Who: Mithos and you!
Where: Next to Lamufao.
When: RIGHT NOW.
Style: Action tags.
Status: Open!
[ By the time Mithos arrives, he's soaked and looks like a drowned kitten. Coughing up lung-fulls of water, he sputters something about 'Pronyma' and being stupid. When he first arrives, it looks at first like he's someone else entirely, before reverting to this form; his child form. The change happens too quickly for anyone to tell that he was just in the form of Lord Yggdrasill; he just looks like a glowy ball. ]
P-Pronyma, what are you-- [ Cough, cough. By the time he finally gets up, he looks dazed, still disoriented, and still trying to steady his breathing. The Cruxis Crystal may mean he doesn't need food or sleep, but he still needs to breathe. The explosions of stars in his eyes gone, he looks up at the coral, clutching his side, where he had been hit by a Demon Fang earlier after having fought Lloyd's party in his Yggdrasill form only one day earlier; they had fared better than their first time around (despite still losing), and actually landed a few noteworthy hits on him. He still hadn't recovered from that, and another Demon Fang on an already sore spot was quite painful. ]
Wha... where am I?
[ Rodyle's Human Ranch? No, not unless Rodyle embezzled Desian funds to COMPLETELY RENOVATE THE ENTIRE RANCH WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION. This... this was something else entirely. ]

[ Sort of. Though healing does sound nice right about now. Her voice is strangely similar to that of his sister... ]
I was just in a fight, that's all.
[ He takes ahold of the brochure, and begins to rifle through it. He doesn't even look at the sandwiches. ]

[Zelda gestures to the shower. She steps away to make a little tea, mostly for the warming effect. He's soaked, after all! She doesn't say anything else for now, the sound of gently clinking pots is the only thing breaking the silence.]
no subject
[ It doesn't occur to him that Zelda wouldn't know what that is. And while he has been covered in salt water, a shower doesn't sound that bad... even if he loathes the idea of undressing in front of someone he doesn't even know. ]
Yeah... I guess so.
[ And then he walks off, shutting the door the the shower behind him. A second later, it opens a crack, and he tosses his clothes out, shutting it again quickly, the door locking behind him. ]

While the pot of tea is heating up, she moves and picks up his clothes, washing them quickly and drying them with a spell that seems to be a combination of wind and heat. She places them outside the bathroom door and mulls over if she should call Zelos over or not.
Probably not. He hadn't reacted well to the last person with this sort of mana who had arrived.]

The tea smells... nice.
[ Similar to the kind of tea his sister used to make, actually. ]

