All day the Golden Victory club had been closed, the only people allowed in being the workers and helpers who were setting it up for the night's big event. Finally, at seven, the lights all turn on and the main doors open.

Leading up to the main doors is a red carpet walkway that will lead right into the main room. There, the usual club room is well illuminated with it's large bar at the back wall with plenty of drinks available for everyone. Along the walls, the club's chairs and some new loveseats are placed for anyone who would rather sit and socialize than stand or dance.

At the back, on either side of the large room, there are food tables with a wide selection, certain to please everyone. Along with these food tables are separate dessert tables. On their own table, there are three, large, cakes that anyone is welcome to dig into. (Although, they're just so pretty!)

In a few, strategic, locations there can be found baskets of masks just in case anyone needs one or wants to try and get one on a stubborn friend.

Lighthearted ball music and slow, peaceful songs lend to the atmosphere; loud enough to be heard and danced to, but soft enough that conversation is possible.

The hosts themselves, along with the staff of Temptationis Clementiae, are already there and in costume, as if welcoming their guests in for the festivities.

Ah. So your race has developed culturally around these displays of color, as to orient themselves within society. Quite interesting...I know in India, a country on the planet where I'm from, they have castes based on the color of their skin. The darker you are, the lower you are in society. But this is very unique, even for me. It all surrounds quite a biological basis, such as the difference in heat and blood- things that are very hard to hide, it's true.

Ah, it's a very famous story where I'm from. A boy, Romeo, falls in love with a girl, Juliet, at a masquerade ball, However, it is discovered that the boy and girl are from warring families, and they would be punished or worse if their romance were found out.

I'm not going to spoil the ending, but I can say this- it does not end happily for the two young lovers.

I think I have had that one before, but not with salt. I like eating the green apples a lot. They're tart and still a little sweet at the same time.

[There was a boy who looked close to sixteen hanging by the food table. With his hair and the lighting, he could very well be mistaken for someone else. However he held himself very differently from Sora and his clothes remained free of cookie crumbs. His eyes seemed to be gold, but that could just be the gold around his mask playing on his normal eye color. He was wearing an interesting ensemble of black, red and gold. The outfit was completed with leather pants and boots.
