[The mingle party for this month is slightly delayed, and it certainly isn't because Station Master had decided to wait for the perfect weather.

Today, the party is taking place on the island, where there are locals stationed out on the beach who're more than happy to toss you a kite and show you how to fly one in this breezy day. There are plenty of kites to choose from, ranging from the simple to the pretty to the more tentacular.

Further out along the beach are rows and rows of surfboards, with a sign. With those sweet waves, doesn't it make you want to get out there and ride them? ...Well, even if you don't, some locals will be quite insistent you try and look they're even willing to show you the ropes!

Away from the waves, however, is an outdoor barbeque, with locals cooking shrimp prawns, fish, hot dogs, skewers... anything you want. There's something for everyone, and if you want to be the cook, they'll happily shove over and give you space to be the Iron Chef of the Beach.

...Actually the party's just an excuse for Station Master to show off his masterpiece]

[One of the newest residents is certainly dressed for swimming, but he's not actually in the water. Which is surprising, given how he arrived and how much he's gone on and on about his swimming club back home.

But given what happened earlier in the weekend, it's understandable why he's suddenly a little gunshy of the water surrounding the island.

Still, it's clear he wants to be out there. He's sitting in the sand near where the surfboards are in his jammers and a white and blue sports jacket with the word 'Iwatobi' across the back. Knees to his chest, a longing gaze directed at the water.

He's practically pouting.]

[Where else would Rin be, but over where the food and drink is? When a local happily let him take over, he jumped in excitedly, using it as a chance to pitch something he'd been working hard on for the past month and a half.]

Hey if you like this stuff and you wanna be able to cook like I do, there's gonna be a cooking school openin' up this week! Come check it out, I can teach you everythin' I know!

[Rarity isn't overly fond of the water unless she's in a hot bath or she has a nice big float to use, but since there's a gathering of people up at the beach she figures she'll risk getting a little bit wet so she can socialize!

So after applying a liberal amount of sunscreen and setting up a nice decorative and purple beach blanket out for her to settle on, she puts on a pair of red sunglasses and approaches the water for someone to talk to. Ooh, there are so many pretty seashells here! She wonders if she can incorporate some of them into her dresses! Or perhaps even her jewelry!

For a while she's a little to distracted by all this to realize she's walking straight towards Nagisa, so suddenly she bumps into him with a small 'oof'.]

Oh! Terribly sorry, darling. I didn't see you there.

[She tilts her sunglasses down to get a better look at him. Oh? What's this?]

Darling, are you quite all right? Something seems to be on your mind!

[If Nagisa had been in better spirits he would have been paying more attention. Not that it would have stopped him from getting bumped in to, but he would have realized it wasn't a person who had done the bumping.

Instead her question just earned a groan from the teen, face getting buried in his folded arms.]

I wanna go swimming! But... a monster attacked me yesterday... this place is so weird! I don't think I'll ever get used to it.

[Warm weather and sunshine usually helps cheer Axel up, so after ditching his coat for a pair of simple black swim trunks, he heads up to the island and settles in on a spot not too far away from the water, but just far enough so the tide won't surprise him.

He's currently lying down on a beach blanket under an umbrella and from the looks of things he appears to be... taking a nap?

Clearly this is the perfect time to bother the hell out of him or something, you realize.]

[Rarity's been spending a good portion of her time up here on the island relaxing under her umbrella or scouting the shore for some intact seashells she can collect for fashion purposes, but at one point she spots the large and very intricate sandcastle and feels so inspired to create one herself!

So with a bit of magic on her side and quite a bit of patience, Rarity begins work on a small yet very intricate castle herself! There are striking similarities between it and the Canterlot castle back home, but of course she hasn't quite been there enough to have memorized every little detail of it. Still, she's working very hard as you can see!

And don't you care think of ruining it or she will destroy you. B|]

A monster?

[Rarity perks up a little at that then sends a wary gaze towards the water.]

Y-you are certain there was a monster? What kind of monster?

I'unno! It was big an angry that I was near the barrier I think...

[He huffs, raising his head again, casting his pink-hazel gaze out at the water as well.]

I guess it didn't really attack me, it just scared me off. But still!

[antianarchy]

[ Whoa, no worries here. Just someone who appreciates good aesthetics. Even moreso that it's coming from a unicorn. A psychic unicorn at that. She's silent witness, taking her sunglasses off and resting her head on her hand as she continues to watch the construction.

It's only a few moments later when she approaches and speaks up. ]

Quite the talented creature, aren't we...?

The barrier?

[She looks out an squints a bit.]

Well... perhaps it won't come out this close to the shore!

It didn't chase me... s-so I guess it just doesn't want anything near the barrier... ?

[He fidgets, making distressed noises. He liked to think of himself as not being nearly as obsessed with water as Haruka was, but there were times where he really did just want to swim.

This was, of course, one of those moments.]

I was gonna ask Mako-chan to go with me, but he was still asleep. Maybe if I had some one with me...

[Rarity's busy sculpting out another little detail into the edge of one of the spires of the castle when she hears that voice and drops the stick she's using. Thankfully her work hasn't been ruined, though, so it's all good!

Whew.]

I am certainly glad you think so~

[She turns to look at the stranger speaking to her... and she'll try her best not to scream. Rarity just has to remember that there are many different kind of residents here! That's all!]

Aha. I do not believe we have met yet! Are you quite enjoying yourself on this lovely sunny day?

Well, that's certainly not very nice at all, now is it?

[Rarity pouts a bit herself. What a rude creature, scaring people away like that!]

Ah, you'd like somepony to swim with you? Hmm... well, I cannot say that I myself am a fantastic swimmer, otherwise I might have offered.

[Seriously rude...]

Well it'd be nice to have someone near--

[And that's when he finally looks up, prepared with a big adorable grin...

until he sees who he's talking to.]

[Please. There's always a certain vampire queen who wants to rock out. She's hurt you'd think otherwise! With that said, of course she's up on stage, its cover letting her rock out and wearing something pretty sweet. Red boots on as always.]

[Judging by her attire, Anya may have been on her way to other activities when one of the locals shoved this fish kite at her. But she figured, why not? She got a free thing, so she might as well give it a try.

You are of course welcome to admire and compliment her figure in that black bikini, but her attention is focused very intently on keeping her fish in the sky, so you may have to speak up.]

[Roxas is a fan of most beach activities and could be persuaded to join in them. He's certainly prepared for a swim in his checker-trimmed white swim trunks, but left to his own devices, he's picking his way along the beach looking for seashells. It's been a while since he's added anything to his collection.]
