[Summoner has been spending his entire morning cleaning up the camp grounds and getting it ready for setup for the picnic. Tavros seems pretty excited about this idea and that's showing to be contagious. The orange blood clears out sticks that have fallen, makes sure the fire pit is ready if they wish to use it later in the day, wood is stocked. He removes a few wood tables from his sylladex and puts them in various places, covering them with table clothes, leaving a large open space of grass for any various games Tavros wants to get up when he gets there.]

[Soon Lysunder moves into his hive to start getting food to prepare, just general setup before he can really get things done. He's made sure to have a lot ready, meat as well. Summoner's better that cooking seafood so he has that too, but he's made sure to have a lot of options. Lysunder doesn't want to do too much now though, he'd rather have Tavros help, and well, anyone else that has the interest in doing so.]

Preparation/Pre Picnic

-=Tav comes running up to the clearing fairly early. He'd spent the past couple of days looking into human earth games and other picnic activities of the hopefully non-dangerous variety.

In his excitement he ends up tripping on air and lands flat on his face with a metallic thunk, though he seems mostly unfazed and undeterred by this=-

[Summoner jerks towards him but before he could possibly get to him, Tavros is down for the count. He purses his lips and makes his way over, helping him up.]

Leg's still giving you troubles?

[With everything set up, it's just a waiting game. Summoner makes sure all the food is setup as well as any last minute changes or fixes to the games. He's left the treehouse open for people to lounge in if they'd like to and there are refreshments in there as well.]

[ Once the word picnic is been uttered there is no stopping Feferi. For having been here only a few days, it's already been pretty eventful, but if it weighs on her at all, it doesn't show as she makes her appearance, a little fashionably late from having to find her way. ]

[Feferi, prepare to be tacklepounced! Because Nepeta has spotted her arriving and has decided no friend of hers is going ungreeted today.]

[Eridan isn't even sure why he's here, this is some stinking landdweller picnic bullshit, nothing he cares for--but he figures it's better than just sitting around the hive and there is food. No one can blame him for coming for that. Who cares if he thinks the summoner and Tavros are both idiotic tools, he can come out to social events, obviously. It's much to his relief when he notices Feferi here--but at the same time, yep sure haven't mentioned the fact they aren't a pale-thing. Fuck.]

[He contemplates fleeing, as if it was an appropriate response, but surely his purple as shit cape is anything if noticeable and there's no way he could honestly abscond without her seeing him. Resigning to his fate, he approaches her himself, an apprehensiveness to his step.]

Why am I hardly surprised I'd see you at this land-picnic, Fef?

[He has yet to meet this... seadweller. Knowing she isn't the Condesce and knowing she is apparently well liked, Summoner has just steered clear of her completely, just in case. It's hard enough trying to not joint Gamzee up with his caste. But Feferi's blood colour? It doesn't make him feel the best.]

[Equius sneaks in to the picnic a little late, after the festivities have already started. He's trying to avoid Feferi. Shut up, feelings are hard, okay? He approaches Nepeta, where she's laying in the grass, and looks down at her.]

[Cielo had stumbled upon this little get together completely on accident. He had been exploring the city when he had seen the forest and are those trees!? So, naturally, he went right in and through sheer luck, had ended up right in the area.

He had never seen a troll before, and at first, he thought Nepeta was a demon, but there was definitely something not demonlike about her. Well, when one has questions, one should ask them, right? A bit carefully, he approached her.]

[Careful where you roll there, Miss Kitty. There might be a rabbit hole and it'd be sort of bad to fall into and onto unsuspecting rabbits.

Of course...the have eaten carrots strew along the outside might be a nice tip off.]

[Chie had gone into the forest to find a good spot to practice her kung fu. Sure, she had only been in Vatheon for a day now, but after doing some investigating she'd figured that if there was no way out she should still go back to her daily regimen of training! But, what was this?

She happened across a group of...what even were they? Chie hadn't actually seen trolls before, she'd somehow managed encountering any at all in her search for information, so this sight really threw her off. She did spot a human amongst them, although, but even if they weren't a threat she couldn't exactly just barge into a picnic now could she?

Instead of approaching, she just stood and watched them from afar. They were sort of interesting actually..]

[Interesting, and curious. Nepeta had been running around pouncing on everyone who stood still long enough, laughing before running to the next person who, in her expert opinion, needed a hug from her and needed it now.

But in the middle of this pouncing spree she catches an unfamiliar scent. Oh? Perhaps the girl standing on the outskirts was a friend of one of her friends but was too shy to join in. She needed to greet her! And indeed, Chie will soon see a troll with messy black hair covered by a kitty hood and wearing a long trenchcoat run towards her.]

[Look who is standing towards the edge of the clearing, tossing a small, flabby ball in the air and bouncing it off his feet. Anyone up for a game of Troll Hackysack?]

[ Serph has no idea what a troll is, nor does he know what that floppy looking ball is. Why is he bouncing it off his feet...?

Since the person seems preoccupied for now, Serph'll just observe from his position leaning cross-armed against a tree, neither hiding nor announcing his presence. ]

Re: Picnic

[Zelda attempts to show up to the picnic after any games have already started - about half an hour late. She's looking around carefully, wary of being pulled into anything potentially humiliating.]
