[The mingle party for this month is slightly delayed, and it certainly isn't because Station Master had decided to wait for the perfect weather.

Today, the party is taking place on the island, where there are locals stationed out on the beach who're more than happy to toss you a kite and show you how to fly one in this breezy day. There are plenty of kites to choose from, ranging from the simple to the pretty to the more tentacular.

Further out along the beach are rows and rows of surfboards, with a sign. With those sweet waves, doesn't it make you want to get out there and ride them? ...Well, even if you don't, some locals will be quite insistent you try and look they're even willing to show you the ropes!

Away from the waves, however, is an outdoor barbeque, with locals cooking shrimp prawns, fish, hot dogs, skewers... anything you want. There's something for everyone, and if you want to be the cook, they'll happily shove over and give you space to be the Iron Chef of the Beach.

[Namine was never one to actually go play in the water, but she did get herself a new swimsuit and had yet to use it. And now she's not even near the water and still wearing her cover, the little blond artist was currently making something out of sand. A castle to be more specific.

She was carefully patting down the sand into a circular shape and adding more sand before starting to shape it more. Now she's only been in one castle and she'd rather not remember that one, but from the stories that she's read was a good alternative.

Honestly she's never made one of these before, playing in the sand never crossed her mind during the summer. But right now, she was enjoying herself with making the little structure.]

[Axel's always been a fan of the warmer summer weather so when he hears about a little gathering going on up top on the island he can't help but want to be a part of it. Maybe it'll help get his mind off of a few things...

He's walking along the shore with his hands in the pockets of his swim trunks when suddenly out of the corner of his eyes he spots a familiar girl working in the sand. Ah. It's been a while since he's seen her, hasn't it?

Thinking it, Axel walks over, stopping once he's behind her so he can bend over and admire her work.]

What'cha makin' there, kid?

[Namine jumped a bit, not expecting someone to come over to visit her. She looked up and smiled when she saw Axel.]

A sand castle. I always see really nice ones in the stories that I read about, so I wanted to make one while I was up here.

Looks like you've made pretty good start.

[Axel straightens up a bit then places his hands on his hips.]

I bet you'd make a better castle than the ones in those stories, too.

[She pats the sand for a moment before adding more on.]

I don't know about that. I don't think my castles could ever look as grand as the ones in the stories.

They could be if you tried hard enough.

[Laugh]

Plus, you're pretty artistic, you know?
