does seem to get better the longer you stay.

[He's not sure it's actually getting better, but he is enjoying himself more.]

Considering when I first got here the bubble was broken? Yeah, it's gotten better. Not so sure about the curse being any good, but this kind of makes up for it.

It also helps to know more people, I'm sure. Even though no one I know is here, it's still nice to meet people who are helpful and kind.

[He nods.] There's a lot of cool people here, that's for sure. And in case you didn't already know, you are one of the cool people.

[ Well, that's obvious! He's used to DEFINITELY being one of the cool people back in the Candy Kingdom so he wasn't even questioning his status as Person of Coolness.

Still, it doesn't hurt to be polite. ]

Well, I'm not going to sing it for you and we only just met but we can compromise with super awesome.

Cool. [He puts his fist out for a fistbump though he's unsure if Gumball will know what to do.]

[ Of course he knows! He's seen Fionna and Cake do this bromantic ritual several times before but he's never participated in one himself.

A light and unmanly one because he's unsure. ]

Hm, that wasn't right.

You gotta put more oomph into it, man. Like a nice firm handshake with your fist. [He continues to hold his fist out for Gumball to try again.]

[ He goes in for the bump and then hesitates. ]

I eat more than just burritos, but those are good. Wonder if any of the booths have them.

In the Candy Kingdom, even the dirt is edible. It's a lot different here.

Oh, ok. Anything smelling good to you?

Edible dirt? That's something new.

It all smells delicious to me! This may surprise you but I have a bit of a sweet tooth. [ Shut up, Gumball. ]

It's made of dark chocolate.
