◣ Summer Fair ◢

If anyone actually wanders up there, they will find the whole village decorated with strings of light, fish shaped lanterns, streamers, and kelp. Just past the North edge of the Village was a fair.

There was a large stage in the center of the fair, rides, a fortune teller, contests, games, a petting zoo, a fish exhibit, stalls, booths and everything else you can find at a fair.

[Serph had been under the impression that the purpose of the auction was to make friends, thanks to some misleading from Angelo.

Having seen other bids before him, Serph is 100% done certain that isn't actually the purpose of the auction. But Angelo won't let him leave, and Serph isn't angry enough to not care about the ruckus it would cause. Serph isn't comfortable with this, but he's not letting it show.

That said, he isn't exactly getting into this either; his expression is not much different from his usual :| ]

[Although Angelo was participating himself, it didn't mean he wasn't allowed to bid. Thus, he places down a bid of 30 silver for Serph. A small smirk curling around his lips.]

I see you're enjoying yourself, Serph.

[bufudine]

[Serph folds his arms and his expression changes slightly from :| to ):|

Does this look like the face of a guy who's enjoying himself?

Though the frown dissipates as he casts it across the other people present.]

[He leans in close and smiles at Serph.]

Oh don't be mad with me, Serph. I'll treat you to a nice dinner when I win the auction. How does that sound?

[bufudine]

[Terrible.

Serph takes a step back from Angelo, but he does at least uncross his arms.]

If you win.

[Though honestly, regardless of who wins, Serph won't be terribly pleased.]

[He leans closer again and whispers into Serph's ear.]

I don't hear anyone else asking for a date from you. So that means I automatically win.

[bufudine]

[Nope, placing a hand on Angelo's face and firmly pushing him away from him. His voice is flat, neutral, not betraying his feelings on the prospect of going on a date with anyone.]

We'll see.

[Wrapping his arms around Serph's waist, he pulls him close and grins.]

Would going on a date with me be so terrible?

[bufudine]

[EXCUSE U ANGELO BUT YOU REALLY SHOULDN'T BE TOUCHING THE GOODS. HANDS OFF!! He pointedly removes Angelo's arms from their sockets from around his waist.]

I'm not into dates with anyone.

[beauchevalier]

[You're his goods, Serph. He can touch you all he wants.]

Serph, don't be so against the idea.

[bufudine]

[Excuse you but you are paying for a service--

Serph looks away, uncomfortable. He isn't even entirely sure why all this makes him uneasy. It's the same kind of unease that stems from those fragments of memory he doesn't understand.

It's not something he talks readily about, though, so he stays silent, just waiting for the outcome of the auction so he can decide exactly what he wants to do.]

[beauchevalier]

[Angelo can see Serph being uncomfortable, so he stops. He starts walking away however waves with a smile at him before he goes.]

I can't wait for our date, Serph. I'll see you then.

[And he goes off to watch and host the rest of the show.]
