If anyone actually wanders up there, they will find the whole village decorated with strings of light, fish shaped lanterns, streamers, and kelp. Just past the North edge of the Village was a fair.

There was a large stage in the center of the fair, rides, a fortune teller, contests, games, a petting zoo, a fish exhibit, stalls, booths and everything else you can find at a fair.

Auction Time!

(ooc: The host club will take the stage on Monday. Characters have to use silver sand dollars for bidding. The exchange is one starfish token for a silver sand dollar. They can be won through arcade games or as a prize, but you’ll receive a complimentary coin purse to carry them in from the host club booth.

Characters can only use 200 silver sand dollars total for bidding. Please do not try to kiss or touch any of the hosts in any way that makes them uncomfortable.

Angelo will be auctioning off all the club members before auctioning himself.

Note: Those who are up for auction will tag in here. Angelo may thread jack to auction off the prize.

[Everything's set up, everyone's in place (or mostly), so it's time to get this thing started! Peony, from this point, leaves everything in Angelo's capable hands, since the other man's taking over from here on out!]

[Now taking the stage, Angelo is ready to get this show on the road. He preps himself then gets out on the stage. In keeping with the theme, he's clad in a costume focused on that of a pink flamingo. Covered in bright pinks, whites, and blacks. He's donning a feathered headdress that is very pink.]

Welcome everyone to this most glorious of events! We of the Golden Victory Host Club are proud to be putting this on for you and thank you kindly for your participation. As you can see, we have many a lovely host for you to bid on. So then, let us start the bidding!

Angelo

[Naturally the best man gets to be last, so for all the ladies who wish to bid on him. Now he'll make himself look the best.]

Seeing as many of our other hosts have been auctioned as it is, we've come to the best for last everyone! That's right, the amazing and glorious Angelo is up for bids! The bidding shall begin at 20 silver sand dollars, now do I hear 20 for this fine specimen of a man?

[Marceline casually waves from the little crowd.]

Looking good, Angelo. Sorry I haven't shown up for any of your little shindigs, but this outta make up for it, am I right?

Duke

[ Guess who is not enthusiastic about this?

Duke, right here, who happens to be dressed in bright colors with the intent to bring to mind an equally bright bird. There's definitely some trailing ends going on and his hair has been braided with some interesting colors to it but...

He would rather be reading... ]

[Roxas is not at all as brightly dressed as the other hosts, his outfit being patterned after a black jaguar. Apparently to make up for a lot of dark colors in the warm weather, the outfit leaves much of his chest and shoulders bare. Oops.

He'd be a little more comfortable with this if it weren't for the costume, but even so he has no idea what to say.

It may look a lot like stage fright actually.]

[Saix had just meant to pass by because [i]really[/i], but even has has to do a double take when he spots that familiar swirl of blond hair. Well. This certainly isn't what he was expecting coming to explore this little event.]

I'm sure that despite all your misgivings towards the Organization, even you should realize we never decided to humiliate you in such a way.

[ He's actually looking pretty happy about the whole thing. His outfit's more reminiscent of a jungle cat, if anything. Complete with tail. ]

Roll up then, as on the block we've one - and only for one night mind - reaper who could either offer salvation from death or a little death of your own.

[A casual wolf whistle- no seriously, she briefly transformed her head into something vaguely approximating a wolf for that. A horrible terrifying looking thing, but a wolf nonetheless. She's back to a cute vampire girl in a flash.]

I'll put down twenty for you. [She laughs a little bit.] What Vampire Queen couldn't use a reaper?

[She casually leans on the edge of the stage, looking up at him.]

Thinking of trying to win all of you by the end of the night. What're my chances, do you think?

Cloud

[ Cloud's not really sure how he ended up here. His outfit had been focused primarily on a rather colorful butterfly, with bright reds and oranges. Not exactly his usual montage. And now he's being auctioned off.

For a date, apparently.

Zack was going to get hit. He sighs slightly, and hopes that maybe if he doesn't say anything, he can get out of this one easy. ]

[Tifa's overheard enough of the announcements from a nearby stand to understand the gist of what's going on, and she doesn't intend to join in. It seems so degrading.

But then she happens to glance over during a lull in the bidding, just to see if it's finished, and-- is that Cloud?

