If anyone actually wanders up there, they will find the whole village decorated with strings of light, fish shaped lanterns, streamers, and kelp. Just past the North edge of the Village was a fair.

There was a large stage in the center of the fair, rides, a fortune teller, contests, games, a petting zoo, a fish exhibit, stalls, booths and everything else you can find at a fair.

[It shouldn't be fair that someone that's already a markswoman be playing a game that's meant for fun.

But Jade thinks it's a whole lot of fun! Though the prizes aren't squiddles, she'll work with it anyway and make up for it with winning herself a light-up starfish pillow!]

[Dave's just been wandering around with a light up starfish pillow under his arm, he went through all that trouble and they were out of the x-bass systems. The pillow was cooler than the turtle or the shark at least. There really wasn't much he could do, he'd tried all the games that involved aiming only to discover that his skills were definitely more in close combat than ranged. It was downright embarrassing and he hoped no one saw how badly he sucked.

But he stops when he sees Jade totally owning, and of course she would. This is kind of cheating really, but she seems to be having fun either way.]

You know, you could put all of these booths out of business, no sweat.

Well, I don't want to do that, just kind of knock the stuffed animals out of them until the stuffed animal god is satisfied.

[She is the stuffed animal god, it's her.]

What have you been up to here, Dave? Want me to win you a starfish pillow? I know how much you like hugging things while you're sleeping.

[He was with her up until that last line, had a totally awesome comeback about the stuffed animal gods and their sacrifices, but then she throws him a curveball and he has to take a second to process just what the hell was implied there and raises a brow.]

How do you know what sleeping habits I may or may not have?

[Because that's totally why he got his own starfish pillow in the first place. There's only so much one can do with regular pillows and bundled up blankets.]

Oh, we shared a room the last time you were here in Vatheon, I was well-acquainted with these sleeping habits.

[Said...way too casually. But then again, this is Jade.]

[He just gives a suggestive smile at that, he can't help it. She said it so naturally, it's impossible to feel awkward over even if it's a bit embarrassing.]

[That's when he decides to hold up the starfish pillow he's got with him.]

One step ahead of you though, already snagged up my own for that exact purpose.

[Those chickens didn't stand a chance. His pride just hopes Jade doesn't find out how bad he sucks at the throwing games.]

A starfish is totally cuter than a shark, but sure. Don't you want to win it for yourself or do you got a pile waiting already?

Got it covered, dude. I regret nothing except the inability to win squiddles. Though maybe if I bully them a little, I can get a squitten plush.

Oh, you want to be wooed, Strider? Okay then, I will sweep you off of your feet with my shark-catching skills.

[This is silly, but deftly shooting up a spinning target is sort of un-silly.]

I don't think I should bully these people too much, it was very nice of them to even set up this festival for us in the first place!