[She's been here for half a year now, though, so she's had plenty of time to practice. Zelda brings a cup over to Mithos and holds it out.]
Here you are. Be sure to drink it all so that you don't catch a cold, hmm?
no subject
Thanks.
[ It's said quietly, and meekly, as he takes a nother sip, occasionally glancing up at Zelda. ]
Where are you from?
[ Heimdall? ]
awww Mithos that face, so cute!
[She points up at one of her ears. The quick glance earlier was not missed.]
I am part of a race known as Hylians. From what I've been able to gather during my time here in Vatheon, the closest commonly known race to my own is called "elves". And where are you from?
no subject
I'm from...
[ What should he say? Aselia? Cruxis? ]
... from a city called 'Heimdall.' I'm a half-elf.
[ ... close enough. ]
no subject
Heimdall?
[It sounds vaguely familiar. Had she read about it in the library? She isn't sure... the boy seems a little secretive, though, so she doesn't pry.]
Well, it was nothing like this place, I am sure. You seem to be about as much of an underwater creature as I am!
no subject
[ He notices the reaction - or lack thereof. Then she really was from an entirely different world... maybe things were different here. And Heimdall wasn't anything like here. It was full of people who hated him, and nobody approached him the way she and a few others have. ]
This tea is nice.
[ He takes another sip, and feels a bit warmer already. ]
no subject
[No, Zelda has absolutely no qualms about inviting people over to her house. She's become much more accepting of visitors after having Zelos invade her space for so long. Besides, this is just a kid! And it seems like he's a little overwhelmed, or confused, or... something.]
D'awww, taking Mithos home
Thank you, Zelda...
[ And a yawn. Why was she being so good to him? When he didn't think he did much to deserve it? He was a half-elf! She should be leaving him here, not... making him tea and bringing him home like a stray puppy! ]
no subject
Of course. We've all been brought here together, so we should be able to depend on each other. We certainly can't depend on the locals.
[Mithos doesn't look quite young enough for her to offer her hand to him as she starts for the door, but she does motion for him to come along and walk slowly.]
no subject
If you say so...
[ She's been far more cordial to him than anyone else so far, and she's a "hylian." That's a start, at least. It's probably a good thing that she doesn't know who he really is, though; Zelos definitely doesn't need to know that, though if he sees him, he'll know immediately. ]
no subject
I do.
[As much as she says it, though, Zelda doesn't trust everyone in Vatheon. Hell, her neighbor is a crazed murderer. She doesn't trust him! Even so, she'd be likely to help him if the city inflicted something on him. No real progress is ever going to be made in this place until people start working together.
As they head towards the Ordo neighborhood, she points out the path that leads to the library as well as the one that leads to the park. Nowhere else is really on the way, so her short tour only includes that much. Judging from her expression when she says "library", she considers it to be one of the more important locations in the city.
It's only a fifteen minute walk at a good pace to get to the Ordo neighborhood. If Mithos isn't too sleepy, it's possible he'll even be able to sense Zelos from the doorstep.]
Here we are! Let me just see who is home.
[Zelos didn't react well to the last person with mana like this, after all. But this one is only a child!]
no subject
The difference here, Zelos has to reminds himself, is that Mithos has no real control over him in Vatheon. There's no Chosen system, no Seles to use as a barg-...
Ah.
He does have something to lose, doesn't he. He's made new friends and Lloyd, Colette, and Raine are here as well. A strength at times but here a weakness, a way for Mithos to manipulate him, a way for Zelos to have put people in danger.
Yet the Chosen still remains icily calm as he opens the door, though that ever present smile of his is nowhere to be seen, just a cold steel gaze.]
Mithos. Didn't think I'd ever see you again.
no subject
Following Zelda to her appartment, he immediately senses Zelos, so when the door opens, he isn't the least bit surprised to see him - nor is he the least bit friendly. ]
Zelos.
[ All the greeting he's getting. He squeezes Zelda's hand as he stares down Tethe'allan Chosen. ]
no subject
I see you two are already acquainted.
[To put it mildly. How she manages to not sound strained while saying that is anyone's guess.]
no subject
[If friends plot genocide, that is.
He's incredibly unsettled, his eyes remaining on the shorter blonde. He hates this form more than Yggdrasil, really. Looking like Colette, so unassuming and wide-eyed and innocent. What a joke. All that keeps Zelos calm is the fear that Mithos might tell Zelda exactly how far Zelos had gone. He'd told her he almost messed everything up but Mithos knew the entire extent. He couldn't antagonize him outright or he'd call Zelos out for what he really is: A traitor.
The redhead steps aside, allowing the other two access to the house. Even if he can't stand the thought of Mithos being there, holding Zelda's hand (he can clearly picture himself cutting the offending hand off, for that matter) he has to know when Mithos is from, has to make sure he's not from after they'd finally killed the little bastard.]
no subject
Mithos is fully aware that he has no real control over Zelos here. He has nothing left to hold over his head, and unless Lloyd is aware of what Zelos did, that's about it. Even if Mithos is by no means afraid of Zelos, he knows something Mithos doesn't - his future. And something tells him that he shouldn't look forward to what that might be.
Mithos would choose not to answer Zelda's question, and simply follow Zelda inside, if she went in. He didn't want to stray far from her side - naive as it might be, he trusted her far more than the Chosen of Tethe'alla. ]

There's a guest room right this way. It isn't much, but it should be fine until you can find a place that suits you.
[There, see Zelos? He's not staying FOREVER... She leads him upstairs and pauses in front of Shizuo's old room. He might have only been there for a few days, but she still thought of it as his. Looking a little wistful, Zelda opens the door.]
no subject
For now, he just waits until he can get Zelda alone long enough and far enough away from Mithos' angelically enhanced hearing to berate her for bringing home random strays. Again. She's going to be the death of him, he swears.
Problem being if Mithos figures Zelos actually cares about Zelda, he'll use her as incentive for the red-head to do his bidding; Lloyd and the girls are already known to him so they're another matter, but Zelda he can still snub in Mithos's presence to throw him off. He really has no idea what Mithos would make him do, or why even in this place since there's really nothing to drive the Seraph with his sister elsewhere, but that's simply Zelos's opinion of Mithos. He just assumes he'll be used.]
Mithos is gonna walk off for a while, feel free to have your quarrel!
Thanks. I'll look around tomorrow. I need some time to think.
[ Think. Not sleep. Mithos, like Kratos, doesn't need to sleep, eat, or drink. About the only 'normal' health concerns he has are hygiene and possibly disease. Shutting the door behind him, he goes to the window, and reads that brochure Zelda had given him back at the coral. ]
Gosh Zelda's just so excited for it!
I will be downstairs, then.
[She smiles and waves as Mithos shuts the door, then turns to Zelos, steeling herself for an argument. It doesn't need to be said that he wants to have a discussion, she knows he does. Zelda heads downstairs as she said she would, prepared for an incredibly uncomfortable discussion.]
