◣ VALENTINE'S PARTY ◢

✗ The host club's doors are closed for most of the morning, locals scurrying in and out with an odd flair to help set up for the big event. That sure is a lot of pink and red being carted inside. They must be going all out for this Zelos fellow. Who knows why.

Residents that wander around the plaza for any reason will find a local approaching them, hyping up some aspect of the party that might appeal to them. The lights, the music, the dancing! The chance for gossip! Here, if your date goes poorly, we'll treat you to a drink. If your date goes well, we'll treat you to a drink. If you just want a drink for the sake of it... hey, you get the picture! It's something for both the single and taken alike, and the people of the city seem to be more than happy reminding you of this fact whenever they can.

✗ When it hits noon, all characters who have signed up for blind dates will receive an anonymous text. They will be wished a Happy Valentine's Day, congratulated on their upcoming date, and be asked to arrive at the host club between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. They will be given more instructions upon their arrival. And wear something flattering~! <3

✗ On their arrival to the club, blind date participants will be given a mask to wear. Once they put it on (and ONLY when they put it on), they will be given a number and escorted inside. The tables are covered in tableclothes of varying shades of white, red, and pink, elaborate flower arrangements in the center. While you are waiting for your date, feel free to enjoy the berries and chocolates set at each table, all appropriately cut into hearts and fish.

The meal itself will be three courses - an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. The menus offered will be quite broad, noting quite well for allergies. Everything just seems to be very... pink. Even well-cooked meat and dark chocolate delicacies has been given a splash of decorative color in favor of the holiday. Is that candy on the top? Oh well. It doesn't look like a "CALL ME XOXO" heart will really kill you.

Masks will be difficult to take off until at least one course of food has been consumed. It seems like someone wants you to enjoy the spirit of your "blind date"!

A NOTE: The masks will block both identity AND, in some cases, a person's gender, until they are removed. Gender identification will be up to the players!

✗ At 6:30, the club is opened for everyone else. Feel free to adventure up to the bar or glance around at the couples. They might be a little unrecognizable, what, with those strange masks on. They look so familiar, but you just can't place who is who. Oh well. Mingle a bit and solve the mystery with those around you! Have a drink. Talk about your love life or lack thereof. A bartender is always there to lend you an ear.

✗ At 7:00, the tables are cleared, the lighting is dimmed down, music is turned up, and the center of the club becomes a dance floor! Plush red couches line the edges for those that have had a rough night, and small tables of chocolates, sweets, heart-shaped h'orderves and various colors of roses dot the area. Locals are working alongside the host club and maid cafe to make sure things are kept in stock. No getting close to the bar if you're under-aged or we may just have to end your evening right here and now!

Zelos Wilder, Ganymede, & Hisoka Kurosaki

The largest of the tables, along with the most comfortable chairs. The locals have went out of their way for the leader of the host club and his.... ahem, lovely dates.

[Needless to say, Hisoka felt awkward when he found out he was at the largest of tables. All the other tables had pairs, but to be at a table with more than one person? He was thrown for a loop. Why did things like this happen to him? He didn't even know how he got chosen for this in the first place.

He was dressed nicely in a white suit-ish type of outfit, with a violet vest that had silver buttons, white pants, a white overcoat and a white button-up shirt. He wore white loafers on his feet and the mask over his face. He honestly doubted that anyone would know who he was, especially with him being so new.

Hesitantly, he sat down at the table and awaited anyone else who would be at the table.]

[Zelos is hardly ever late unless it's fashionably so, and on the night of a date, that's never the case.

Only Guy's little revenge for the chocolates had him attacking his hair for so long he'd lost track of time and is now an entire ten minutes late for his own event! Unforgivable, Guy's going to pay.

Still, when he arrives at the table, mask in place and resplendent in his tailored suit with deep red vest and his hair tamed into a long braid, he gives that same charming smile he's known for and kisses Hisoka's hand by way of greeting, apparently completely unaware that he is, in fact, a man. These masks...]

I hope you weren't waiting long, my green-eyed beauty~

[Ganymede is later still, mostly out of stubbornness. He's still not 100% certain what Valentines Day is, or why he would be invited somewhere for it. He doesn't like not knowing who his host is, he's sure he won't like the food, and almost certainly won't like the company.

In the end it's curiosity that has him scurrying in just a few minutes after Zelos. He hadn't been expecting this, and doesn't have anything formal to wear, other than the same dress outfit he'd arrived in, and so shows up in that, with all the delicate jewelry that's part of the outfit, including the delicate gold chains in his long blond hair.

He wrinkles his nose up under the mask, uncomfortable with the restriction, and makes his way over to the table he's been assigned to. It's only when he finally gets there that the nerves start to kick in, just a little. Still, he's not one to let that show, and he lifts his chin a bit haughtily before sitting down in the one seat left available.

But he doesn't say anything just yet. He's not even really sure what a date is.]

[Hisoka shifts uncomfortably. He's not sure whether to be okay or creeped out. The comment by Zelos most assuredly has unnerved him. Basically he's not sure how to react. Especially since what was said sounded like something that someone he knew would say.

As the other person arrived, Hisoka was really not sure how this would go. A three-person blind date? Surely someone was trying to do this to make fun. The shinigami can even sense - albeit a bit foggy due to the masks that were given - that the newest arrival also seemed to be a bit out of their element.

Hisoka shifts some in his chair.]

No... Not too long... A few minutes maybe.

[Zelos' reply is interrupted by Ganymede's arrival, which makes the redhead's smile even broader. Slight of frame but well dressed, with jewelry hanging from most available surfaces, and those bright blue eyes from under the mask. Well well, he did luck out.

Ever the gentleman (at least on a date), Zelos stands to hold the chair out for the new arrival and pushes her in gently before taking back his own seat.]

I hope the two of you don't mind sharing~ I know it's unusual but there were an odd number of people signed up and I just didn't have the heart to turn anyone away. No one deserves to be alone on Valentine's day~

[Ganymede can see everyone and everything exactly the way they are, mostly because he doesn't know either of these people and he doesn't know what a date is, or the point of this holiday. None of it makes sense anyhow, there's no use obscuring it.

He isn't, at least, aware that three people is strange, and so he can't be annoyed about it yet. Though he is annoyed about being pushed into the chair by a redheaded man.

Of course, then Zelos goes and spills it, revealing that the situation is unusual and the rest. His back goes stiff, and he makes a huff, his arms crossing delicately against his chest, looking off to the side.]

If three is unusual then I might as well go. Whatever this is, I didn't ask for it anyhow.
