[If any Vatheonite takes the time today to take a look around the castle, they will find a very, very grumpy fairy godmother fluttering around.

Look, it's Carol, in full-costume and fluttering her wings and looking very sour indeed.]

Play along, he says. Grant wishes, he says. Ugh!

[She looks like she might snap that wand, oops. But she's also fluttering next to a crude, poorly done sign that says Quests for heroes!

...Maybe she'll give you a quest if you go talk to her?

ooc: let's get some questing going, Vatheonites! No fairy tale is complete without a plot, right? If you have a quest in mind, you're welcome to use this log to play it out and get people in on it; just mark the subject line Title of quest | Location | Open/Closed. If you don't have an idea for a quest or would like to talk to Carol, that's perfectly fine too; just mark those threads with Castle to indicate where your characters are! She'll only be sticking around the castle, so she won't be going on any quests with you guys.]

N-no! It's fine. We had to try, right? [He smiles, though there's something a bit off about it. He feels like he's done something wrong and has the inexplicable urge to run.]

I have to keep trying to find princesses and stuff, um... do you need anything, though? I don't really want to leave you alone, unprotected.

[fonmaster]

[Ion shakes his head. His ridiculously long hair makes the movement quite dramatic.]

I am safe here. Please don't worry about me. I'm used to staying still while other people go out on missions. It's better this way, right? I would get tired if I went with you.

If you're sure... but if you need anything, use the SFC okay? Just don't you fall asleep too. [He puts a hand on Ion's head, implying he doesn't want to have to try kissing him too!]

[fonmaster]

I won't!

[Ion smiles brightly. It's the only proper way to see someone off, after all.]

[With a smile back at Ion, Sola makes his escape. Goodness, this kissing thing is complicated. He's feeling about a million things at once and Guy hadn't even been conscious. Mostly, though, Sola just feels... wrong. He shouldn't have done it. It probably didn't work because he was thinking of Zelda...

He slows his steps and turns back towards Ion.]

Um... I don't know if I did that right...

[fonmaster]

[Ion has sat back down by Guy by the time Sola turns around. He perks up. Sola has a plan?!]

There's more than one way to do it? Do you think you can wake him up? That's wonderful!

Well, uh... I wasn't... really thinking about waking him up when I did it, so...

[Is this really right? The idea of someone kissing him if he was sleeping isn't really pleasant, unless it was...

But she wouldn't. Goddess, why can't he stop thinking about her?!]

[Ion folds his arms thoughtfully.]

That might make a difference. Maybe I should try again, too...

[After all, he hadn't been thinking of anything but getting it over with!]

Okay, you go first! [Yeah he's.. not exactly excited to kiss this stranger again, but duty is duty and he owes it to Ion at least to try and do everything he can to save his friend.]

[fonmaster]

[Ion takes a breath, then leans over, kissing Guy gently. He tries with all his might to will his friend awake, but it's to no avail. It can't be said that he skimped though, the kiss lasts a good ten seconds before Ion stands back up and shakes his head, blushing.]

I-it didn't work. I thought as hard as I could about it, though. I guess it's because I'm not a hero.

Guess... I'll try again, then.

[Sola leans over Guy again, putting his hands on either side of the pillow to steady himself and attempting to focus purely on waking Guy and not how his lips feel dry or how Guy's are kind of soft or how this he's the first person Sola's ever kissed and he wishes he was someone else-

No. Just... wake up.

wake up wake up wake up pleeeease wake up.

He presses his lips again against Guy's, closing his eyes and willing Sleeping Beauty to wake up. He pulls away after a few moments, seeing no change, and blushing brilliantly. He laughs sheepishly, trying to mask his nervousness.]

Guess I'm not a hero either.

[fonmaster]

[Ion joins the awkward laughter.]

Not Guy's hero, at least. I'm sorry you had to do that. Thank you for trying to help him.

It's okay. I should go though! Stay safe and call me if there's any trouble.

[Okay this is too much now. Off Sola runs, still red as a beet and incredibly confused. Kissing is just too much! He doesn't want to make a habit of it.]
