There is a clearing not too into the forest that has obviously gotten some abuse in the past. It sits on the bottom of a hill and much of the vegetation has been burned away; the hill itself looks as if it has been gouged on occasion by something very large.

Right now, it may be obvious what the cause may have been: a large white dragon sits on the edge, though at the moment she seems contented to lounge on her belly, eyes half-closed. Nothing nearly so traumatic as destroying part of the hill is going on right now; instead she is watching over her trainer with a much smaller beast.

N has a sword in hand, though the scabbard is still on it, and he is all but dancing around, blocking as his Zorua lunges at him, swiping at him again and again.

It is all very serious until the fox Pokemon apparently has had enough. The Zorua jumps up and grabs ahold of the scabbard, pulling down on it with a playful growl.

"H-hey! This is not tug of war!" N protests, but he ends up laughing as he tries to wrest the sword away from him.

I can't say that's entirely fortunate.

[He glances at the Pokemon.]

Yes! This is Krishna. He's a Zorua.

[He adjust his glances, inspecting the creature.]

A Pokemon. I've never seen this one before.

There are actually several around Vatheon now! I have two, Minato has their brother -- then Hilbert has one.

Breeding? Last time it was Eevee.

That's right. I remember your Eevee! Did she come back with you?

[beautifies]

It's an Umbreon. An acquaintance of mine seems to have kept her in my absence.

[singularjustice]

Already! I did not know there were stones here; that's amazing! I'm sure she's glad to see you again.

[ Hajime had seemed to be a good, if strange, trainer, as far as N could tell. ]

What stone? It evolved on its own.

[HE SPOILED HIS ADORABLE EEVEE TOO MUCH...AND THEN IT BECAME AN UMBREON BECAUSE THEY WERE BEST FRIENDS. SOB.]

Oh, wait! Umbreons evolve because of happiness, right? I haven't had much experience with Eevees...

[ Despite his extensive knowledge, even he made mistakes. ]

[Hajime was only familiar with the first three Eevee evolutions. Now he's feeling...good. His Eevee rabued him...]

Yes! When they are very happy with their partner, they evolve! If they reach the evolution stage at night they become Umbreons; during the day they become Espeons!

You must be a very good trainer, for that to happen.
