wake up in the morning, feeling like--a mortal?
Who: A human(?!) goddess of death and you lovelies~
Where: Starting at a cafe, thescene of the "crime" amusement park, and anywhere else...
When: Second day of the power swap week.
Style: I'll follow your lead.
Status: Open like the gates to Hell-- I MEAN UH
?
So, this is what it felt like. Not only to be alive once more, but a completely different kind of entity as well. Was this what that child of the potential had meant when he spoke of curses that could change you? Most intriguing...
Regardless, she would continue on with her day as though nothing was wrong. Though it was clear from the start. She was in her female form, yet could not float. Female, yet her eyes did not glow bright crimson and the deaths of countless mortals. The screams and final breaths were not in the air, yet resonated with another portion of her soul... What utter foolishness.
Cafe
Izanami first stops at a cafe, finding herself in need (for once) of human sustenance. It was strange to her, actually needing it when before she would only participate in the activity when it was polite to her invited guests.
Do you dare bother a seemingly normal human woman as she stops by for lunch?
Amusement Park
Eventually she stops wandering around town, glancing up at the many rides and attractions her feet seemed to lead her toward as she was lost deep in thought. It was rare that she would give way to such mannerisms, lose all sense of her surroundings. Not that she had much attachment at all to what humans would consider entertaining. No, far from it.
Her gaze averts from the ferris wheel and she doesn't spare even one single glimpse back toward it afterward. No, not suspicious at all. If anything, she seemed almost bored.

This is the stuff she prefers. And maybe the delicious taste of sweets would help wash away the taste of flesh.
She casually approaches the small line forming, standing behind Izanami as she glances at the menu above. Luckily, since everything is still free, things move quickly...]
no subject
Little more crowded here than the usual, isn't it?
[Not like she would know, only stopping by occasionally so not as to bring suspicion from anyone aside from those who knew her from Inaba...]
no subject
A little bit, yeah.
[...Honestly, she hadn't noticed. But if this woman said so. Shrug--]
I...guess it could have something to do with the curse this week.
no subject
It would certainly seem that way. Almost funny, what one small change can do...
no subject
[Yukari almost has to laugh. Yes, "small" -- it's no big deal, Lamufao, just completely change who she is and uproot her life for a week. Forcing her to eat her own kind...
She doesn't mind at all.
No, this isn't small in Yukari's book.
But it's all right. She'll grin bitterly and bear it
all.]...Maybe.
I take it you weren't affected, then.

Nobody should be surprised.
So when he runs into her at the Amusement Park (he hadn't been doing anything but wandering around, really. It'd been a boring day for him too.), he frowns slightly.]
I didn't think you of all people would want to be in a place like this.
[But then again, he had seen her at that party too.]
no subject
And what, child, might give you that impression?
[Humanity as a whole weren't the only ones who were curious. With what recently was found here, who could blame her for being even more intrigued?]
no subject
Isn't it a little childish for old ladies?
[And goddesses. But he's just going to leave it at that.] Of course, you could always be just sneaking around again.
no subject
Do not even the elderly visit places they normally wouldn't with their younger relatives? [Which, oh dear, wasn't she partially responsible for your existence even being possible?] I will admit that this is not an area I visit often, though I must say..
[Oh dear. That smirk just isn't natural, even though it looks more pleasant than her usual chagrin. Perhaps it is because of her indifference, or maybe it was disappointment as she vaguely motions to the direction of the ferris wheel...]
You might be surprised that even a place for amusing entertainment can be deadly in and of itself.
no subject
What younger relatives do you have? [He's not even going to think about that one, okay.
WHY ARE YOU SO CREEPY. Stop being so creepy, maybe he wouldn't be so suspicious all the time.]
...Yeah? Are you talking from experience?
[His eyes are kind of narrowing here.]

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you.
[He doesn't exactly recognize her yet, oops.]
no subject
That apology, however, causes a faint, strange mixture of her "normal" chuckle and the female voice of her goddess self. It's odd for her, not to hear the undertone of Death for herself.]
It is alright, child... [A slight smirk, and she's grateful her tea didn't spill.] Perhaps one should be more aware of their surroundings.
no subject
Even the appearance, in a way. Similarities...
Minato blinks. And again. And he nods.]
I'll be more careful, thank you. ...Izanami-san?
no subject
Or she could just be sarcastic and not mean a single bit about the sentiment. Who ever truly knows, especially when she's rather irked about her current situation.]
Yes, Arisato-kun? [Izanami smirks faintly, moving to the side so others could pass and she wouldn't be bumped into again.]
no subject
And he moves to the side as well, tilting his head.]
Did the curse affect you as well, then?

...That's no ordinary dog. Whether or not you recognize Amaterasu for who she is, though...]
no subject
After all, if her guess was right, this was another reality's version of her niece.]
My, you're a hungry one, aren't you?
no subject
[She hops up onto a chair next to Izanami, taking the offering and gobbling it right up.]
no subject
Hm... Perhaps I should have ordered more, then.
no subject
Apparently he agrees to bring her the usual? At any rate, it certainly seems that Ammy has given most of the restaurants a run for their money.

It's with no goal in mind that Terra finds himself walking past the café, his attention only vaguely on the path in front of him. Most of it was focused on the innocent-seeming card in his hand. Innocent-seeming, but he'd seen the glow the card had when he'd first found it, and there was an odd sensation in the depths of his mind that only strengthened as he tried to figure out what the card was.
Of course, it's impossible to stay focused for long when your stomach is very kindly reminding you that you haven't eaten all day and there is a source of food nearby.
Cue irritation and talking to himself.] Fine... I'll get something.
[He didn't feel like heading back home and making something, so the café was as good a place as any. It wasn't like he had to pay for it.
Though... is that a familiar face over there?]
no subject
...Terra-san?
[> She seems innocent enough, merely sitting there.]
[> There is also an empty chair opposite her at the table...]
[> Join her?]
no subject
But the voice is familiar enough, and upon looking in the direction it came from, the owner of that voice is also familiar.
It's nice to see a friendly face.] Oh. Michiko. I didn't know you liked to come here.
[Silly Terra, assuming that she's a regular. But he's definitely taking note of that empty seat, and... well. She is the only person here that he knows...
Walking over, that card he was puzzling over going into a pocket. The corner is still sticking out, but it's unlikely that the card is going to escape it's new location any time soon.] Do you mind if I join you?
[What? Sometimes, people want to sit alone.]
and then everyone in KH and P4 casts everywhere facepalmed loudly...
I come here every now and then... [It wasn't a complete lie... She does her part to help around town at times, greet newcomers... It kept her occupied as the days went by.]
Not at all. ["Michiko" nods to the chair, but as she turned to briefly toss some garbage away when she caught sight of something blue in Terra's pocket... Something very... very familiar. ...A smirk crosses her lips as her back's turned briefly before it fades and she sits down again, motioning for Terra to sit as well.] A meal is always better with company.
and not a single mun was surprised.
[Going to be taking a look through the menu now, perfectly oblivious.] Anything you'd recommend here? I don't think I've even heard of half of this.
[Or even knows why someone would put some of those combinations together. Some worlds are strange.]
