vatheon | All bubbles pop eventually

Yesterday was a day of celebration. For once, it seemed that the foreigners were able to affect the coral, and in a positive way at that. The coral lit back up, the barrier strengthened, and everything looked like it was back to normal again.

Unfortunately, it doesn't last.

Overnight the coral begins to dim again, flickering wildly along with the bubble itself. Those who stayed up on the island might notice the strange lights coming up through the waves if they're awake. The ones who stayed in the bubble will notice more than that. The atmosphere is tense, and every now and then there's an echoing crack, like a massive piece of glass is slowly losing its integrity.

By the time the morning arrives, the crack in the bubble is evident. After hours of threatening it, the crack finally falls open with a thundering snap, allowing the ocean to rush in. It hasn't yet given up entirely, but there's a steady stream of water pouring in to the plaza and on to the coral. The waterfall would be a pretty sight if not for the situation.

Hopefully no one stayed down there that long.

[Angelo gets even closer to Honey, still smirking as he's close to her face.]

I'd go anywhere with you, darling.

[Oh. Well. Oh. She'll just... lean backwards a little bit. At least he's not staring at her cleavage.]

Ahah... Let's keep this strictly business, shall we?

[Sorry Honey, but your cleavage is the next thing he's staring at when you pull away.]

I always the philosophy of pleasure before business myself.

[Of course it is. Okay, now she's getting a little offended. She'll never understand the interest men have in breasts.]

Even in a situation like this one?

[He sits on her motorcycle and smirks.]

Well we could always have the pleasure after business if you'd prefer. Though let's be on our way before we both drown down here.

[Hnngh. Tempted as she is to leave Angelo behind, now, she has to save everyone. Even the guys who resort to awfully persistent flirting.]

Right. You'd better hang on tight!

[Angelo wraps his arms around Honey's body when she gets on.]

I'm hanging onto you tightly, darling.

[She snaps the visor of her helmet shut, grabs the handlebars of the motorcycle firmly with both hands and kicks off. Sadly, she's not above driving like a maniac and taking a few questionable shortcuts. Angelo's not in any actual danger, but boy are they moving fast. As they zoom through the streets of Vatheon, there's also a good chance her hair might whip him in the face a little.]

[He doesn't mind her hair whipping him in the face, but he's used to going fast from riding on Empyrea. Though the excitement of being on this motorcycle was rather fun. He hoped Honey would let him use it more often.]

[There's a good chance Angelo may never see Hurricane Honey again after all this is over, though she's undecided on the matter. She hadn't wanted to use the transformation device in Vatheon, but now that she's finally slipped back into one of her other personas, she's actually finding a bit of comfort in it.]

[Honey may or may not notice Angelo's hands moving upward as his eyes are still staring down at her chest area. After all, he's still a bit of a pervert at heart.]

[Oh. She notices. That's why she takes the next corner with an exceptionally great outward sway that may just fling Angelo sideways if he doesn't stop focusing his attention on her chest instead of the ride itself.]

[He turns his attention back to the ride instead of on Honey's chest, clinging onto the ride itself now. Was she trying to knock him off or something?]

[Nope, it was just a friendly warning that Angelo shouldn't push her limits. She's the one driving a speedy motorcycle, after all. Speaking of which, they'll arrive at the elevator after a few more twisting turns, where the motorcycle comes to a screeching halt.]

[Angelo gets off the motorcycle and smiles back at Honey.]

Thanks for the ride, darling.

[Before he goes though, he leans in and gives Honey a quick cheek kiss then heads up the elevator.]

[Hah? Haaah? What was that, Honey doesn't even-

She'll just... stand there and attempt to stifle the blush on her cheeks.]
