[The mingle party for this month is slightly delayed, and it certainly isn't because Station Master had decided to wait for the perfect weather.

Today, the party is taking place on the island, where there are locals stationed out on the beach who're more than happy to toss you a kite and show you how to fly one in this breezy day. There are plenty of kites to choose from, ranging from the simple to the pretty to the more tentacular.

Further out along the beach are rows and rows of surfboards, with a sign. With those sweet waves, doesn't it make you want to get out there and ride them? ...Well, even if you don't, some locals will be quite insistent you try and look they're even willing to show you the ropes!

Away from the waves, however, is an outdoor barbeque, with locals cooking ~~shrimp~~ prawns, fish, hot dogs, skewers... anything you want. There's something for everyone, and if you want to be the cook, they'll happily shove over and give you space to be the Iron Chef of the Beach.

...Actually the party's just an excuse for Station Master to show off his masterpiece]

Wow, way to be a baby then. Seriously, just stay in the shallows. You think it's gonna come near you while you're away from the barrier?

Fiiiiiiine! Will it get you to leave me alone, strange gray woman who raises the undead for rock concerts?!

[She casually reclines, hands behind her head.]

I'm watching.

[There's an annoyed huff and a childish pout from the teen, but soon enough he's on his feet, heading for the water's edge.]

[Just a wiggly finger wave as he heads off.]

[He strides up to the water, tossing his jacket off (probably with more flourish than was really necessary) before stepping in.

It takes a bit to wade in far enough for him to finally dive in to the water, fingers pointed and form obviously that of some one who swims on a regular basis..]

[Definitely more flourish than is necessary, but it amuses Marceline, so she doesn't mind.]

[It's only when he actually starts to properly swim that she starts to casually float after him.]

Hey, not bad. You're better than I thought you'd be.

[~~Gotta show off those muscles y'know~~

He doesn't say anything right away because it's difficult to talk and properly swim breast stroke at the same time, but eventually he does come to a stop and floats in the water, panting a little.]

I was in a swim club back home.

[It's cool, Marceline is actually capable of patience. Sometimes.]

Niiiice. You shoulda been in the water sooner.

[At least he looks awesome while swimming.]
