[It's not that unusual to see Izaya looking happy. It's just unusual to see him lugging so much shit with him. Okay, it's not a lot, but by his standard- it's too much.

There's a telescope slung around his shoulder, a blanket under the other arm, and then a basket filled with who knows what, probably heads of dullahans or something, in his spare hand.

He's peering up at the bubble as he makes his way towards the elevator.

When. Oh no. A book that had been crammed into the top of the basket topples out. The tragedy.

But look.

Izaya keeps walking. Wow, his attention must be elsewhere pretty intense. And what is that book anyway? It looks weird. Are those instructions on human sacrifice------!!!

Actually it's just a fairy tale. But who can read kanji anyway? Aw look at the fairies-]

[ He's not really good at communicating with people and being stoic and silent was the usual thing with him. ]

I never said there was anything wrong with it.

[ He replied bluntly. He wouldn't just tell a stranger that he wasn't used to having people use formalities with him like that......well outside of what he used to do for a living. Those people didn't count because he controlled them. This was different. ]

I suppose you have a point.

[ He mused with a nod. The way he explained it made enough sense to the vampire to accept it. If he was that kind of person then it was clear that he would be capable of what he explained. Compared to most human beings, well this one was certainly different from all the rest. ]

[ Polite kind of guy? Oh if he knew what Duzell could do to people, he would have different thoughts. All humans are like that. He seemed pleasant enough most of the time but he was a pretty cruel thing when time calls for it. ]

Duzell.

[ So that's the name of the person. Duzell watches the hand for a moment uncertain how to respond since human contact and actions were something he usually just avoided all together, but eventually he brought up a cold hand to shake the other's.

He'll have to keep an eye on this Izaya person. ]

[Izaya had met people with better conversational skills but he's not really one to judge. Besides, there were a lot of people in Vatheon from weird worlds and who had weird positions that seriously limited their normalcy.

Because as we know, Izaya is the most normal guy around.]

It's nice to meet you Duzell. Pretty interesting name.

[See: weird. And ironically enough, Izaya might not be quite as like others as Duzell would imagine. If anything, he'd embrace that power within Duzell.

But that's for a whole other time entirely, now, isn't it?]

My, you seem so quiet and stern! Nya, so many guys around Vatheon seem so stiff in posture and expression. Say, have you ever star gazed? You could come with me if you like.

[He hasn't let go of Duzell's hand yet. Actually, he's sort of intrigued by how cold it is.]

Such poor blood circulation. Unless of course you're a vampire or something dead like that.

[It's meant as a joke, honestly, but at the same time Izaya does know a few demons and vampires around Vatheon that it wouldn't totally surprise him.

He let's go then and turns his back on Duzell.]

We could have a nice little date up on the island.

[ Duzell wasn't really good at expressing himself. Vampire Kings don't need to act happy or friendly. They're gloomy things and he certainly was the fine definition of it. He wasn't really normal either so it was to be expected.

As normal as he thinks. Duzell finds this human a lot stranger than most..if not intriguing. ]

Is it?

[ Duzell wouldn't doubt it if he learned more about Izaya but for right now he seemed like most humans if not slightly twisted on his own accord. The human' wasn't the typical normal ones per say. ]

Is that suppose to mean something?

[ He replied staring at Izaya at what he was saying and wait did the kid just say star gazing? Why the hell would he do that? He wasn't one for such cheesy things. ] I am not interested in something like that.

[ He wondered why the other hadn't let go of his hand yet. ]

Is that so?

[ He won't set aside that the boy was pretty perceptive but there are a lot of people here that weren't human. It wasn't surprising even if it were a harmless joke. ]

[ He replied his face changing expression because this conversation was getting strange.... ]
