If anyone actually wanders up there, they will find the whole village decorated with strings of light, fish shaped lanterns, streamers, and kelp. Just past the North edge of the Village was a fair.

There was a large stage in the center of the fair, rides, a fortune teller, contests, games, a petting zoo, a fish exhibit, stalls, booths and everything else you can find at a fair.

"I am Tavros!" He is all about the fist bumps yo, so Leo gets a nice and firm one.

"I don't actually know anything about, any sort of mechanical things, at all. I am just happy, that they can make me be able to walk again, and have usefulness and self esteem."

"He, uh... talked about me?" Clearly this is not something he expected to happen, even if it was just about his legs.

"Yeah. We were geeking out a bit over mechanical stuff. Talking about accomplishments. You two must be good friends if he's gone to the lengths to make as many leg upgrades for you as he said."

"Actually, I don't think he likes me all that much. Probably, because I am dating his moirail, who he loves a lot too." He shrugs, kind of used to it. "Less so then, I think. I still don't know, why he did it."

"You're dating his moirail? Isn't he dating his moirail?" Leo is very confused. He knows in general terms what matesprits and moirails are, but he's not gotten the full rundown yet.

"She's my matesprit, not my moirail. We are both dating her, but in ways that are different from each other. Its, uh... not the same thing." Humans get confused a lot, but he's not usually the one to try and explain it.

"Okay. From what little I know about the two, I guess that makes some sort of sense. But if they're two different kinds of relationships, why would he not like you because of it?" Leo's beginning to think he might just have to give in and ask Karkat about all of this after all. And deal with being called an idiot because of his ADHD like Percy was.

"Probably because, I am a lower caste than she is. He maybe likes me more, but that could just be because of Nepeta and Gamzee, and not because it's a true thing." It's hard to tell with Equius really, and Tav is just used to him being a dick. But the bullhorned troll puffs himself up a bit, brushing it off. Confidence! He has it! Sort of.

"But.. I don't care! I love her and am a good thing for her anyway!"

Castes? The trolls had a caste system? That sounded like some tricky and touchy territory, so he steered clear from that topic.

"That's the spirit, dude!" He gave Tavros a thumbs up.

He brightens up again, even his wings seem to lift and he gives the other boy a thumbs up too.

"She makes me, a better me, so I don't care what he thinks! Mostly."

"That's good. Can I ask who she is?" Leo wonders if he knows her, but he somehow doubts that Tavros will say either of the two female trolls he's met - Aradia and Feferi. But then again, he doesn't know much about either of the girls, so he could be wrong.

"Her name is Nepeta and she is the best there is at everything she does." His face and the tips of his ears go a bit brown. "She's, uh... beautiful and kind, and has a personal motif, involving cats."

Leo would have found the brown blushing weird if it weren't for the fact that he'd learned a bit about the hemospectrum. Well, it was still weird, but he'd have felt the need to ask about it. It was easy enough to jump from humans blush pink because of their red blood to trolls blush *color* because of their *color* blood.

"Cats, huh?" Leo smiled. Tavros was clearly whipped if he was gushing this much about her. If Leo were one to be crass, he'd make the pun about him being pussy whipped, but he's not so he keeps that to himself.
