[The mingle party for this month is slightly delayed, and it certainly isn't because Station Master had decided to wait for the perfect weather.

Today, the party is taking place on the island, where there are locals stationed out on the beach who're more than happy to toss you a kite and show you how to fly one in this breezy day. There are plenty of kites to choose from, ranging from the simple to the pretty to the more tentacular.

Further out along the beach are rows and rows of surfboards, with a sign. With those sweet waves, doesn't it make you want to get out there and ride them? ...Well, even if you don't, some locals will be quite insistent you try and look they're even willing to show you the ropes!

Away from the waves, however, is an outdoor barbeque, with locals cooking shrimp prawns, fish, hot dogs, skewers... anything you want. There's something for everyone, and if you want to be the cook, they'll happily shove over and give you space to be the Iron Chef of the Beach.

...Actually the party's just an excuse for Station Master to show off his masterpiece]

Kite Flying

[Want to learn how to fly a kite? Want to make a game out of who can fly their kite the highest? Or maybe a local just shoved a kite at you?]

[Judging by her attire, Anya may have been on her way to other activities when one of the locals shoved this fish kite at her. But she figured, why not? She got a free thing, so she might as well give it a try.

You are of course welcome to admire and compliment her figure in that black bikini, but her attention is focused very intently on keeping her fish in the sky, so you may have to speak up.]

[Don't mind the casual wolf whistle as Marceline floats on by. The giant sunhat is a bit awkward, but she's definitely rocking a nice little black dress with a skeleton hand belt.]

[ Don't mind him just coming up when he catches sight of her, staying silent for a few moments before leaning in to all but murmur in her ear. ]

[ Italy has a kite now, thanks to the locals, striped like the Italian flag! Look at that, he's actually pretty good at this, flying his kite like it's nothing next to the shoreline. ]

[In the on going attempt to capture Bloom, Crocker has a human sized butterfly net he's stalking around with.] Where is she? Where is she?

[In pursue of her, Crocker accidently may or may not bump into Italy.]

Finny Fun

[Surfing? Swimming? Sun bathing while watching others play in the sea? Make sure you have plenty of sunscreen on and enjoy yourself!]

[One of the newest residents is certainly dressed for swimming, but he's not actually in the water. Which is surprising, given how he arrived and how much he's gone on and on about his swimming club back home.

But given what happened earlier in the weekend, it's understandable why he's suddenly a little gunshy of the water surrounding the island.

Still, it's clear he wants to be out there. He's sitting in the sand near where the surfboards are in his jammers and a white and blue sports jacket with the word 'Iwatobi' across the back. Knees to his chest, a longing gaze directed at the water.

He's practically pouting.]

[Rarity isn't overly fond of the water unless she's in a hot bath or she has a nice big float to use, but since there's a gathering of people up at the beach she figures she'll risk getting a little bit wet so she can socialize!

So after applying a liberal amount of sunscreen and setting up a nice decorative and purple beach blanket out for her to settle on, she puts on a pair of red sunglasses and approaches the water for someone to talk to. Ooh, there are so many pretty seashells here! She wonders if she can incorporate some of them into her dresses! Or perhaps even her jewelry!

For a while she's a little to distracted by all this to realize she's walking straight towards Nagisa, so suddenly she bumps into him with a small 'oof'.]

Oh! Terribly sorry, darling. I didn't see you there.

[She tilts her sunglasses down to get a better look at him. Oh? What's this?]

Darling, are you quite all right? Something seems to be on your mind!

[Don't mind the chick in the giant oversized sunhat floating by you. She's just observing.]

[Hope you don't mind the alien clown dropping down on the sand besides you there. He just had been wandering the beach and finding a motherfucker looking all do down in the dumps and dishearted just made Gamzee wanna cheer him the motherfuck up.]

That's some long motherfuckin' look what you got there. Wanna tell a motherfucker what's the haps?

