Water. She was Wet.

She came to lying down, somehow drenched in saltwater. Blood mingled with seawater, on her hands and face. The Disciple was unable to remember how she got here. She seemed to be in some sort of city. A heavy fear caught in her chest. She shook herself awake to figure out where exactly she was.

"Where...am..." Her voice cracked from disuse.

Her conscious brain began shutting down as her senses were pounded with information. The sights and sounds of this new place, hammered into her mind. Unfamiliar beings were all around her, some even looking at her, in the open. Her mind scrambled for purchase. Worst of all was the scent. With so many...things together in this dome, compounded with the ever-present smell of seawater. Flooded with input,  her animal brain took over.

FLEE!

DANGER!

Finally, she caught wind of a familiar scent. Trees; there were trees here. She flung herself after the scent, knocking aside anything in her path. Desperate for survival she attempted back alleys and other paths that didn't reek of these many strange beings.

She fled to the southeast.

"Nearly there. Don't want anyone catchin' a cold." Now he was rambling, realizing that this still unknown troll lady was regaining her composure. There might be some questions that he wouldn't be able to answer. Despite talking to a certain troll regularly; he still knew next to nothing about them.

"Heaven knows dat wouldn't make stayin' around here any better. At least da caves dry...jus' hope it's big enough for ya, toots." He pushed some trees out of the way before extending his hand towards a small hollow that had been made. The roots of a tree supported the 'roof' and a few bushes hid most of the entrance.

"Dere ya go kid."

He had watched her enter the cave, not hiding his own curiosity at just how feline she acted. It was interesting but gave him more questions then answers. When the bushes had settled he shrugged to himself and turned to head out.

This was the part in the picture where he always dove into his hole and turned up somewhere else. Of course...he didn't have a hole out here yet so old fashioned 'exit stage right' was in order.

Until she spoke up again. He turned around walking the small distance back towards her, "Uh...no tanks are needed. I always help a lady in trouble. It's part a my contract."

Bugs could be patient and it proved fruitful once again at he long string of words she said. Closest to an actual sentence he'd heard since he'd met her. A short grin and a nod.

"Ok. You win but uh...how about we wait on dat kill enemy ting, yeah?" He was not about to explain the fact that he was never in danger to her. This place was headache inducing enough without adding Toon Physics to the mix.

The affection caught him off guard, his whiskers standing straight up a little. Oh boy...it was one thing with a little kid but Disciple well! She...certainly was not little anywhere.

"Uh...heh yeah doll." He shook his head and watched her head back. If anyone asked he would feign ignorance. At least until she felt like being found by her friend or enemies or whatever weird thing trolls had.

"Later, toots." And with that Bugs turned around and strolled off singing an old song that faded away along with him.
