Terror under the sea
Who: The Disciple and whoever
Where: The Plaza, The forest, and the path in between.
When: Early morning 3/29
Style: whatever suits your fancy.
Status: Open
Water. She was Wet.
She came to lying down, somehow drenched in saltwater. Blood mingled with seawater, on her hands and face. The Disciple was unable to remember how she got here. She seemed to be in some sort of city. A heavy fear caught in her chest. She shook herself awake to figure out where exactly she was.
"Where...am..." Her voice cracked from disuse.
Her conscious brain began shutting down as her senses were pounded with information. The sights and sounds of this new place, hammered into her mind. Unfamiliar beings were all around her, some even looking at her, in the open. Her mind scrambled for purchase. Worst of all was the scent. With so many...things together in this dome, compounded with the ever-present smell of seawater. Flooded with input, her animal brain took over.
FLEE!
DANGER!
Finally, she caught wind of a familiar scent. Trees; there were trees here. She flung herself after the scent, knocking aside anything in her path. Desperate for survival she attempted back alleys and other paths that didn't reek of these many strange beings.
She fled to the southeast.

Her senses took in this creature. It looked and smelled of a beast, but had the mannerisms and the eyes of something intelligent.
Too dumbstruck to even take a defensive pose, she stuttered.
"What...is?" she queried.
no subject
"Ya know. You trolls really do like stompin' tru da woods." He pulled himself completely out of his hole. The Disciple was right; he wasn't an ordinary beast.
Of course with intelligence came emotion and he frowned a little, "Uh..you alrigh'?"
no subject
Curiosity taking over, she drew closer to this beast that speaks. It mentioned trolls, it knows of our kind. What else did it know. Maybe it knew where this damned place was. Her mind still racing, she pushed herself to speak.
"Where...?" She accompanied this with a gesture starting above herself towards the dome, but eventually motioning towards everything in a roundabout circle. She cocked her head in confusion.

"Dis place is called Vatheon. we're inside a giant bubble under da ocean, but der's an island up der." He pointed up towards the dome, "Ya jus' gotta go dat way ta find the elevator." He points towards the way she came, "Dat way is the Plaza, you'll find shops and dis giant coral ting der." He'd explain about the coral later it was important but with how confused she looked he didn't want to overload.
"Got dat so far, kid?"

Start somewhere, anywhere, focus.
"Bugs" she said, gesturing towards the rabbit with a nod to herself.
In turn she gestured to herself. "Am..." Her eyes growing wide in horror. My Name. What was my name? How do you forget your own name. Her eyes darted around, lost in thought. She tried to find it in her thoughts, but it refused to reveal itself. The greenblood's panic-stricken eyes finally falling on those of her strange friend.
no subject
"Ok, doll don't sweat it. We'll get to the name soon enough. Foirst ya gotta calm down." He didn't gaze away from her eyes, but he did note the pretty green shade they seemed to be. A familiar green shade actually.
...
Well, Lysu and the little bull horn had a lot in common. It was a stretch but it might work. "Alright, toots, I'm gonna guess your a predator." Because his oh mighty huntress often called herself that too, "Uh...oh! Here, pick a scent and try ta just stick to that."
no subject
She shook her head trying to clear cobwebs. Focusing was hard, but this being it seemed to know things. She cocked her head to the side, her lack of understanding quite evident on her face. Some of its words cleared her gap of understanding.
"Predator...yes!" she nodded happy with her effort at understanding.
Scent. It mentioned scent! It wants me to know its scent...maybe. strange creature, but she must admit shes curious. She could learn from it with a language she could more readily speak!
She drew closer to the rabbit, still unsure. Already this close, she took the plunge and edged up next to him, and started smelling.

His scent would be a little off, not like a normal rabbit at all. Still it wouldn't show fear or anger at least. Just a toon rabbit trying to figure out what the heck was going on.
"Good ting I took my Saturday bath eoirly this week." He wiggled a bit, hair getting on his fur, "Hey doll dat tickles." When she's done he'll just fold his arms, "Ok...tink you can handle a look around of dis place?" He points to his eyes then gestures to the forest around them.

Its latest statement served to confused her, but the followup of Bugs' gesturing keyed her into his query. He wished to show her something? The rabbit might know somewhere safe to den!
"Yes...show!" she nodded with each word.
no subject
"Come on, Kit." Well she had a lot of kitty like features and switching around to somewhat affectionate nicknames wasn't helping. She'd be Kit until he could figure out who the heck she was.
"Der's a cave ahead if ya wanna camp out der until things calm down?" He cupped his hands and held them up, hoping it somewhat made her think of cave.
no subject
"Yes Cave! Yess!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide. A small hint of a smile even played at the edges of her mouth.
Cave. Safety.

He points to the blood, at least...that's what he thinks it is. "Wait a sec." He reaches behind him and hands her a rather fluffy white towel, "Der doll. clean up while we walk."
no subject
"What...?" she muttered, mostly to herself.
Her head cocked in confusion, she moved to hand the towel back to her new friend.
no subject
"Wet is bad. Ya might get sick." Then where would he be? He has no idea what sort of symptoms a troll would get with a cold.
no subject
"yess... better." she said accompanied with a nod and slight smile.
She looked down at the discarded towel, and then as if remembering long-unused manners, picks up the towel and hands it back to Bugs.
no subject
"Ya welcome, Kit." He just sort of looked at the towel before tucking it away...somewhere.
no subject
She stood, and motioned to bugs. "Cave. Shelter...please." Oh! Please! all sorts of words were coming back to her.
no subject
"Heaven knows dat wouldn't make stayin' around here any better. At least da caves dry...jus' hope it's big enough for ya, toots." He pushed some trees out of the way before extending his hand towards a small hollow that had been made. The roots of a tree supported the 'roof' and a few bushes hid most of the entrance.
"Dere ya go kid."

The greenblood gracefully dropped to all-fours and began to examine the den in detail. Overall, it would make a great place for her to hide while she recovered her senses. Not a permanent home, but it would get her by for awhile.
She disappeared down into the hideaway, the bushes settling into place behind her. It was a little on the small side, she wouldn't exactly be able to stand up or anything inside, but it would be perfect for what she needed. Most importantly, it was dry.
After a while, the bushes parted as she found her way back outside the den.
"Is perfect!" She favored him with a smile "How can...thank?"
no subject
This was the part in the picture where he always dove into his hole and turned up somewhere else. Of course...he didn't have a hole out here yet so old fashioned 'exit stage right' was in order.
Until she spoke up again. He turned around walking the small distance back towards her, "Uh...no tanks are needed. I always help a lady in trouble. It's part a my contract."
no subject
"Am Thanks...Bugs want thing, let know... Hunt beast, track...kill enemy. Will help." She nodded with agreement at her own statement. "Am feel...better. Thank bugs." Oh my, look at all these words. The greenblood was quite pleased with herself. She recalled lots of writing, many larger words. Important words. But they remained lost to her for now.
no subject
"Ok. You win but uh...how about we wait on dat kill enemy ting, yeah?" He was not about to explain the fact that he was never in danger to her. This place was headache inducing enough without adding Toon Physics to the mix.
no subject
"Many Thank." She said over her shoulder. "Will be here now. Explore later...Safe now."
no subject
"Uh...heh yeah doll." He shook his head and watched her head back. If anyone asked he would feign ignorance. At least until she felt like being found by her friend or enemies or whatever weird thing trolls had.
"Later, toots." And with that Bugs turned around and strolled off singing an old song that faded away along with him.
