Overflow for Masq. Ball
Who: Absolutely everyone
What: Masquerade~!
Where: The Golden Victory Club
When: Night of Saturday the 8th
Style: Whatever you want
Status: Open like the club's doors~
All day the Golden Victory club had been closed, the only people allowed in being the workers and helpers who were setting it up for the night's big event. Finally, at seven, the lights all turn on and the main doors open.
Leading up to the main doors is a red carpet walkway that will lead right into the main room. There, the usual club room is well illuminated with it's large bar at the back wall with plenty of drinks available for everyone. Along the walls, the club's chairs and some new loveseats are placed for anyone who would rather sit and socialize than stand or dance.
At the back, on either side of the large room, there are food tables with a wide selection, certain to please everyone. Along with these food tables are separate dessert tables. On their own table, there are three, large, cakes that anyone is welcome to dig into. (Although, they're just so pretty!)
In a few, strategic, locations there can be found baskets of masks just in case anyone needs one or wants to try and get one on a stubborn friend.
Lighthearted ball music and slow, peaceful songs lend to the atmosphere; loud enough to be heard and danced to, but soft enough that conversation is possible.
The hosts themselves, along with the staff of Temptationis Clementiae, are already there and in costume, as if welcoming their guests in for the festivities.
[OOC: Feel free to just make an initial comment with a link to the thread you're continuing here and then thread on your merry way~]

[ Yeah, screw that, he's going to turn and try to leave now. ]

Are you sure you don't want to stay a little? It's not so terrible...

[It's a little tentative, but she holds her hand out. Now he mostly looks irritated, but Zelda is quite certain he needs to have a little fun.
And when she thinks that about someone, they probably seriously need it.]
no subject
Wh-what are you saying?
no subject
[He looks so cute like that! It makes it difficult to believe everything she's been told, even if she knows Zelos wouldn't lie to her about something that serious.]
no subject
[ You're gonna have to drag him, Zelda. ]
no subject
Very well. I won't force you. It is fun, though.
no subject
[ Is he trying to convince her, or himself? ]
no subject
[Just with her. Honestly, Mithos. She'd like to discourage him from trashing on humans, but she's fairly certain that would send him huffing right out the door.]
no subject
... F-fine. If it means so much to you.
no subject
If it has been that long, I do not mind leading.

Zelda arranges her hands properly, starting a simple waltz that's easy to follow along with.]
What sort of dances did you have on Aselia?
no subject
I-I don't know!
[ Okay, he's starting to panic just a bit. He only ever danced when Martel was around, but he never danced again, guilty feet have no rhythm... ]
no subject
I suppose it doesn't really matter. This sort of dance is called a waltz.
[She will deftly keep her toes away from him, going so far as to levitate slightly if he really stumbles. She doesn't let any of it get to her, though. Zelda is generally quite easy to dance with.]
no subject
He didn't answer Zelda's comment about what the dance was called. He was too busy focusing on not screwing up, than he was trying to enjoy the dance. ]
no subject
[Zelda lifts the hem of her skirt just enough to show that her feet aren't touching the ground.]
No risk of strange foot movements that way, hmm?
no subject
[ Instead... he tries his best to predict where she's going. It seems less like he's enjoying himself, and more like he's just trying to make it through this without messing up. ]
no subject
Kratos? That's Lloyd's father, isn't it? Would he really panic about something so small? I would think if you had wings, you would just want to use them to fly for the fun of it.
no subject
[ Because in this form, having his wings out isn't nearly as comment as in his Yggdrasill form. And the last time he did, it was when he beat Zelos within an inch of his life.
He's... he's trying to catch onto the dance. But he's avoiding eye contact with Zelda, for some reason. ]
no subject
It sounds as if he overreacts to a lot of things, then.
[Does she sound annoyed? Just a tad. Zelda's still sore at Kratos for lurking around her house when Lloyd was comatose. Is he allergic to knocking on the door or something? Zelos's flattering descriptions of the man don't help, either.]
no subject
[ He finally looks up at Zelda's face, but he looks out-of-it, and maybe even slightly nervous. It looks like he's at least trying to get the hang of this, now, but it still looks like a far cry from enjoying it. ]
no subject
If it's really not something you enjoy, we can stop, you know. You're doing well, though. Don't be so nervous.
no subject
[ Don't what? Don't give her the wrong idea, Mithos... ]
I-it's the closeness. And the--- the--....
