September Mingle Log
[The mingle party for this month is slightly delayed, and it certainly isn't because Station Master had decided to wait for the perfect weather.
Today, the party is taking place on the island, where there are locals stationed out on the beach who're more than happy to toss you a kite and show you how to fly one in this breezy day. There are plenty of kites to choose from, ranging from the simple to the pretty to the more tentacular.
Further out along the beach are rows and rows of surfboards, with a sign. With those sweet waves, doesn't it make you want to get out there and ride them? ...Well, even if you don't, some locals will be quite insistent you try and look they're even willing to show you the ropes!
Away from the waves, however, is an outdoor barbeque, with locals cookingshrimp prawns, fish, hot dogs, skewers... anything you want. There's something for everyone, and if you want to be the cook, they'll happily shove over and give you space to be the Iron Chef of the Beach.
...Actually the party's just an excuse for Station Master to show off his masterpiece]

One of these days you might regret it, Mr. Nice Guy.
[He brushes off a little more sand before he steps out from under the umbrella and stretches his arms out a bit.]
no subject
[He can imagine Axel trying to get something like breakfast in bed out of him.]
no subject
Nope. Not telling you anything.]
no subject
I don't know why I say stuff like that...
no subject
Like I said: one of these days you'll regret it.

[He brings a finger up to his lips before he breaks into a run for the water.]
Race you!

[Roxas takes off after him, but unless Axel lets him there's no way he's winning. The head start and those long legs put Axel in the clear lead.]
no subject
Not my fault you're so slow!
no subject
You're the one who's too tall!
no subject
I happen to like how tall I am, thank you very much.
no subject
[splash splash. Come into the deeper water so he can splash your face easier.]
no subject
[Nope, not moving from where he is, buddy.]
no subject
[Roxas stops splashing and just takes a few steps back into the water.]
You coming for a swim or not?
no subject
[Rolling his eyes, Axel steps in a little further until he's waist deep in the water. Yes, he's doing this to get all that sand out of his shorts, thanks.]
Don't be so impatient, kiddo.
no subject
[Because that would mean Roxas is less awesome for being short. =( ]
You raced over here to take your time, huh?
no subject
Ah, what do you know?
[He huffs as he sinks a little deeper in the water, blowing some bubbles.]
no subject
Well, I know last time you freaked out thinking there was something in the water.
Maybe you're scared.
no subject
[he protests a little quicker than he'd like, his head popping back up from under the water so he can speak.]
no subject
[Stepping back deeper and deeper, and now it's too deep for him to stand up in. C'mon bestie.]
no subject
There. You happy?
no subject
[He gives Axel's shoulder a friendly push.]
no subject
... You know, wet hair looks nice on you, bestie.]
Man, I really needed a break like this, you know? Back home, it's not like we got to hit the beach often either.
no subject
He just swims around a little, half just treading water.]
It is nice. Did we- ever actually make it to the beach, back home?
no subject
You know... I don't think we ever did.
