so about that flyer...
[ there's a bit of a commotion tonight, and many locals are talking about something happening up on the island. anyone curious enough to check it out would first notice a glowing shore to match a starry sky; it seems to be a type of jellyfish causing this.
immediately afterward they would undoubtedly see a very large boat having apparently docked itself on the shore. there's no captain in sight and it appears to be completely inoperable, so it's a full-blown mystery on how it arrived on the shore. it certainly doesn't look like a normal boat though— probably due to the fact that it is utterly decked out for a party.
there are streamers, balloons, and a whole lot of glitter on deck. there's even a large banner that reads:
on deck there are speakers blasting a nautical-style party music should dancing be your thing. nearby there's plenty of good food for the eating, along with a gratuitous amount of chapagne (with a non-alcoholic brand for the underage); a champagne tower can also be seen. party games are encouraged, and a few are even already set up (such as the large whale-themed piñata).
have fun, mingle, and enjoy the party! ]

I'm glad you agree, the crowds are becoming a bit much for me. By the way... do you know why I think we might be like a fire suppression system?

Somewhere back there she dropped her drink and thought nothing of it, eyes stuck on Kanaya.]
What? Why?
no subject
[Kanaya moved quickly after that line, holding out her own untouched glass of champagne. If she's been judging the situation correctly Vriska will probably need it.]
Would you like this? I forgot that I never drink... Wine.
no subject
[She takes it without thinking, almost completely focused on Kanaya at the moment. She only briefly looks at the glass again.]
Oh, uh... Sure? [She chugs it down, repressing a small cough as she does so. While the taste was horrible the warm fuzzy feelings that came after were somewhat enjoyable.] What can you drink?
no subject
[They're below the deck now, inside the ship in some barely lit and thankfully abandoned hallway. Kanaya provides more than enough light for the two of them to avoid tripping on bulkheads or hitting their heads of pipes.]
Well... There's not much at all that I can eat or drink now. Just one thing. Would you like me to show you?
[Kanaya starts moving awfully close to Vriska, closing the distance so slowly...]
no subject
She snaps her eyes back to the glowing troll when she asks her a question. There is a brief hesitation from her before she answers.]
I guess, yeah- Sure. Kanaya? [Instinctively she takes one step back when Kanaya starts to approach her.]

2/3
3/3
[Kanaya pulls hard on Vriska, driving into her in to a forceful embrace. As she presses her lips tight against her, Kanaya wraps her hands behind the other troll, one held against her back, the other in her thick tangle of hair. Half a lifetime passes before she breaks the kiss and she finally gives in. She immediately bites into Vriska's shoulder, breaking the skin. There's a sharp moment of pain that is swiftly followed by an odd sense of euphoria, a warm consuming pleasure radiating out from the wound.]

Vriska didn't handle lack of control well. It was like being out at sea without a life vest to keep her head above water. Drowning was the word. This entire situation was drowning her and her first instinct was to panic. Her second was to try and regain control over the situation.
So when Kanaya advances on her and drags her into a kiss her mind bluescreens. If it were any other troll she would have ripped out their intestines and choked them, but this was Kanaya.
Kanaya was Kanaya...
By the time she comes back around Kanaya is already breaking their kiss and biting into her neck. She can't help the gasp at the sharp sting of fangs in her skin, but goosebumps raise over her skin when the pleasurable sensations follow soon after the stinging. Her hands move up to grasp at Kanaya's shoulders, fingers pressing into her skin. Her chest shuddered as she tried to regain control over her thoughts.]

[And she buries her face into Vriska's other shoulder as she begins to cry.]
no subject
Her limbs felt limp and if her knees weren't already locked she would probably be swaying on her feet, not from blood loss but... from something at least. She certainly wouldn't have objected to a chair.
Feeling Kanaya pull away Vriska only managed to catch a glimpse of her expression before her eyes welled up and pushed her face into her shoulder to cry. She only blinked, mouth slightly agape at what the fuck was going on before she carefully, uncertainly, set her hands on the poor troll's back.]
Kanaya...?
no subject
[Kanaya struggles to speak. She's overcome with conflicting emotions, but most prevalent is a hatred for what she just did. It doesn't help at all that her thinking has been muddied almost immediately, the alcohol in the bloodstream affecting her in a way she didn't expect. Her thirst was satiated, her mind no longer feeling the forceful shove of hunger. ]
I'm sorry. [Long, gasping sobs combined with the haze of alcohol to prevent her normal eloquence from expressing itself.] I'm so fucking sorry. I.. I didn't, shouldn't...
[She holds tightly onto Vriska, as if she was the only secure anchor in a world that was suddenly flowing madly around.]
no subject
It could have been worse! You don't need to cry...
no subject
[She hasn't let go of Vriska yet, but she's mostly stopped crying. The tears are streaking her makeup, leaving black trails on her glowing skin. ]
It's the blood... the feeding. I couldn't control it and I just bit you without asking or explaining...
[ she looks into Vriska's eyes, her expression not merely annoyed or upset, but afraid]