She has to come closer to make sure, an expression of complete bafflement on her face. It is Cloud. When did he join the host club? And what on earth is he wearing?]

Cloud...?

[Nope, sorry Cloud, easy is not a thing for you today. Someone is actually interested in bidding.]

Fai D. Flourite

[This was a particularly fun event for Fai. He wasn't really a competitive sort and he really wasn't sure who would want to win a date with a rather enthusiastic vampire..but it didn't matter! He got to be on stage and have a little fun.]

Let's have lots of fun at the festival together~!

[Fai might have noticed that Marceline's been putting a bid on everyone, because why not. She floats up a little to offer him a high five.]

Serph

[Serph had been under the impression that the purpose of the auction was to make friends, thanks to some misleading from Angelo.

Having seen other bids before him, Serph is 100% done certain that isn't actually the purpose of the auction. But Angelo won't let him leave, and Serph isn't angry enough to not care about the ruckus it would cause. Serph isn't comfortable with this, but he's not letting it show.

That said, he isn't exactly getting into this either; his expression is not much different from his usual :| ]

[Although Angelo was participating himself, it didn't mean he wasn't allowed to bid. Thus, he places down a bid of 30 silver for Serph. A small smirk curling around his lips.]

I see you're enjoying yourself, Serph.

Rin

[How in the hell did he get talked in to this? How in the hell did Angelo keep talking him in to any of these things? He was a cook, for fuck's sake! Not a host! Yet ever since Angelo had taken over under Peony, it was like he was being shoved more and more in to host activities.

He liked his job, but he was starting to wonder...

Still, he couldn't back out now. That would be cowardly, right? And he was comfortable in his relationship with Kid and Maka. Doing something like making dinner for a random customer and spending an evening with them didn't constitute any sort of infidelity, especially if it was for his job. Kid was just as in it as he was.

So Rin was there, dressed in something more subdued than the bright colors that others had been wearing, closer to a blue bird with black accents. He looked nice, at least, and Kid had helped groom him so that he looked less like a perpetual-bed head slob.

Didn't make him any happier to be there.]

Look, I'm doin' this cause my boss told me to. 'least I can do is be honest 'bout that. But I'm a damn good chef and I'm willin' to make whoever gets this a nice dinner and hang out or whatever.

... yeah so, bid I guess.

[And here we have the rare tiny emperor, dressed in a sort of teal and black indicative of a certain (ironically poisonous) breed of small frog. He's uncertain about all this as well, but people seemed to be having fun with the bidding. That was important, right?]

Ah... I apologize, I'm not really sure what to say, but I thank anyone for their consideration.

[And he's going to give a regal bow to the crowd before the bidding begins.]

[Marceline has a nose for these things. It doesn't help that she's technically a queen herself]

Maaaybe I'll go higher if someone else bids, but that's later. For now, twenty's good, right?

Peony : D

[Peony doesn't have a shred of dignity to lose at this--it isn't in danger at all! What this might or might not mean is up for debate, but it's pretty safe to assume that his dignity just has this permanent invisible barrier up, or that this isn't undignified at all. It's for fun! And as such, when he steps up? It's to completely show off, turning to display the multiple lightweight layers, the topmost layer a bright and iridescent blue, the bottommost black layer trailing at the back an inch, the layer in between is all ambery-orange feathers, and the almost ridiculously long black ribbon in his hair. All meant to call to mind a certain kind of bird. It's probably on the "too much" side of things, but it manages to work remarkably well on him.]

[Fortunately, Marceline likes 'too much', and as Peony comes out, she ends up laughing. It's not necessarily a bad laugh. It's half "oh my glop are you kidding me" and half positively delighted. After she wipes the tear from her eyes, then she raises a hand.]

I'm game for twenty. [A wink to Peony just for kicks.] If I get you with that, it's a pretty good deal, right~?

Sora

[ Sora's outfit isn't too terribly bright either. It looks identical to Roxas's outfit, his chest and shoulders left bare, only his being is of a regular jaguar rather than its black counterpart ie Roxas. Unlike his virtual twin, Sora is perfectly fine with all of this. Yeah he's a little nervous, who wouldn't be over a date?, but over all it'd be just like hanging out with a friend so what was there to worry about?

[ He was grinning as he waited for someone to bed on him, bouncing a bit on his toes. ]
