wake up in the morning, feeling like--a mortal?
Who: A human(?!) goddess of death and you lovelies~
Where: Starting at a cafe, thescene of the "crime" amusement park, and anywhere else...
When: Second day of the power swap week.
Style: I'll follow your lead.
Status: Open like the gates to Hell-- I MEAN UH
?
So, this is what it felt like. Not only to be alive once more, but a completely different kind of entity as well. Was this what that child of the potential had meant when he spoke of curses that could change you? Most intriguing...
Regardless, she would continue on with her day as though nothing was wrong. Though it was clear from the start. She was in her female form, yet could not float. Female, yet her eyes did not glow bright crimson and the deaths of countless mortals. The screams and final breaths were not in the air, yet resonated with another portion of her soul... What utter foolishness.
Cafe
Izanami first stops at a cafe, finding herself in need (for once) of human sustenance. It was strange to her, actually needing it when before she would only participate in the activity when it was polite to her invited guests.
Do you dare bother a seemingly normal human woman as she stops by for lunch?
Amusement Park
Eventually she stops wandering around town, glancing up at the many rides and attractions her feet seemed to lead her toward as she was lost deep in thought. It was rare that she would give way to such mannerisms, lose all sense of her surroundings. Not that she had much attachment at all to what humans would consider entertaining. No, far from it.
Her gaze averts from the ferris wheel and she doesn't spare even one single glimpse back toward it afterward. No, not suspicious at all. If anything, she seemed almost bored.

[The dry chuckle almost makes her feel better about things. The curse doesn't seem to be bothering her as much as it does Yukari, yet she still gets the feeling they're in the same boat. She doesn't really know why... it's an odd feeling, and it renders her quiet for a moment.
But then she speaks again respectfully.]
Well, it's hard to tell for sure.
[Whether it could be worse or not-- or whether one is cursed in the first place, depending. She is studying her now, as if looking for signs of her curse.
But she is subtle about it...]

Sometimes, all that needs to be done is to give a gentle push. Izanami smiles faintly though; this girl seems to be at least relaxing a little.]
For some, perhaps. Yet one can only truly know oneself, regardless of how many people we let close.
[She shrugs it off, still giving that kind smile. After all, not many would recognize the fact she seems a lot less pale...]
no subject
[She feels forced to concede at that, though she is by no means trying to start an argument. She's used to shutting people out anyway, despite being a social person by nature; so even including those she let close, the numbers are few.
It's silent again as she thinks, but then she notices the tea and sandwich in front of her on the counter, with the clerk waiting patiently for her to take it with a grin.
He hadn't even made any attempt to get her attention at all.]
Oh. Uh, looks like your order's ready, too.
no subject
The clerk is one after her own (usually) undead heart, that much is certain.]
So it would seem. [She accepts her own order, looking to the girl again.] Though about what I said... It isn't completely impossible to understand one another. I hope I didn't insinuate otherwise.
no subject
She shakes her head.]
No, I think I understand.
[As would anyone who's ever had friends, really.]
It's just...easier to understand yourself, isn't it?
[Most of the time.]
no subject
Izanami chuckles at the last portion.]
Most of the time, perhaps. [She spares Yukari a faint smile; one that reveals little and lends to secrets hidden deep within.]
no subject
The smile is a mysterious one indeed. But just as not everyone knows everything about Yukari, she doesn't expect to know everything about other people. She is okay with it; she's used to it mostly, but--
Color her curious, as she smiles back. A small smile; subtle, polite.]
Can I ask you your name?
no subject
Michiko Shirasagi. [The god-turned-human laughs quietly.] It is nice to meet you...?
[She won't be rude and say her name right off the bat. Now that would be just too creepy.]
no subject
It's a Japanese name. The familiarity takes a bit of the edge off the creepiness, although she can still feel chills down her spine when she talks.
She shakes it off a bit though, and when prompted for her name, she responds.]
Yukari. Yukari Takeba. It's... nice to meet you, too.
[Her smile doesn't fade. But occassionally, she will glance at the counter to see if her order's complete.
When it is, she will take it in her hands, stepping away to allow for the next person.]
no subject
when in doubt, blame her true selfIzanami smiles a little more sincerely this time, giving a faint nod as she steps farther away from the line. After all, it would be rude to keep others waiting even longer simply due to conversation.Yukari... How nice it is to speak with another from the country she helped to create from the mists with her brother.]
Until next time, then, Takeba-san.
[...She begins to slip into the crowd.]

[She stares for a moment, distracted-- nearly forgetting why she's even here. But once she slips away, Yukari will, too. To a nearby table to enjoy her meal...
What a strange woman.]
