All day the Golden Victory club had been closed, the only people allowed in being the workers and helpers who were setting it up for the night's big event. Finally, at seven, the lights all turn on and the main doors open.

Leading up to the main doors is a red carpet walkway that will lead right into the main room. There, the usual club room is well illuminated with it's large bar at the back wall with plenty of drinks available for everyone. Along the walls, the club's chairs and some new loveseats are placed for anyone who would rather sit and socialize than stand or dance.

At the back, on either side of the large room, there are food tables with a wide selection, certain to please everyone. Along with these food tables are separate dessert tables. On their own table, there are three, large, cakes that anyone is welcome to dig into. (Although, they're just so pretty!)

In a few, strategic, locations there can be found baskets of masks just in case anyone needs one or wants to try and get one on a stubborn friend.

Lighthearted ball music and slow, peaceful songs lend to the atmosphere; loud enough to be heard and danced to, but soft enough that conversation is possible.

The hosts themselves, along with the staff of Temptationis Clementiae, are already there and in costume, as if welcoming their guests in for the festivities.

[He's quite pleased that she's so happy. Though she's smaller, the gentle curve of her horns and the shape of her face, the delicate, aristocratic arch of her fins... everything about her reminds him of someone in particular. Yet there are aspects of her that are so much better, since he can be mostly at ease with her. Aspects that aren't as good, either, but for now he's in the habit of suppressing those feelings.]

It's my pleasure to dance wwith you, Feferi. I'vve had to learn to be good at it, givven my position and my aspirations in life.

[ Humming in acknowledgement, Feferi lets the conversation taper off at that note, for once not wanting to gab. It takes a lot of her concentration to remember the steps, and the rest of her attention goes towards just kind of basking in the warm and fuzzy feelings. She trips a few times, trying to take strides that are too big for her, just to keep up with him. ]

[Hmm, this is getting to be a little awkward. Finally he shakes his head]

Wwait, this isn't wworkin'. [And then a smile] Do you trust me, Feferi?

Huh?

[ She looks a little surprised, but nods all the same. ]

Yes! Of course I trust you.

[He smiles, and slips his hands around her waist. His fingers nearly meet at the small of her back, though his thumbs are in front on either side. In a moment, he's lifted her and brought her closer, then settles her to stand on his own feet]

Stay close, princess.

[He slides his arms fully around her again, beginning to move to the music once more. Is it scandalously close? Or is this just a youngster dancing with a much taller and older man in an innocent manner, like with a favourite uncle?]

Eee!

[ She squeals in delight, and wraps her arms around his waist to keep from falling backwards. ]

Well, this is more efficient!

[He's so glad she does that. Chuckling softly, he moves a bit faster, gliding across the dance floor in time to the music]

Ah yes, far better.

[ Laughing some more, Feferi rests her head on his chest so that they can dance the rest of the song away. Good Orphaner, best trolldad. ]
