Overflow for Masq. Ball

Who: Absolutely everyone
What: Masquerade~!
Where: The Golden Victory Club
When: Night of Saturday the 8th
Style: Whatever you want
Status: Open like the club's doors~

All day the Golden Victory club had been closed, the only people allowed in being the workers and helpers who were setting it up for the night's big event. Finally, at seven, the lights all turn on and the main doors open.

Leading up to the main doors is a red carpet walkway that will lead right into the main room. There, the usual club room is well illuminated with it's large bar at the back wall with plenty of drinks available for everyone. Along the walls, the club's chairs and some new loveseats are placed for anyone who would rather sit and socialize than stand or dance.

At the back, on either side of the large room, there are food tables with a wide selection, certain to please everyone. Along with these food tables are separate dessert tables. On their own table, there are three, large, cakes that anyone is welcome to dig into. (Although, they're just so pretty!)

In a few, strategic, locations there can be found baskets of masks just in case anyone needs one or wants to try and get one on a stubborn friend.

Lighthearted ball music and slow, peaceful songs lend to the atmosphere; loud enough to be heard and danced to, but soft enough that conversation is possible.

The hosts themselves, along with the staff of Temptationis Clementiae, are already there and in costume, as if welcoming their guests in for the festivities.

No one is. Does someone have to be in charge? Death is a journey like anything else, they will find their way eventually - or someone will help them.

[Any reaper in Hyrule would have quite a time of it. Ghosts that don't move on tend to require specific puzzles to be finished to accomplish just that. It's a strange world.]
diehardreaper: ([huh] ◄ My style is too real)

[personal profile] diehardreaper 2012-09-17 12:37 pm (UTC)(link)
No, sorry, didn't mean to be difficult. S'just a bit of something that I need to wrap my brain around. A world with no reapers. Cor...

[ That's pretty much a novel concept for him, that death doesn't work the same way in all worlds. ]

You ever helped anyone out?
zelda_hylia: (regrets)

[personal profile] zelda_hylia 2012-09-18 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
I have.

[So many souls filled with regret inhabited what was once the capital of Hyrule. She'd played the Song of Healing for them, but she wasn't sure the area would ever recover...]
diehardreaper: ([heh] ☼ So the best advice)

[ And he can tell from that. He can just tell. ]

You're a good sort, Zelda.

[ Have a smile as he raises his drink to her. ]

Here's to you then... and if you wouldn't mind my saying... the start of a beautiful friendship?
zelda_hylia: Of course! (Of course!)

[personal profile] zelda_hylia 2012-09-19 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
[Since she doesn't have a drink, Zelda simply curtsies politely.]

Certainly. You're quite inquisitive, I think we should get along just fine.

[She's always a fan of people who ask questions!]
diehardreaper: ([♥] ◄ Even scent grabbers)

[personal profile] diehardreaper 2012-09-20 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
And you're a smart bird. I think we will.

[ A grin back as he returns that curtsy with a tip of his hat. ]

Thanks for helping me out first few days in, by the way.
zelda_hylia: Curious (Curious)

Of course! I'm always happy to share information. We're not going to make much progress here if everyone has to start from scratch, after all.

[She tilts her head to the side.]

If you don't mind me saying, your dialect is a bit... odd.
diehardreaper: ([!!] | And the party won't stop)

[personal profile] diehardreaper 2012-09-21 02:16 pm (UTC)(link)
S'good thing, too. We'd prolly be groping around if it wasn't for you lot.

[ A pause, looking back at her. ]

Is it? Wager it isn't heard in your world. Fancy you wouldn't know where London is, would you? S'pretty common 'round those parts.
