wake up in the morning, feeling like--a mortal?
Who: A human(?!) goddess of death and you lovelies~
Where: Starting at a cafe, thescene of the "crime" amusement park, and anywhere else...
When: Second day of the power swap week.
Style: I'll follow your lead.
Status: Open like the gates to Hell-- I MEAN UH
?
So, this is what it felt like. Not only to be alive once more, but a completely different kind of entity as well. Was this what that child of the potential had meant when he spoke of curses that could change you? Most intriguing...
Regardless, she would continue on with her day as though nothing was wrong. Though it was clear from the start. She was in her female form, yet could not float. Female, yet her eyes did not glow bright crimson and the deaths of countless mortals. The screams and final breaths were not in the air, yet resonated with another portion of her soul... What utter foolishness.
Cafe
Izanami first stops at a cafe, finding herself in need (for once) of human sustenance. It was strange to her, actually needing it when before she would only participate in the activity when it was polite to her invited guests.
Do you dare bother a seemingly normal human woman as she stops by for lunch?
Amusement Park
Eventually she stops wandering around town, glancing up at the many rides and attractions her feet seemed to lead her toward as she was lost deep in thought. It was rare that she would give way to such mannerisms, lose all sense of her surroundings. Not that she had much attachment at all to what humans would consider entertaining. No, far from it.
Her gaze averts from the ferris wheel and she doesn't spare even one single glimpse back toward it afterward. No, not suspicious at all. If anything, she seemed almost bored.

Nobody should be surprised.
So when he runs into her at the Amusement Park (he hadn't been doing anything but wandering around, really. It'd been a boring day for him too.), he frowns slightly.]
I didn't think you of all people would want to be in a place like this.
[But then again, he had seen her at that party too.]
no subject
And what, child, might give you that impression?
[Humanity as a whole weren't the only ones who were curious. With what recently was found here, who could blame her for being even more intrigued?]
no subject
Isn't it a little childish for old ladies?
[And goddesses. But he's just going to leave it at that.] Of course, you could always be just sneaking around again.
no subject
Do not even the elderly visit places they normally wouldn't with their younger relatives? [Which, oh dear, wasn't she partially responsible for your existence even being possible?] I will admit that this is not an area I visit often, though I must say..
[Oh dear. That smirk just isn't natural, even though it looks more pleasant than her usual chagrin. Perhaps it is because of her indifference, or maybe it was disappointment as she vaguely motions to the direction of the ferris wheel...]
You might be surprised that even a place for amusing entertainment can be deadly in and of itself.
no subject
What younger relatives do you have? [He's not even going to think about that one, okay.
WHY ARE YOU SO CREEPY. Stop being so creepy, maybe he wouldn't be so suspicious all the time.]
...Yeah? Are you talking from experience?
[His eyes are kind of narrowing here.]
no subject
Whether or not he realizes it or not, she won't say it. It's up to him to realize it. Also, she's creepy because she is Death. Or at least an aspect of it... Usually.]
There was a dead body found here not too recently. [His eyes aren't the only ones narrowing.] It is curious that someone would mimic how they would be found as if they could not brave the hollow forest. Let alone so pathetically...
no subject
Oh. What. Even...]
What? They found a dead body?!
[Probably a bad thing to say, Izanami. It wasn't enough that the nurses had to play the practical joke, with the fog and the killing, but now with the one here?
Vatheon...he really hates you.]
((ooc: since i was on hiatus when Caden's death happened, i'm going to say that Yosuke was in a sleep coma for my hiatus and didn't know that it had happened. because it seems like he would've known and reacted to it otherwise. |D
if that's not cool, let me know! you might've figured by the nature of your tag but i just thought i'd clarify.))
no subject
The reaction, however, causes her to drop any semblance of a smug look for now.]
Indeed. Almost like deja vu, as they say. [Though think about it. Would she have mentioned it if she had been the one to kill them? She isn't Adachi, after all.] I awakened to the news, myself...
((ooc: It's perfectly fine~ |D))
no subject
Almost like deja vu? It is deja vu. [There's an edge on the tone of his voice, because really? He's not happy at all. But can you really blame him?] Yeah? Like you didn't know it was there anyway.
((ooc: |D /fails at rp forever))

It's hard to miss the image of a Hanged Man, or the presence of Death. [The separation, however short here, is hard to ignore.] I may have known it was once here, but the rest of the details are only known by those directly involved in the incident.
[She didn't choose any of them, and her power is limited. Much like Amaterasu cannot create a sun here, she cannot take hold of her powers completely.]
((ooc: you do not fail. :|))
no subject
Obviously. You're just all over it. [Hm...well he didn't figure she was directly involved, but--] So then, who did it?
[He'll go beat them up. B| Doing that isn't cool, man.]
((ooc: most of the time. last month? i did. LOL))
no subject
[Izanami chuckles at the question.] Isn't that the question the defense force has been asking since that poor girl found him...
[Like you have room to judge, Mr. Sought Vengeance Before The Verbal Smackdown.]
((ooc: Compared to me last month? NO YOU DID NOT.))
no subject
Yeah?
[A beat.]
The girl? Do you know who it was? [But he's not going to be fully expecting a straight answer, this time.
And shhh...we don't talk about that moment.]
((ooc: PFFF well...:T))
no subject
Unfortunately no; I merely caught a glimpse as I was passing by. Then I couldn't get a good look at her face, since her hood was up.
[Well what do you know, it was. Sort of. That is, if it wasn't a complete lie.
/brb talking about that moment to all the gods in the city.]
no subject
...Hood...
[Hm. He'll have to think about that, but then again it could've been something they only wore once. If Izanami is even telling the truth, anyway...
DON'T DO THAT NOOOO.] That gives me a lot to go on, thanks for that.
[Sarcastic much?]
no subject
You are welcome, Hanamura. [Ooh, does this call for a snark-off?
/DOES IT ANYWAY OHOHO~]
no subject
If this isn't going anywhere, I'm out.
[Sheesh.]
no subject
[She is merely kidding; that little truth is between him and the others from Inaba who were present.]
no subject
Enjoy his time here. Yeah. Sure.]
