Thank you, as am I.

Ky shook Jade's hand, then moved to withdraw his own, only to find Jade's coming with when he tugged. ]
Aah?
no subject
I don't recall putting superglue on my hands.
no subject
I don't know what that is, but my hands were clean as well.
no subject
I'm entirely unsure of the cause..
no subject
I suppose we can hope that the fact that it didn't start Sunday night means that it won't last all week.

FOR ZELDA
no subject
As is promptly evidenced by the fact that one of them snaps out from underneath her just as she's passing Ky. It's pure instinct to reach out towards him to grab, but the moment she does it she realizes what's likely to happen. Hopefully he'll just let her crash face first into the pavement.]
no subject
There, I...
[And then he remembers the curse, when she's stable enough, and tries to pull his hand back. Which doesn't work.]
no subject
Thank you.
[He meant well, after all. She should thank him. Sadly, his arm is definitely not the pavement. Of course it's just her luck that they get stuck together. Zelda closes her eyes and sighs, shifting around awkwardly to check on her shoes and attempt to break off her other heel, doubling over Ky's arm to accomplish it.]
It seems one of my heels broke. It shouldn't take long to fix.
[Then... well, one of them will just have to walk backwards.]
no subject
Where were you headed?
[Beyond the opposite direction as him...]
no subject
Back home. I have been attempting to not leave the house whenever possible this week, but we were out of perishable items. I am the only one currently capable of shopping properly, so...
[She has perishable items Ky, obviously they should go where she was going.]
no subject
[ Ky had, after all, just been taking a walk. No reason he can't do that backwards in the direction of Zelda's place, even if the idea of being in contact all the time is uncomfortable. ]
Is everyone who lives with you going to be alright?
[ Ky's not certain how many people do live with her -- the only one he's certain of is Zelos -- but it had seemed like a lot when he had been there. ]

FOR SOL BADGUY
no subject
Sol doesn't even peer down at Ky upon deciding that he doesn't really care to be around the kid at the moment. Especially not when he starts off a conversation with "if you have a moment"--no, that just isn't going to end well and Sol's already acutely aware of the fact. That means a long conversation, and one of those plus Ky is about equivocal to torture. On and on and on...
And so the immediate response is to walk past Ky heading in the direction the boy'd just come from, dismissive hands-in-pockets hunch and mindless shoulder collision and...
...all?
Or not.
no subject
He's opening his mouth to spit out a complaint, to call after Sol, only to feel himself being tugged, and Sol stopping, just a step past where Ky had been.
"This again." Ky huffs a little, taking care to make sure he was standing solidly on the ground. "Please don't make any sudden movements until this wears off."
no subject
As for their current predicament, Sol mentally meanders through chemical and biological explanations for it. Then gives up because no matter how many he can come up with to explain the phenomenon (and he can come up with quite a few off the top of his head without putting forth much effort), it's Vatheon and it's probably going to stay like this as long as it damn well pleases.
"Again?" he parrots instead, tone flat. And then Ky confirms the fact that Vatheon is run by a bag of dicks, probably. "Tch."
no subject
"Yes, again. This appears to be what's happening this week." Ky swallows the rest of the explanation that he so badly wants to give, the detailed summary of who Ky was stuck to, the circumstances, and how long it took to become unstuck.
"It seems like it will wear off, sometime between two and six hours, from personal experience so far. It's activated by touching, any sort of contact, and the particular time that it wears off doesn't seem to be connected to anything. It's not like it's always midnight or something." Oh, wait, that's not a very good job of swallowing his explanation. Whoops.
no subject
Yeah, the explanation really isn't needed, but thanks anyway. Sarcasm. Sol cocks his head towards the shoulder farther from Ky, same hand on his hip.
"'Course it ain't." A little too fairytale there with that sort of estimation, princess. So now the goal is how to make this as painless as possible.
no subject
Ky's brain might be in one piece -- certainly is, even as war-influenced as his circumstances have been -- but that doesn't mean that he is exempt from needing other input in order to come to other conclusions than the ones that he has come to before. If he always knows what he's always known... The point is that Sol could clear things up, could with not very much effort make a rather big difference to how Ky thinks about things, so if he's doing them wrong Sol should let him know. That's just common sense.
"Curses often last until midnight, even for ones that don't last the whole day." It's not fairytale if it's what actually happens, and there's no reason for Sol not to acknowledge that Ky has greater experience with this, and tends to pay a lot more attention to what's going on over the network.

FOR MAO LU-SHEN
no subject
Being used to navigating narrow hallways, he's also used to the occasional touch in them, brushing against others, and so it makes little difference to him when he feels a solid body brush into his shoulder. He lifts his head, at first with a slight smile, seeing who it is. He opens his mouth to say hello and to apologize for the bump, but the words fall silent as he realizes that his shoulder isn't detaching from Ky's. He tugs at it slightly, brows furrowing for a moment.
He sighs.
"Well, what's this then?"
no subject
"I'm sorry," Ky apologizes, twisting so he can look at Lu-Shen, at least. "It appears that what the coral is making us do now is that sometimes, when people touch, they get stuck. The amount of time it lasts hasn't been too bad in my experience so far, but there isn't anything specifically that can be done to make if stop.
"If you'd like, I can make you some tea in my apartment while we wait."
