Who: Mithos and you!
Where: Next to Lamufao.
When: RIGHT NOW.
Style: Action tags.
Status: Open!
[ By the time Mithos arrives, he's soaked and looks like a drowned kitten. Coughing up lung-fulls of water, he sputters something about 'Pronyma' and being stupid. When he first arrives, it looks at first like he's someone else entirely, before reverting to this form; his child form. The change happens too quickly for anyone to tell that he was just in the form of Lord Yggdrasill; he just looks like a glowy ball. ]
P-Pronyma, what are you-- [ Cough, cough. By the time he finally gets up, he looks dazed, still disoriented, and still trying to steady his breathing. The Cruxis Crystal may mean he doesn't need food or sleep, but he still needs to breathe. The explosions of stars in his eyes gone, he looks up at the coral, clutching his side, where he had been hit by a Demon Fang earlier after having fought Lloyd's party in his Yggdrasill form only one day earlier; they had fared better than their first time around (despite still losing), and actually landed a few noteworthy hits on him. He still hadn't recovered from that, and another Demon Fang on an already sore spot was quite painful. ]
Wha... where am I?
[ Rodyle's Human Ranch? No, not unless Rodyle embezzled Desian funds to COMPLETELY RENOVATE THE ENTIRE RANCH WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION. This... this was something else entirely. ]

For now, he just waits until he can get Zelda alone long enough and far enough away from Mithos' angelically enhanced hearing to berate her for bringing home random strays. Again. She's going to be the death of him, he swears.
Problem being if Mithos figures Zelos actually cares about Zelda, he'll use her as incentive for the red-head to do his bidding; Lloyd and the girls are already known to him so they're another matter, but Zelda he can still snub in Mithos's presence to throw him off. He really has no idea what Mithos would make him do, or why even in this place since there's really nothing to drive the Seraph with his sister elsewhere, but that's simply Zelos's opinion of Mithos. He just assumes he'll be used.]
Mithos is gonna walk off for a while, feel free to have your quarrel!
Thanks. I'll look around tomorrow. I need some time to think.
[ Think. Not sleep. Mithos, like Kratos, doesn't need to sleep, eat, or drink. About the only 'normal' health concerns he has are hygiene and possibly disease. Shutting the door behind him, he goes to the window, and reads that brochure Zelda had given him back at the coral. ]
Gosh Zelda's just so excited for it!
I will be downstairs, then.
[She smiles and waves as Mithos shuts the door, then turns to Zelos, steeling herself for an argument. It doesn't need to be said that he wants to have a discussion, she knows he does. Zelda heads downstairs as she said she would, prepared for an incredibly uncomfortable discussion.]

Do you even think before bringing people back here?! You remember I told you who Mithos was, right?
no subject
[She glances to the side, flushing slightly.]
I apologize. He didn't say his name, but he's just a child...
[Zelda can't help but keep picturing his lost expression, or the embarrassment and bewilderment he displayed when she was kind to him. Could someone like that be as horrible as Zelos described?]
...regardless, he is here now. Acting hostile will only cause trouble.
no subject
[The words come out in strained hisses, Zelos barely able to keep his voice under the volume at which he knows Mithos can hear. He knows she's right, that open hostility will only provoke the same in return, but that doesn't mean he has to pretend they're suddenly best friends.
Damnit, he has to tell the others about this... and Lloyd doesn't even know the truth about Mithos being Yggdrasil.
Damnit!]

"Where are you from?"
"I'm a half-elf."
She closes her eyes as she thinks, seeing in retrospect just how loaded both of those statements had actually been. Racism is something she's only begun to encounter in Vatheon, it just wasn't something that happened in Hyrule. Perhaps with the Gerudo to some extent, but it was more in a defensive manner than anything else - they kidnapped people frequently, after all.]
Four thousand years...
[Rather than sounding bewildered, it sounds like she finds the idea painful. No one should have to live that long. Finally, Zelda seems to snap out of it.]
I am sorry, Zelos. I didn't intend to bring home an enemy of yours. If you would rather he leave, we can find him a place sooner instead of later - though it might not be a terrible idea to keep an eye on him. I can do so regardless of where he stays.
no subject
[Seemingly still angry, Zelos turns heel and returns to the part of the house where Mithos can hear them simply so Zelda can make no argument. His mouth sits in a thin, serious line as he grabs some extra towels just in case and formulates what he needs to say to Mithos.]

