If anyone actually wanders up there, they will find the whole village decorated with strings of light, fish shaped lanterns, streamers, and kelp. Just past the North edge of the Village was a fair.

There was a large stage in the center of the fair, rides, a fortune teller, contests, games, a petting zoo, a fish exhibit, stalls, booths and everything else you can find at a fair.

Dirk slowed every so often, giving Leo a chance to either catch up or lead as the situation called for, readjusting his grip on the line and the space between their hands on it. He hadn't taken the boat too far out, so it wasn't long before they got close enough to shore for him to get his feet down on the bottom and start walking, rather than swimming, though he didn't stop in place until they were at the water level where Leo could get his feet on the ground as well. "Thanks for the assist, bro."

He giggled a bit at her enthusiasm, then tilted his head and looked over at her with a puzzled expression.

Time's stopped there.. back home. Saber's heard that too, it's just.. bizarre. Vatheon has been hard to adjust to for the knight.

Saber stands up from the table, stick still in her hand. It's wiped clean, of course. Bowing her upper form briefly, the knight smiles.

When Leo's feet were able to touch down without his head being submerged under water, he stopped. "It's not a big deal. I was already out there. Can't leave my bro hanging."

Yes. Just stick to bros. That was the easier and less confusing way to deal with things. Surely they'd be able to work past all this awkward eventually. Or work past the confusion. Or both. Or something. Time was the important part in all of this. Never mind that kooky fortune teller and her "sweet" prediction. It was a funny coincidence. That's all. For now at least, the b in bromance was in place.
