He may be deliberately visiting your character - if you're someone he knows - or it could be a chance meeting. Either way, he may be trying to ferret out information. Or there might not be anything in particular that he cares to know.]

[He lifts his head and gives her a look, eyes a little intent.]

Havve you bitten anyone else since you got here?

[She'd be a fool not to realise the intent behind that question, but nor is she going to lie.]

Of course. I would have found it difficult to survive if I had not. The Disciple has been assisting me, as she often has.

[She doesn't flinch at his tone, as she might have months earlier.]

[He scowls rather fiercely and turns, gripping her arm as he looks into her eyes]

[She starts when he grips her arm, then her jaw sets and she hisses defensively, wrenching herself free.]

My survival is not a matter relating to quadrants, Dualscar, nor the safety of the people around me should I be forced to go for too long without feeding. It is a matter of necessity, and I will not bow to any demands you make about a state of being that you do not understand.

[His fins flare, then flatten down. He doesn't want to lose her, and he's upset that she's angry with him, but it's frustrating to him as well]

[She takes a step back and shakes her head.] If something happens to you, and you are taken from me in some way, what do you suggest I do then?

[His fins droop a bit and he shifts from foot to foot, upset that she's pulling further and further away from him. He steps closer, reaching for her more gently than before]

Wwell, obvviously if that happens, then you should do wwhat you need to do to survvivve...

[As he reaches out, she takes one of his hands in both of hers, curling her fingers gently around his.]
