All day the Golden Victory club had been closed, the only people allowed in being the workers and helpers who were setting it up for the night's big event. Finally, at seven, the lights all turn on and the main doors open.

Leading up to the main doors is a red carpet walkway that will lead right into the main room. There, the usual club room is well illuminated with it's large bar at the back wall with plenty of drinks available for everyone. Along the walls, the club's chairs and some new loveseats are placed for anyone who would rather sit and socialize than stand or dance.

At the back, on either side of the large room, there are food tables with a wide selection, certain to please everyone. Along with these food tables are separate dessert tables. On their own table, there are three, large, cakes that anyone is welcome to dig into. (Although, they're just so pretty!)

In a few, strategic, locations there can be found baskets of masks just in case anyone needs one or wants to try and get one on a stubborn friend.

Lighthearted ball music and slow, peaceful songs lend to the atmosphere; loud enough to be heard and danced to, but soft enough that conversation is possible.

The hosts themselves, along with the staff of Temptationis Clementiae, are already there and in costume, as if welcoming their guests in for the festivities.

Wait, did you make a modus or a whole sylladex?

[This is an important question- if he can make a sylladex Fai will most certainly be asking for one later. It seems a very handy thing to have, especially once he starts raiding the library.]

[Because he figures Darkleer can come up with way better ideas than he can.]

Yes, I understand how to use it a lot better now.

[He nods again, smiling up at the troll. Slowly Fai is growing more accustomed to all these acts of generosity from others, namely Darkleer and Johnny. If anything his appreciation for each of them is greater for how uncommon they used to be to him. And now he's got a sylladex to look forward to playing with.]

That's good to hear. It's really a rather simple design, but I understand that different worlds have come along differently in regards to technology. It's rather interesting to observe, really.

[A small shrug at the thank you and he runs a hand through his hair.]

I think it's interesting too. My world relied more on magic than technology. Things were very different there than they are here, but that just gives me more to learn about.

I have actually heard a lot about magic, but I am afraid my experience with it is near to nonexistent. Did you deal much with it?

[He shakes his head, suddenly becoming rather downcast. Everybody in his world was far too afraid of what he could do with any information regarding magic to give him even a scrap.]

You'd have to ask Yuui. I wasn't allowed to study it, but he might have after we were split up.

I did. He seemed to be having something of a night, however. I could tell he likes that you were speaking with others, however.

Fai's starting to wonder why Yuui didn't tell him that he'd met one of the few people he considers a friend. Did something happen? Darkleer said that he liked his brother, however, so it couldn't be anything too terrible... right?]

We didn't get to talk to many people at home. It's hard to do sometimes but I know he'd like it if I made more friends.

Take your time with it. There is no reason to rush relations with other people.

[After a second of hesitation, he pats Fai's shoulder.]

Your best allies will find their way to you, sometimes even when you are not looking.

[That cautious touch is rewarded with a wide grin. He's really glad he pushed himself and came to the party tonight. There's only one thing he can think to say, even if Darkleer downplays it again.]
