We should both be able to do paperwork like this, with the proper position.

Jade isn't left-handed, but so long as they can defend themselves in an emergency, there shouldn't be anything to worry about.]

It'd likely take a little effort.

I'm sure that anything we can do at this point might take some effort, but that doesn't mean we can afford to stand around and do nothing.

Given the positioning of our hands, one of us might either need to walk backwards or with an arm behind their back.

Indeed. I suppose we'll both have to participate in patrol today.

...It would probably be best to figure out if me attempting to draw on my magic would hurt you. I can do it at a low level for a test, so that if the answer is yes you won't feel much beyond a static shock.

[Jade nodded. His Magic likely wouldn't have any effect on Ky, considering the range. However, it meant his spear was unusable.]

[ Electricity crackled for half a second around Ky, before it spread from his body to Jade. He hasn't lied, it really shouldn't feel much stronger than static electricity at that point, but Ky let out an irritated huff. Well. That was inconvenient. ]

[Jade's hair stood on end a little bit, but other than that, it wasn't anything to worry about. He wiggled his nose and looked to Ky.]

That didn't feel horrible. I'm sure people use that for therapy in some situations.

It was the lowest power buildup I can do. I didn't wish to hurt you. If we do have to fight now, though, it means I will be mostly useless. Since I can't easily wield my sword with my left hand, or while attached to someone else.

In any case, my magic is still available in theory.
