If anyone actually wanders up there, they will find the whole village decorated with strings of light, fish shaped lanterns, streamers, and kelp. Just past the North edge of the Village was a fair.

There was a large stage in the center of the fair, rides, a fortune teller, contests, games, a petting zoo, a fish exhibit, stalls, booths and everything else you can find at a fair.

He asks anyway, even though he already knows the answer. A couple of the little goats start hopping around excitedly. "Haha, of course they do. That is why they are here. So they can be pet and played with, and shown much affections."

[After taking in the sights a certain petite scientist is making her rounds on the games. So far, she has taken the Chicken Run game to the bank~. Eventually they just started handing her stuffed animals instead of the Tokens she had been after.

Not that it mattered, she had made a nice amount before moving on. The next game to be hit by the genius happen to be the fish bowls. Several fish and a few stuff animals later Washu had a floating platform following her filled with various large and medium stuffed animals and even a few small ones she thought were cute, several game systems and who knows what else.

Right now, she was amusing herself in the Arcade, getting top scores on whatever game she played. This stuff was too easy. Where was the challenge?]

[What was next? Murderous salad? Still, he heads for the ocean as told, though he doesn't go far into the waves.]

[Sola follows suit and dives head first into the waves, the legion of angry cuccos hot on his heels. They seem afraid of the water, however, and after lurking on the edge for what seems like an eternity, they turn as one and fly off, the last one giving a evil "bawk!" as it turns to go.

Sola waits another several minutes, crouched behind his shield and dripping wet, until he deems it safe to creep back up onto the beach.]

Okay... I think they're back to normal now.

[Jet was actually pretty impressed, even Joe wasn't that good at video games.

When the guy offers his hand, Jet smirks and shakes it.]

Jet. Yeah, I'll give it a shot, don't expect any fireworks, though, video games aren't really my strong point.

[But damn were they fun and even a little addicting. How many times had Frannie had to stand in front of the screen just to get the boys' attention?

The game starts over and instantly Jet's not sure what he's supposed to be doing.]

Eh...so, what, he's just supposed to eat those dots? What about the jellyfish?

[It's possible he is, but he is stubborn, and he has made up his mind. For whatever reason he's formed a bond with Maka and Kid that's stronger than the ones he formed with his friends from the cram school. It doesn't mean he loves them any less, he just loves Maka and Kid more. That's how he sees it, anyway.

He has his own thing to say about not worrying about what Yukio has to say, but Shiro cuts him off with the warning about being careful.]

Pie Eating Contest

[Lloyd's come to this contest prepared the best way he can: he's absolutely starving. Stomach gurgling in evidence of this, he can't help but drool over the selection of pies.]

Oh man, I could eat ten of these things!

[Yay spending time with uncle Darkleer! He doesn't get to do that nearly enough, or so he feels.]

Yeah, guess it wouldn't make sense for this thing to stay set up after this. I haven't been here long, but maybe there's something similar in the city.

So Anna just wants to get her feet in the water - which really means ' no water past my knees' - but she is in a swimsuit that looks quite a bit like a summer dress, waves splashing at her ankles as she tries to hold the bright red lantern and think.

What she wants?

[Very mature, Rin. Yukio's the ass? The one who thinks of little else but trying to protect Rin? The one who's constantly cleaning up his messes?

He huffs and sneers a bit, rising from the bench as if to walk away.]

You're impossible.

[They're both being so mature right now.]

That's better than Tatara; he's just wearing swimming trunks instead of pants and a regular shirt. He sets the camera up behind her so that it'll record this without him having to hold it and walks up to stand next to her, holding a darker red lantern.

He gives her a smile before looking back out at the sea. "Thought of anything?"

Clearly Tatara was playing at the beach and showing off his HOMRA mark today.

Anna blinks at him, then the lantern in her hands. "Maybe." She doesn't want much to change - Izumo to be awake, yes, but... She has all her people here. Having Misaki, or Rikio, or Chitose and Dewa and the rest would be nice to, but she's content with the three she has.

But she also can't go let the wish fly because it needs a particularly pretty flame. "Have you?"

Thanks, Colette! You sure you don't want to join? I bet you'd do pretty good, if you wanted! Would you even notice if you started getting full? Or does being an angel only affect being hungry?

[Ooo, that's a challenge. Maybe he'd stand a chance if he had those pistols he loves so much, but with weapons he's less sure of Shiro's pretty likely to clean his clock.

Yukio puts an arrow through the bullseye before turning to look at Shiro, another arrow already notched and ready. Geez, this is still weird and vaguely heartbreaking.]

He nods. "Yeah." He wants them to make more wonderful memories together while they can. King, Kusanagi-san, Anna, the rest of HOMRA, Saru-kun, Kuroh, and even Shiro. He wants them all to be happy, since he knows that if they go home, they won't see him again until they die or come back here.

He wants his family, the thing he found that stayed interesting for as long as he knew them, to be happy. That's it.

"I'll light them when you're ready." He'll let his go when she does.

Wouldn't that count as cheating? I haven't tried to see which one it is, anyway.
