[ Twilight fades into the darkness of evening, and a whole gaggle of trolls are up on the island to camp out for one very big reason.

One big, angry, honking reason.

But general terror of the Grand Highblood aside, they're still fairly functional in-so-much as trolls ever are. And that's where the shenanigans come in. ]

[Gamzee felt the gust of air caused by that stone flying forward, his eyes widening as he watches it soar out far over the ocean, almost so far they can't see it anymore, and then suddenly that whump of the barrier and it flies back.

But really, it is Equius' whoops that did it.

Snorting, he then just dissolves in helpless laughter, wrapping his arms around his belly as he squeezes his eyes shut, wobbling a little on his feet. That had been hilarious.]

[... okay, nothing broke, and Equius can see the humor in the situation now. He doesn't dissolve into hilarity like Gamzee does, but he makes an amused little hmmph noise and the corner of his mouth quirks upward in a grin.]

Guess I should rein it in a little, huh?

[Gamzee hiccups with laughter, pulling on his arm a little.]

Do it again.

[It is fun to have fun with Equius' strong thing for once.]

Okay.

[What his matesprit wants, his matesprit gets. Equius bends over, scooping a handful of rocks off the ocean floor. He straightens, selects a big one... and WHAM! He throws it hard at the barrier, and it bounces almost all the way back to them, sinking into the waves about twenty feet from where they're standing.]

[Gamzee whoops with glee, his eyes shining as he stares out into the distance, fixating on the smooth ripple each time a stone hits the barrier.]

Again.

[Equius obediently keeps chucking rocks at the barrier and having them bounce back. He can't quite seem to get them to bounce all the way back to them, however, no matter how hard he throws them.]

I bet if Dadleer tried this, he could get the rocks all the way back onto the beach.

I bet. But I ain't here with that motherfucker, I'm here with you being, and you're doing just fuckin' amazing.

[Gamzee grants him a smile, before he goes back to staring at the barrier and thrown rocks. No comparisons here right now. Just them.]

[Equius wasn't really trying to compare himself to Darkleer! Not this time! He was just commenting.]

[He glances over, catching that quick smile before Gamzee looks back to the barrier, and he bends down and plants a quick kiss on his cheek before flinging another rock and watching it bounce back.]

[Oh is it time for kisses, huh? Well, Gamzee can be cool with that. He doesn't even catch that rock bouncing back anymore, cause instead he straightens up to press a kiss to Equius' cheek himself, leaving a dark painted lip print there.]

[If it's kisses time, then Equius has completely and totally forgotten about the rocks! He turns to shyly catch Gamzee's mouth with his own, his hand opening and all the rocks inside it falling out and disappearing beneath the waves.]

[This is the best time. Gamzee wraps his arms loosely around him, leaning in to kiss him. After a few moment of that, he reaches for Equius' hand, guiding it up to his head, helping him lay it against his now short hair.]

[Oh, Equius likes that! Gamzee's hair is all rough and bristly beneath his palm, and he likes it even more that his matesprit knew to pick up his hand and run it through his shorn locks.]

[Hey, after a while of living with a guy and making out with him, you learn to pick up those kind of cues. Even Gamzee does.

He happily, sloppily, rubs clown paint all over Equius' mouth, dropping his own hands again to wrap around his waist, leaving Equius' hand to rest against his head.]

[Good thing they're standing in the ocean then, so Equius can wash off his face later!]

[Equius happily kisses back, a deep purr rumbling up from his chest, his hand still on Gamzee's head and feeling those little bristles on his palm.]

[Yes, they are sure standing in an ocean.

Gamzee's lips quirk a little against Equius', mischievously, before he snakes a foot around Equius' ankle, giving him a playful shove. THAR HE GOES.

any minute now.

Damnit, being silly and playful and spontaneous is really hard when your boyfriend is about as hard to move as a mountain.]

[Equius glances down for a minute, confused. Why did they stop kissing? And why is Gamzee pushing on him?]

[Ooooh, he gets it! Horseplay! Gamzee's trying to play with him!]

[In a reaction that's only delayed by about ten seconds or so, Equius goes pinwheeling backwards into the water.]

[Honestly, by the time Equius does, oh so charmingly, go down, Gamzee had given up already and had gone from pushing to leaning against him. So when Equius goes down with all the grace of a show-dancing elephant, Gamzee goes down with him.

When he feels his feet slip, his eyes widen, but there is not stopping it. Equius hits the water hard with a cannonball splash, and Gamzee follows with a thud and a groan when he smashes his nose, and by extension the whole of his mug, into Equius' chest.]

[Equius felt that impact on his chest, and he winces, pushing himself up out of the water and leaning on his hands.]

Are you okay?!

[Gamzee sits up, his hands clasped over his face, sniffed. Not cause he is crying, mind you. It's just his nose pouring a whole load of indigo blood down his face.]

[Wow, that's a lot of indigo blood. Equius gawks for a moment, then gets a towel out of his sylladex and offers it to him.]

Here. Hold that over your nose and press down.

[Nosebleeds gush, okay. Especially when you cracked your nose into your boyfriend the mountain.

Gamzee does as instructed though, not even caring that he is sitting in waist deep water, getting his pants nice and wet, blood on his shirt, and a towel smushed up against his face to stop the bleeding.]

Hehehe.

[Oh good, he's not mad about bloodying his nose on Equius' chest. Equius doesn't feel too bad about it, since it was Gamzee who pushed him over, and he looks at his matesprit with a bemused expression.]

What's so funny?

[He sounds a little stiffled and wet. Probably cause there is blood in his throat and a towel on his face.]

Dat wa' fuckin' dunb.

Maybe not your smartest move ever, no.

[Equius leans in, looking concerned.]

It doesn't hurt too badly, does it?

I'll probably end up with a couple hundred myself

if you are going for a couple hundred, premium is prob cheaper.

yeah, probably /frets over natural cheapness vs. need to have 20 icons of Equius crossing his arms