[Warm weather and sunshine usually helps cheer Axel up, so after ditching his coat for a pair of simple black swim trunks, he heads up to the island and settles in on a spot not too far away from the water, but just far enough so the tide won't surprise him.

He's currently lying down on a beach blanket under an umbrella and from the looks of things he appears to be... taking a nap?

Clearly this is the perfect time to bother the hell out of him or something, you realize.]

[By drawing skeletons all over his skinny stomach? Marcy is up to the task, and armed with a sharpie. Now just don't wake up, Axel...]

[Oh look we're both shirtless this time.

I mean. Yeah, okay, Roxas is in swim trunks, too. Not that Axel is going to notice him at all while he's asleep.

Hope you don't mind your best friend partially burying you in sand and building up a castle around you. It's far from an artistic masterpiece, and how involved it gets depends on how long Axel takes to wake up, but there are definitely going to be some seashell-decorated turrets behind your head and on top of your feet.]

[Roxas is a fan of most beach activities and could be persuaded to join in them. He's certainly prepared for a swim in his checker-trimmed white swim trunks, but left to his own devices, he's picking his way along the beach looking for seashells. It's been a while since he's added anything to his collection.]

[Nel is very excited about the beach!

She has on a bright pink ruffly bathing suit the exact same color as the stripe across her nose (she went around and held up suits to the stripe until she found one exactly right), and she's splashing around in the shallows. The bathing suit shows two unusual things about Nel, namely the tattoo on her back and the hole in the middle of her collarbone that goes all the way through her body. But she doesn't care about stuff like that, she's more interested in trying to catch some tiny fish that are trapped in a tidepool.]

[Where else would Rin be, but over where the food and drink is? When a local happily let him take over, he jumped in excitedly, using it as a chance to pitch something he'd been working hard on for the past month and a half.]

[Rarity's been spending a good portion of her time up here on the island relaxing under her umbrella or scouting the shore for some intact seashells she can collect for fashion purposes, but at one point she spots the large and very intricate sandcastle and feels so inspired to create one herself!

So with a bit of magic on her side and quite a bit of patience, Rarity begins work on a small yet very intricate castle herself! There are striking similarities between it and the Canterlot castle back home, but of course she hasn't quite been there enough to have memorized every little detail of it. Still, she's working very hard as you can see!

And don't you care think of ruining it or she will destroy you. B|]

[Namine was never one to actually go play in the water, but she did get herself a new swimsuit and had yet to use it. And now she's not even near the water and still wearing her cover, the little blond artist was currently making something out of sand. A castle to be more specific.

She was carefully patting down the sand into a circular shape and adding more sand before starting to shape it more. Now she's only been in one castle and she'd rather not remember that one, but from the stories that she's read was a good alternative.

Honestly she's never made one of these before, playing in the sand never crossed her mind during the summer. But right now, she was enjoying herself with making the little structure.]

[ The beach when it's crowded is always a distracting experience that often leaves Isaac feeling embarrassed and flustered. He simply not used to seeing people yet in such.. revealing swim attire. He himself happens to be wearing a full suit instead of some trunks as it's the closest thing to Victorian swimwear that he could find.

Luckily he found an activity to focus on and soon was paying little attention to all the nearly nude people. Sandcastle building. Or sandcreature building in his case. Isaac doesn't have much artistic skill but he feels his sand kracken is QUITE the masterpiece. If anything at least it's size is somewhat impressive. ]

[Night isn't very well versed in the art of sandcastle-making (which explains his lack of tools, like a bucket and small shovel), but that doesn't seem to bother him. Sitting outside in the sun with his swimming trunks on, tail out, makes this very enjoyable even if he was covered in sand all the way up to his elbows.

His own masterpiece doesn't look so bad either.]

[Please. There's always a certain vampire queen who wants to rock out. She's hurt you'd think otherwise! With that said, of course she's up on stage, its cover letting her rock out and wearing something pretty sweet. Red boots on as always.]
