Overflow for Masq. Ball
Who: Absolutely everyone
What: Masquerade~!
Where: The Golden Victory Club
When: Night of Saturday the 8th
Style: Whatever you want
Status: Open like the club's doors~
All day the Golden Victory club had been closed, the only people allowed in being the workers and helpers who were setting it up for the night's big event. Finally, at seven, the lights all turn on and the main doors open.
Leading up to the main doors is a red carpet walkway that will lead right into the main room. There, the usual club room is well illuminated with it's large bar at the back wall with plenty of drinks available for everyone. Along the walls, the club's chairs and some new loveseats are placed for anyone who would rather sit and socialize than stand or dance.
At the back, on either side of the large room, there are food tables with a wide selection, certain to please everyone. Along with these food tables are separate dessert tables. On their own table, there are three, large, cakes that anyone is welcome to dig into. (Although, they're just so pretty!)
In a few, strategic, locations there can be found baskets of masks just in case anyone needs one or wants to try and get one on a stubborn friend.
Lighthearted ball music and slow, peaceful songs lend to the atmosphere; loud enough to be heard and danced to, but soft enough that conversation is possible.
The hosts themselves, along with the staff of Temptationis Clementiae, are already there and in costume, as if welcoming their guests in for the festivities.
[OOC: Feel free to just make an initial comment with a link to the thread you're continuing here and then thread on your merry way~]

[She'll just be blunt for once.]
The Gerudo are a society comprised only of women for the most part. They take men from other places so that they may continue on their family lines.

[Can he pull the mask back down to hide how red he's got?]
Oh. Um... I guess that's why they wanted to go there, uh... [Distraction, distraction... there.] Look at these fruits! Aren't the shapes interesting?
no subject
It looks like they spent quite some time cutting it into that design! Really, all the food here is so pretty it almost seems like a shame to eat it, but... it will rot eventually if we don't.
no subject
Uh huh - it's kind of funny to spend lots of time making something that people are just going to eat. It must be really fun to do. [He reaches for a few cherries - those, at least, are unadorned and thus he's not eating anyone's handiwork.]
no subject
[Whether he could learn other types of cooking or not is hard to say.]

[And if he's as talented as Link from the sky was at cooking, setting things on fire might just be a problem...]

[She looks sheepish, but she doesn't mind being honest now. She just hadn't wanted to spoil his birthday!]

[Not that the holiday "Christmas" meant much to her. She does at least celebrate the winter solstice, though.]
no subject
Sure! What do they taste like?
no subject
[What a chunk of wood has to do with the season she's not entirely sure, but it had been tasty!]
no subject
[...Oh look, toddlers in the forest... and putting things in his mouth...]
Chocolate sounds better, though! And sweet things.
no subject
You have tasted wood?
[Well, Link can be too curious for his own good...]
I believe they make it look like wood to represent a Christmas Tree. I am still not entirely sure what the tree itself is used for, but they do look pretty.
no subject
[Eheheh. Moving on.] What's a Christmas tree? I haven't seen anything like that in the forest, and I know most of them. Unless it has a different name.
[Please don't tell him they chop down a living tree to decorate.]
no subject
[She smiles at him again. He'll be around for Christmas this year...]
You'll be able to see it for yourself come December.
no subject
[He smiles fondly at the memory - he had enjoyed those celebrations.]
It sounds like fun!

[And then Izaya had gotten her something. It was a little awkward to say the least.]
no subject
Should we do something for it? What do you do for it, aside from giving gifts and decorating a tree?
