All day the Golden Victory club had been closed, the only people allowed in being the workers and helpers who were setting it up for the night's big event. Finally, at seven, the lights all turn on and the main doors open.

Leading up to the main doors is a red carpet walkway that will lead right into the main room. There, the usual club room is well illuminated with it's large bar at the back wall with plenty of drinks available for everyone. Along the walls, the club's chairs and some new loveseats are placed for anyone who would rather sit and socialize than stand or dance.

At the back, on either side of the large room, there are food tables with a wide selection, certain to please everyone. Along with these food tables are separate dessert tables. On their own table, there are three, large, cakes that anyone is welcome to dig into. (Although, they're just so pretty!)

In a few, strategic, locations there can be found baskets of masks just in case anyone needs one or wants to try and get one on a stubborn friend.

Lighthearted ball music and slow, peaceful songs lend to the atmosphere; loud enough to be heard and danced to, but soft enough that conversation is possible.

The hosts themselves, along with the staff of Temptationis Clementiae, are already there and in costume, as if welcoming their guests in for the festivities.

[Ah-- food. At that, Argilla shakes her head, because she remembers there's more stuff she wanted to try!]

No, I'll come with you.

[All right, they can pick out some food together then! Cielo grabs a plate when they reach the tables.

[Everything...!

No seriously. But okay, she grabs a plate, too, and she starts piling things on. She'd been avoiding the meat before, since she found eating other stuff like fruits and vegetables to be quite pleasant, compared to the demons she's used to.

But this time, she'll try a bit of the meat, too...

Oh! And at the end of the table with the desserts, there are brownies.]

[Meanwhile, Cielo has gotten himself some grapes, cookies, and those funny little tiny sandwiches.]

What are they?

[He makes his way over to them and takes two for himself.]

Brownies.

[...She takes two herself, after seeing Cielo do the same.]

They're sweet. And I believe she said these were the plain chocolate kind.

[Oh, he sees. They're called brownies because they are brown, right?]

So what other kinds are there?

[He's just going to casually chomp on one of them.]

[She watches for his reaction, much like Rinoa had done. She'd assumed the same thing about why they were called such, but she hadn't thought to ask about other kinds...]

I'm not sure. But she told me some have nuts in them.

[Hmm. Sweet, and it has that interesting texture that all baked goods have. The rest of the brownie gets consumed in another bite.]

I wonder what those taste like.

[An impressive bite, but she'd expect nothing less from Cielo. And it's true, she's begun to notice that baked goods have that texture in common. Cakes, too...

She'll have to try more of them. Other brownies included.]