~I won't seek him out, then.~
Lacking other things to do, she heads to the downstairs spa for an extended soak
and scrubbling, of course.]no subject

[Zelos deposits himself leaning against the wall behind Mithos, folding his arms and looking out at the city as well as the Cruxian.]
Which is why I think we got off on the wrong foot. We shouldn't be fighting each other here, right? I mean, we're all in the same boat, dealing with the same stuff, displacement and all. There's no reason we can't be civil and work together to get out of this mess.
[The truth behind what he's saying definitely adds a note of sincerity.
Right?]no subject
[ Mithos sighs. His tone wasn't really all that hostile, more resigned to a "I really am stuck here, aren't I?" tone. A few seconds later, he turns to Zelos looking up at him. ]
I'm only going to believe you because I really hope you aren't dumb enough to make an enemy of me in a place we don't know a whole lot about. Don't make me regret it.
[ Yuan did. Look where he ended up.
Not that Mithos knows what happened after.]no subject
You know me! Despite popular opinion I'm a pretty sharp guy, I know how to play my cards.
[Zelos isn't sure he's ever loathed himself more but he keeps repeating that it's to protect his friends. He has to do it to protect his friends. Right.]
no subject
[ He actually sort of meant that. Mithos had no friends here, and Zelos only barely counted as an ally because of what he was holding over his head. He knew that didn't mean a damn thing here, but he had to start somewhere. Mithos hadn't felt this alone since Martel had first died. ]
So, Colette, Raine, and Lloyd are here. Anyone else?
no subject
That's all the people I know from our world.
[Not a lie, really. He doesn't know Dhaos and he doesn't really consider Derris Kharlan part of Aselia. Mostly he doesn't want Mithos recruiting another Seraph for whatever shit he decides to pull here.]
How about we get you set up with a place of your own, hm? Figuring all this stuff out is exhausting and a rest might do you good. I can answer any questions on our way if you like.
[Get him out of this house, get him away from Zelda. That's the plan!]
no subject
[ He'll believe him, for now. ]
Tomorrow. I need some time to process being here all of a sudden.
no subject
[Great, can't get him out of here tonight, but tomorrow'll be fine he guesses. With the emotional blow he knows he landed on Zelda, she shouldn't go poking her nose around Mithos anymore, at least not so soon. He should have enough time to get Mithos out of here without mishap.]
Maybe a little mental health nap would help. Or I can answer anything you're curious about concerning the city.
[Look how helpful he is! It's totally not because he wants to keep an eye on you until you get out of his house, no way.]
no subject
[ Mithos hopped up on a bed, reaching for the small pamphlet. ]
So far all I know is that the people here worship the coral, and it curses people occasionally. I still don't know why we're here, only how we got here.
no subject
[He doesn't mind being candid about the bubble itself. After all, Mithos is pretty powerful. He could definitely be an asset in trying to find a way out. He might kill their captors in the process but Zelos has absolutely no love for them either. As far as he's concerned, no one who has a hand in running this place is innocent.]
no subject
[ Okay, that upset him. ]
Does that mean the coral's just going to drain us till we die, then?
no subject
It's not like that. The coral gives us energy too, apparently. I think the stuff it takes is just some extra energy we don't really notice. If you touch the thing, you feel refreshed, so it's not like it's draining our mana or anything. Besides, we can't die here. Anyone gets killed, they just come back after five days. Hard to believe, but there you go.
no subject
[ Was that about the energy? Or people not staying dead? For him, or them? Mithos himself wasn't sure. ]
I'm gonna try to be nice, only because I don't know what I'm up against here.
no subject
[He doesn't sound so enthused.]
That's probably a good idea, considering. There's some dangerous characters around. Our next door neighbor is a behemoth of a horned monstrosity for starters.
no subject
[ He's fought worse as the hero of the Kharlan War. Ratatosk, for example. ]
Anything else I should watch out for?
no subject
[He can't think of anything Mithos would need to know immediately. Well, there was Dhaos, but... yeah let's not deal with that can of worms right now. We don't need all the angels teaming up or something.]
When was the last time you slept? Y'know, for mental health.
[No that totally wasn't a joke why would you think that?
Being nice to Mithos is harder than he remembers...]
