Italy had finally stopped shaking, thanks to his many friends he'd made here. He hadn't seen any signs of the Boogeyman (read: Grand Highblood) anywhere so it must be safe to go out again.

A few weeks ago, Medic had suggested opening a bakery. There seemed to be interest in it and he even got a partner, a pretty and very sweet mouse queen!

Now there were two questions left in the country's mind:
1. location, location, location
2. cost?
Everything was essentially free here, though Italy had no idea how that even kept their economy alive (Vatheon was anything but impoverish). But giving the baked goods away for free just didn't sit right with him. He could only think of how poor his people had been lately. But money was meaningless here. So the idea of trading for goods sat pretty well in his mind. Bartering was his old way of trading (in his early country days), but that didn't mean he couldn't do it again.

Anyway, he stood in the plaza, staring at the buildings, sketching them out to see what sort of storefront he should have.

"Can you tell me a little more about your world, Italy? It must be a really nice place if it has good food over there!" And hopefully a little more peaceful compared to hers.

"Ve, it's really nice," Italy replied between mouthfuls. "The weather's always great, the food's great. Some of the other countries can be mean, but Germany's always there to help me!"

Then there was a pause at what Italy meant. "Is there a lot of fighting back in your world?" Please don't let it be war.

"There is," Italy nodded. "It wasn't always that way."

"What do you mean by that?" She asked him curiously. "What...happened?"

"There were lots of arguments and fighting over the last war," Italy frowned. "But before that, it was pretty nice, at least for me."

"And the war is still going on right now?" Now Bianca was really worried about Italy.

[savemegermany]

Italy nodded again. "It is."

"Well maybe we can do something about it! Anything is better than fighting, I don't want you to go back home if you're going to do that!" She shouted at Italy. She honestly didn't want to see her friend hurt in that fashion.

He wasn't quite expecting that from someone he just met. Then again, she was a really nice person (something Italy wasn't too accustomed to). "Don't worry, Germany will protect me."

"But..." She mumbled as she nibbled on her pasta. "You're not worried? At all?"

"Ve, I am worried, but I know Germany will help me," he replied. "Japan too. They're both very strong!"

Then a small smile appeared. "You really trust them don't you? Knowing that they'll always be there for you even during a war!"

"Si, si," Italy replied with a nod, finishing off his plate of pasta and waving the waiter over for another helping.

Meanwhile Bianca eyes widen. "Ahh, you must be really hungry for another plate!" She stared down at hers and she was almost done. Granted, she was full but... "Oh waiter, can you get me some soda?"

Italy nodded. His stomach could be quite large at times. "More soda for me, too~!"

As she got another soda, she spoke up. "If this is as good as the food you make back home, then I bet you make even better pasta!"

"Ve, ve," he replied with a nod. "I make all kinds of pasta! It's what I do really well~" It was one of the things he was actually good at.

"Then whenever you have the time, I really want to try some of your pasta!" She said before eating the last of her own.

"I'll be happy to make pasta for you!" Italy said excitedly.

[needsmoregreen]

"Really?" She shouted. "Hooray! I can't wait! Then that means I'll have to get some of the ingredients for them!"

"You don't have to do that~," Italy objected kindly. "I can get the ingredients and you can eat the food."

[needsmoregreen]

"But that wouldn't be very fair!" She protested. "I need to give you something for the pasta though!"

Italy shook his head again. "Ve, you don't have to, but you can if you want to~"

"Hooray!" She shouted before pondering a bit. "Now let's see...we need some noodles, cheese, milk...what else?"
